Suprisingly authentic Mexican/Hispanic food!(I have been to Mexico many times). Everything was quite tasty. Price was very moderate. Service was good. Décor wasn’t much; but you can’t have everything.

My husband and I ate here today and this is the first review I have ever written about a place. There have been many places that I wish I wrote reviews at, but this one is the first to actually get me off my butt to do it. We are always hesitant going to Latin American restaurants, mostly because we love Latin American food but very rarely find good, authentic food that we are willing to pay for. We ordered the Enchiladas Mexican Style 2 beef and one chicken $ 8.95, to start with.(I personally, took forever to decide because their menu had so many good options) I finally decided on a Horchatta($ 4) to drink, and Camarones crema $ 15.95– creamy garlic sauce covered shrimp with peppers, onions, tomatoes, with a side of rice, avocado, and potato salad, and 2 corn tortillas. *Yes, definitely enough to feed 2 people(my husband and I often split meals if that says anything about my opinion on portions though) in fact we were full after the appetizer of enchiladas which also came with rice, beans, guac, etc. So the service was okay, and as mentioned by others there is really loud music, but to be honest, that is very normal in these restaurants, they are catering to their usual crowds, and their usual crowds enjoy it. But if you want to go to a place to talk, may not be the best. My 5 star review is for the food. Everything was absolutely the tastiest thing ever. The food was fresh, flavorful, well plated, big portions, and super tasty. I wish my stomach and wallet were bigger to try the rest of whats on their menu. We will definitely be back and we are so glad to have found a great Latin American restaurant close by. ** They also have good options for kids and a huge variety on their menu * and decent prices.

Places is dark and crowded with tables. They were playing depressing music and the atmosphere wasn’t inviting at all. The server was good but not great. The food was bland and seemed like it was frozen before it was given to us.

La comida estaba pésima, el arroz estaba agrio y masoso! El pescado estaba tostado y pequeño para el precio! Consideró que $ 14.95 que pague esperaba algo de mejor calidad!

Questions waitress about something on the menu didn’t get correct info. Disappointed with food, prices, drinks and prices. I watch her make my margarita ½ shot of tequila if that and sour mix. That’s not even a half a drink. Then had the nerve to add gratuity. For what? I was so disgusted I packed the food up and threw it in the trash outside, I would not recommend this place. Unless I was some drunk man who spoke Spanish wanting to get drunk and look at women in tight clothes and not caring how much money they take from them. This is pathetic, they need to be shut down or at best get their shit together.

I wish I would’ve eaten at the McDonald’s down the street before stepping foot into this establishment. I should’ve turned and walked out before I sat and looked at the menu… But regretfully, I ordered, and I hardly ate. It was dark, gloomy, empty but VERY loud. I couldn’t hear myself think because of the music, my girlfriend got uncomfortable stares, and my food was cold. I was optimistic and hopeful about this place, telling myself not to judge a book by its cover… but in this case, the looks of this place correlate with the quality. Do not ever order anything with«chicken».

Terrible, tricked me into putting tip that was already in my check. The Lady’s could put a little more clothes on. Ain’t no one wanna see that. It’s very dark and dirty in there, but hey, if that’s what you like go ahead…

The pupusas here are by far the only pupusas that are the tastiest ever! They have the perfect amount of stuffing. They are perfect all over. I’ve been eating these for years now and the only bad thing is that sometimes they make it a little different but never failing in the taste. Best pupusas ever!

I find it very hard to give a good review to a restaurant that sends people out into the neighborhoods to leave their garbage on the doors of people’s homes. The food on the menu that was left on my door certainly looks lovely, but as a rule, I will not patronize restaurants that leave trash on the door of my home.

My husband’s haircut brought me to this neck of the woods. Great food, I recommend the pupusas and tamales.

Ordinarily I don’t review a place on just one visit, but it seems not many people have reviewed it, so I’ll do it. I went with my wife to this restaurant a couple of days ago — we were in the area and didn’t want to go any distance away because we were hungry and didn’t want to wait for a bus. Except for a McDonald’s and a Burger King, this left only La Frontera and Seoul Soondae, and it was a Sunday and my experience with Seoul Soondae on weekends is you can’t find a staff person who speaks English, so we came here. Unusually, both of us ordered the same dish — Salvadorian enchiladas. We both liked them, though they were deep-fat fried, which was a bit of a negative for her(not particularly for me). They were quite different from what I normally think of as «enchiladas» — basically, three very thick tortillas(which seems to be the typical Salvadorian way to do tortillas) laid flat on the plate(not rolled up, as in most enchiladas), with the chicken and shredded cabbage put on top. As I said, they tasted fine. However all soft drinks are $ 2.50 or even more; though my wife asked for water and was given bottled water free, so if you’re willing to settle for water, that’s an option. I ate the stuff dry, which I was able to with just a little sip of my wife’s water(I rarely drink plain water — but that’s just me) and then went to a CVS almost next door for some iced tea to drink. So the food is tasty, but you can’t get anything to drink(other than water) for a reasonable price, and the latter almost got me to knock off another star. It’s a shame you can’t give separate ratings for different aspects of a restaurant.

A very casual dining place with loud music but the food is REALLY good.
