Starbucks

By far my favorite Starbucks in this area. The staff are friendly and competent. The drinks come out right every time. The store is clean and has enough tables that I can always get one.

The customer service here is the best! I already know what to expect from the drinks at Starbucks and they were exactly what I expected — which is a good thing. But even with a long line on a Sunday things kept moving and everyone was cheerful and I got my drink before I expected it. Plus the store was clean. Can’t say these things about many of the Starbucks in the area. Thank you folks!

So, this one is the worst Starbucks in the area. Now that they have moved most of the sitting in the back of the store where the music is so loud that you can not have a decent conversation with person sitting even across. On top of that the staff is loud and inconsiderate of the patrons. With coffee machines grinding, steel jars banging in the sink, ice grinder on the other side, staff being loud and music volume at unbearable levels, its impossible to stay and enjoy coffee.
We pay high price not for only coffee but for the experience. And experience is not pleasant here.

I visit this location almost every day — it’s very popular/​crowded, so parking is limited and the line is often long, but they crank out the drinks pretty quickly. And the staff is super friendly.

OK, this place has really improved since 2011. (Haven’t we all!) The venue has been refurbished and the bank of baristas has been winnowed down to the experienced and enthusiastic. The neighborhood feel has evolved, too.

I love Starbucks and this is one of the worst I’ve seen lately. They are currently painting a mural in the store which I’m sure will be beautiful when it’s done, but for now seating is limited and the store smells more like paint than coffee. The real kicker is the staff though. They are SLOW, messed up at least half the I orders of the customers in line with me (wrong sizes, messed up a custom order), and many customers in line with me had to repeat their orders up to 5 times. Staff also seemed to be in a bad mood the whole time. Not sure if this place has a training issue or what, but I would suggest hitting up a different store for now.
UPDATE: Been back a few times since (hey, they are right next to Trader Joes…) and it looks like they have gotten their act together. Seating has improved. No paint smell. Order was perfect. Yeah!

Came in on Sunday at 10am. They all seem asleep. Staff is very slow. I suggest they drink some of their caffeinated products and get some customer service going. It’s like they didn’t stock their inventory the night before or smoked too much weed.

They’re open in the evening which is great. The baristas are usually very nice and I’ve never had a single issue. Once I ordered a chai latte, added too much cinnamon, &they made me another, no charge even though it was my mistake. Good customer service secures my business. I like this SB, and it’s right next to Bark! And Trader Joe’s if that’s your thing. That parking lot blows during peak hours which is why the 4 out of 5. BUT… it’s Pretty convenient, coffee is good, muffins rock, no long lines, in and out and very clean. BAM!

Soooooo ok, 1^st the product. There are Starbucks everywhere so its pretty much all the same at his point so I don’t need to go into details about that. The service is hit and miss. Some days I go in and they are nice and aren’t forgetful, and get my order correct. Other days I want to go in there and yell at the top of my lunges. Especially when they get something simple so wrong. Another thing is the parking. There are so many other busy establishments there such as trader joes, the parking is absolutely terrible unless you go during an off time obviously. Be prepared to park in the back if you do go on a Sunday.

The worst Starbucks experience I’ve ever had. Those people (cashier, barista) were rude and didn’t pay attention on my customized drink. I had to repeat over 4 – 5 times about my drink in order for them to understand. Especially the barista there. I don’t know how could he work there as only a barista. I always get the same thing and believe me. My drink is not complicated.

I was just second in line and had to walk out. because I had been second in line for TEN minutes while the guy in front of me repeated his order four times. He was on his fifth, and had repeated the word bagel over and over as I made my way out the door. Sorry Starbucks, I needed to order in English just like the guy in front of me and had people waiting in the car. Might want to shell out extra dough for a translator so your people can get an order straight… ugh.

If you need coffee at night, it’s super easy and breezy to come here for your coffee or tea delight. The lines are short and service quick, making it perfect for whatever you pick. The staff peops are polite, day or night, the seating is plenty, for about twenty, and the facilities are clean– you know what I mean.
I have never had them mismake any drink I have ordered– that is a plus considering how picky I can be!

Well first of all, this is the worst parking lot ever. Just park in the back its a tad bit easier. This is also a VERY busy location so be prepared to wait. I walk up and order an espresso macchiato (which is a real drink, it is on the menu) and the cashier just stares at me. Um. hello… are you awake? I repeated myself and she said «umm… I don’t know what that is…» So then I told her it is simply just 1 espresso shot with a small amount of steamed milk and I wanted 1 pump of sugar free vanilla. She made a face of frustration and she «ugh I can’t hear you» very rudely. Excuse me? When I finally told her what I wanted 4 times, I had to wait 10 minutes for my one little drink and they forgot the vanilla. I went back and asked for a pump and the barista ruined it so bad it was undrinkable. I almost threw up. So disgusting. Never coming back to this Starbucks.

I’d like to give this location 5-​stars for the awesome drinks and excellent staff… but the Wi-​fi is slower that a turtle crossing the road. I came today with a friend (very exciting for me, since nobody likes to have study-​dates these days) and expected it to be a fantastic experience.
WELL.
There’s an ample amount of table/​chair seating, but they’re tiny tables that aren’t suitable for two laptops. Didn’t think about that one.
The four plush chairs are very comfortable, but good luck getting two next to each other. If you’re lucky enough you’ll have a tiny table between every two to park your drinks on. There’s also a sufficient amount of outlets so your laptop and/​or phone never runs out of battery. BIG plus.
Let’s get back to the Wi-​fi. IT’S SLOW. I had to watch a 7min. video for one of my classes… and waited over 30 minutes for it to load. Do you know what I could’ve accomplished in 30mins?! Had I known the videos could’ve been watched beforehand, at home. Not that I should have to plan that, since most coffee shops offer faster Wi-​fi. The Starbucks in Rockville is pretty fast.
Final verdict? Awesome drinks, friendly staff, but not the friendliest environment for doing work that needs a faster connection.

If I could give 0.5 stars, I would give 3.5 stars. I come here often before work and sometimes service is slow and other times it is slow with a long line. The staff is very friendly and they socialize with the customers well. Honestly, I just come here because it is the only coffeehouse in my neighborhood. I really don’t have any options so I just come here.

This is the Starbucks in the Trader Joes shopping Center. You know, the one that makes you pound your fists on your steering wheel because the parking lot is always so crowded and hard to maneuver?
It is of note that the Google Map attached to this business page places the Starbucks in the middle of Northwest Branch, a nearby stream. I can assure you that this Starbucks location is actually on dry land!
What are not of note are the drinks, and sometimes the service, at this particular location. There are some really nice staff there but there are also a few who regularly kill my Starbucks pleasure buzz because of sour attitudes. Never had an awful drink from there but also have not had the best of my life. Sadly I go here often because I live at Trader Joes. I have a little cot in the back where they let me sleep when I am not purchasing every item on their shelves.
The Starbucks a mile or two up the road at Four Corners (University and New Hampshire) can have a better vibe. But, on a nice day, the TJ Starbucks (as I refer to it) wins, because of the large outdoor patio and tables with umbrellas. Also you can randomly see crazy people in this parking lot, which is odd because of its very sterile suburban location.

I visit this location almost daily, and every single one of the staff is beyond amazing! They are always prompt and quick, friendly and always have a smile present, they make great drinks and offer excellent customer service!
Much nicer environment then the Hillandale location, the service there is usually very rude and slow there… baristas chatting amongst each other while you’re waiting for your latte, not warming sandwiches, ect.
This location however is always a pleasant experience :)

When I was there the service was very good and the bathroom very clean. The coffee was made right and I enjoyed sitting outside in the sun. Parking lot is a drag though.
