I haven’t had an issue with customer service at this Popeyes. I walk in knowing what I want, order, then I leave. No complaints.

The place closes at 10…
but if you don’t get there by 8:30 there’s an excellent chance you won’t get what you want.

Just echoing what others have said here. The customer service here is very, very rude. Don’t know if they’re underpaid, overworked, not trained or all three, they just are very short with customers. Today one cashier, named IRIS –the one someone here also mentioned, treated a person in front of me so rude and was loud and demeaning. She tried to do the same with me once I was in front for her, and I asked for the manager. Turns out that IRIS is the store manager. Wow, if that’s how the manager acts… This store has a bad, and from what I saw well-​deserved, reputation of treating its customers as garbage. Too many options nearby, like a McDonalds, pizza shop, 3 or 4 restaurants next to it, to actually spend money there. Trust the reviews on this place, and walk away.

This place gave me and 2 other people I know violent cases of food poisoning… on 3 separate occasions. Avoid like the plague!

Watch out if you order the Buffalo Shrimp combo currently advertised on TV for $ 5.99. I made a trip there because of the commercial. The order was accurate and tasted good but I didn’t pay close attention to the total cost and as I was eating noticed they had rung up $ 6.29! I went back to the cashier and was told the drink was extra cost. I pointed to the huge 6 ft sign in the front window and showed them it said Medium drink with the combo for $ 5.99. The Supervisor said «Just a minute.» and went on to serve the three other customers behind me and then prepare some food to set out. Eventually, the other cashier inquired why I was standing there which brought the Supervisor back and they both said that was what the computer always rings up and they can’t change it, and I should call the number on the back of the receipt. That number is an automated voice survey menu. The food is good but everyone should scrutinize the amounts rung up BEFORE paying because you WON’T get a refund. And they should take that big $ 5.99 sign on the front window down if they aren’t going to honor that price, which is what I told them. I have the feeling this is not the first time they’ve encountered this as they didn’t want to talk about it.

I work close to this location. The food is fine, but the customer service is terrible. They are always rushing you out of the way when it’s your turn in line. They ALWAYS get my order incorrect. They need to make some adjustments on the staffing end, including the manager – she is the most rude.

Love that chicken from Popeyes! If you are in the mood for fry chicken without the hassle of making it yourself, come in order you some fried chicken. You’ll get it fast and fresh.

We came in at 1145 they gave us quite a deal on a bucket of 12 the manager even gave us a free cake thank you very much… we really appreciate the late night meal.

It’s very close to home and they are all right. Not the friendliest of associates there but whatever I go in there for the food once in a while and its served in a good amount of time and decent taste. They maintain the seating area pretty clean at most times.

I have to agree with everyone else on here so far, the food is fine, and if you’re not in a hurry then by all means, make a visit. I get the urge about once a month and since I live near by, I can smell the chicken wafting across the road on occasion (that and the Chinese cary-​out next door do not help!). The slow service is just slightly annoying if they’re not busy, but it’s very annoying if they are busy, because it takes them 3 – 4 minutes to wait on each person. I mean seriously, you’re putting chicken in a box, closing the box, grabbing a side, and the order is done. Why does it always take so long? I’ve had jobs I hated too, you just do them! At least this location has never run out of something (i’ve been to locations of this chain that were either out of chicken totally, or it was going to take 20 minutes to make more). I have had them be out of a specific piece and offer me a different one in compensation which was fine. Oh, and get the spicy chicken. The mild tastes like cardboard, the spicy is by no means hot, maybe a 2 out of 5 on a heat scale. It does however actually have a little bit of flavor.

Usually fresh food, slow service and very small portions for the price, u will get far more for your money by going to golden coral, save your time and money, avoid Popeyes!

The customer service is not so great here. Not quite horrible but the employees clearly seem as though they would rather watch paint dry.
They always give me small pieces of chicken and almost never have the big sized drink cup that you’re supposed to receive when you order a combo. AND the place closes down at 10 pm. Even though this place is closest, I’d rather drive further to the Takoma Park location that doesn’t close until midnight.

Okay, so, prior to this evening, I was a Popeyes virgin. However, this particular Popeyes is extremely close to my apartment complex, and because one of my friends couldn’t believe that I had never had Popeyes (I guess they’re not a big thing in Pennsylvania), we decided to venture over yonder.
The food… oh, god. Perfect fast food fried chicken. Way better than KFC. I had a three piece tender meal with a side of mashed potatoes, and it was just… amazing. My boyfriend got the loaded wrap combo, and all he could say between mouthfuls was, «…THE CHICKEN.» My friends got the tenders, too, and we were all happy campers. (Insert joke about «popping» my Popeyes… well, you know, corny virginity joke)
The service, though – sh*t was sloooow. We were waiting on our to go order for about 20 minutes.

This is pretty bad, even by Popeye’s standards! Not the food though, it’s your regular chicken, but the service is tooooooo slow and orders are often mixed up. I’ve been to better Popeye’s and this is not one of them.

Why is this even on here?
Uhh, I went here at 9 or so for some Chicken Sunday night. The people there were not happy to have to serve someone. They didn’t have much chicken ready. They hand picked the smallest pieces they could. But it was fast and tasty.
I mean… it’s friggin Popeyes…
