This meal was awful. The fries were like eating cold, stale Styrofoam. The garden salad was covered in pickles and some kind of slimy«cheese product». It was completely inedible. Perhaps if your menu had descriptions, I could have told you to leave the crap off the salad. The«hot sub» arrived cold. The very best of the meal was average, and those were the doughnuts. All in all, a complete waste of my money.

I’ve ordered delivery from here a few times now, and have been happy each time. We’ve had the general tso’s chicken, house special rice noodle, and rib tips so far. Last time, they include a free order of potato salad, and it tasted okay… nothing too special. The steak and cheese egg roll is a neat idea, and totally what you’d expect. Favorite so far = fried dumplings; definitely a generous meat to dough ratio. Delivery is fast and friendly. Happy to have found a solid Chinese take-out that reminds me of my beloved Wah Luck Kitchen on Long Island.

First time customer ordering for delivery. Heads up– mozzarella sticks come with _ketchup_. Shrimp egg rolls were ok but a little greasy and the general tso’s chicken was ordered spicy but arrived bland. They serve equal amounts of rice and chicken.

Absolutely great in the Wheaton area. Food is tasty and large quantities. My orders for delivery have arrived quickly and hot! The General Tso’s chicken had a bit of spice, not like the gloppy over sweet sauce at most places. The house sub was salty but very good. Wish they took American Express, but they take other cards. A thumbs up review.

This was the worst food I have ever eaten. The curry chicken had only enough chicken to build a chicken wing and was only onion. The moo shu pork had no pork and had no flavor. We also asked for spring rolls which tasted like they had been frozen for a few months. Judging by the other reviews, I might have gotten them on a bad day but this was really bad.

This is an interesting concept. I wasn’t aware of NY style chinese but I’ve tried a few of the dishes here and liked them. This places seems to be a bit better quality than the typical American Chinese around here, especially for delivery places. I’ve noticed less grease, sugar, cornstarch, and other crap in their sauces. It’s still there of course, but noticeably less than the other Chinese takeouts. The rice noodles and Singapore noodles are quite good. And the dumplings too. Most of the meat dishes seem to have higher quality meat than their competitors. It looks and tastes much better. So if you’re not familiar with this restaurant, they will have most of the usual dishes, but better quality. I will point out that there are no noodles in the chow mein. That was a surprise for me since most other places have fried crispy noodles in this dish, with soft noodles in the lo mein. But not so for this place. Their chow mein is quite good but it’s meat and veggies in sauce. If you want noodles, get lo mein, singapore noodles, or rice noodles. Singapore noodles are the thinnest. Lo mein is thick. Rice noodles are in between. The spare ribs were decent quality meat, but covered in sweet sticky sauce that I didn’t really like. You can also request ribs without sauce if you don’t like the sweetness. I’ll take pics next time and share it. Anyone planning to write a review, take some pics and post it.

Finally, NYC Chinese food in the D.C. region! Jenny’s relocated here from Brooklyn, NY about a year ago. Their food is awesome and done in classical NY fashion(i.e., fried rice with bean sprouts, huge chicken wings, steak sandwiches, etc.). I especially enjoy the fried fish platter, which comes with 2 huge pieces of flounder with rice or fries. I also like like the idea of the open kitchen(where you can watch your meals being prepared), which is also typical of most NYC Chinese take outs.
