Crown Wigs

I’ve been shopping for wigs at so many different stores but I finally found this place, they have great quality wigs, wide variety, and also some unique wigs. I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend this store.

After receiving my last chemotherapy treatment about 3 months ago, I decided I wanted a wig. I decided to come here based on the 5-​star reviews and it was also on the list that my oncologist’s office gave me. Big mistake. When you are selling wigs, you’re not just selling any kind of commodity, you’re selling an emotion, i.e. hope, happiness, etc. At first, I walked into the shop there were no salesperson in sight, just mannequin heads all around me. When the lady appeared from the back, I told her I needed a wig because I lost my hair due to chemotherapy. She proceeded to let me try on some wigs. I picked out 3 and she picked out 2. After that she abruptly said, you cannot try on anymore and proceeded to walk away. She later told me that the maximum you can try in one visit is 4 and apparently she let me go over my limit. Had I known that there was a limit, I would have made my choices more carefully esp, not letting her pick it out for me. At this point she was at the cash register area and I’m still on the chair where she left me. So if you try on 4 more it would be an extra $ 20. I told her I’d pay the $ 20 to try on another wig. She then proceeded to come back to where I was sitting.
I felt like this place was about selling and lacked heart. Because I was desperate for time and in a rush, I decided to get one of the wigs but I left very unsatisfied.

I have been buying wigs from Diana at Crown Wigs for several years. She is wonderul, knows what will look best on me, and is a delight to deal with. I would go nowhere else.
A wig suited to your face can make you look and feel great.

I actually had to get a wig because of a stylist accident at a salon left me practically bald and the remaining hair was multi-​toned. Green in some places, black in some places, red in some places and my natural hair color (dark blonde). The owner was so professional and so nice and very knowledgeable. The first wig she suggested is the one I bought. I tried on at least 30 other wigs. Wigs are great because in this scenario the wig helped me feel attractive again. Like India Arie says «I am not my hair» but after having mid-​back length hair bleached to the point I had an inch and a half left in some places at best, I felt so embarrassed. This place is awesome.

To get to this sweet spot, you have to travel via limo. Seriously.
That’s how ritzy this place is. But when you’re named «Crown» Wigs, shouldn’t you expect a little bit of royalty?
While we went to get my friend a custom handmade merkin, we were disappointed that they didn’t offer any Made-​in-​the-​USA brands with real hair.
That said, their close location to La Bamba truly made it an overall delightful stay.
Highly recommended even for the classless.
