The people at the store are knowledgeable and very good to work with. You can see all of their shades and blinds and make an informed decision. Their products are expensive, but the installation goes smoothly and the company stands behind their products. Where the company really shines is in their customer service — it’s really terrific! We’ve ordered two different times since October 2015 and we have been very pleased. We had a slight problem with one of the shades not hanging correctly, and I called NDB’s customer service after two months of agonizing about whether the problem merited it(the shade did not hang straight). The customer service representative, Mr. Loyal, really went out of his way to make sure that we got the finished product that we wanted and that it was installed perfectly.

Pay a Little More But You Also Get a Little More All in all a solid experience at Next Day Blinds. You do pay a little more, but you get in return what you paid for. Our experience working with Shanna was a pleasant one, albeit with a couple of missed e-mails in between. You go into the store and have a chance to look at the existing styles and inventory. We went with the Next Day Blinds Double HoneyComb for our home. The honeycombs are good for energy conservation. Once you go in you set a time for someone to come and measure your windows. This usually takes a week to schedule. Then it is about another week for them to come and install the blinds. All in all a better name might be ‘Next Two Weeks Blinds’. But I understand the marketing machine is at work here. The person came to measure our windows, and after that we were given a price quote. ‘Next day’ requires 60% of the total fee to be paid in advance, and the rest after installation. They do try to upsell you. I was told that the guy who came to measure for installment thought we should go with the model($ 40 more for each blind) where the blinds are cordless. We were warned a couple of times of how the front bay window would be a ‘lot of cords’. This was really nonsense. We are not talking ship chain anchors here. The cords are barely noticeable. What we did spring for was on the ability to either raise the blinds from the bottom or from the top. This is a GREAT feature. For the bedroom we went with the honeycombs that come lined with mylar. Very wise call. They completely black out all light. So the day came and the installer not only did a very very good job in record time, but he even had in his truck a color we were told was on back order for which the company would have to come back out again. They have really good installers and all our windows look great. We went with different colors for the rooms, but from the outside all you see is white. And the double honey comb blinds let light in(except the mylar coated ones) while still providing privacy. So win/win. You will pay extra at next day blinds(and definitely not getting them the next day), but as long as you stand firm on attempts to upsell, you will come away with a very nice product from this store.
