Aweful aweful aweful! Refused my free refill right! This is a company-owned store, and is subject to all company rules. But they didn’t. I’d give no star at all if I could. The baristas were all right. It’s the manager, Alan, who is the worst! I’ve ordered a grande iced Americano with my starbucks card, and stayed in store the whole time, and was refused for a free refill. The baristas refused, and I asked for the manager. ALAN, the manager said«You only get refill tea if you got tea before, you get regular coffee refill if you got regular coffee before, but if you had iced americano, you get no refill.» I was like, excuse me? What did you just said??? The baristas even said that they got in trouble before for giving out free refills.

The only bad thing about this location is the parking lot. It’s a small lot for the number of stores here and there are really only 2 ways in or out — north on Colesvile or west on University. The guys who work here though are fast, good, and my order has been perfect every time.

Went to high school right down the street. Used to come here all the time. First time back at this location in 5 years. It’s was neat, clean and friendly. I ordered two drinks and one was done almost immediately. Iced mocha. My frappuchino however took a little longer than usual. But still very nice and homey place. Doesn’t feel as commercialized as the other locations do sometimes

Yup, it’s an awful location with an awful parking lot, but the folks here have always been really attentive and polite. So, even if it’s a pain to get here, it’s always nicer inside. There isn’t a large seating area, so just get it to go. Just be careful of the parking lot craziness!

Lowering my stars even more… I asked for an iced coffee with light cream and they give me one that’s basically almost white — aka basically all cream with a splash of coffee from the looks of it. I seriously cannot stand my coffee with so much cream so I said I asked for light cream and this drink is like white(see picture). What do I get? An f-ing attitude from the barista. I decided to bite my tongue instead of telling him off because he is clearly an idiot if he cannot make an iced coffee with light cream properly. I decided to spare him the embarrassment from the words I really wanted to say from the ridiculous attitude I got. Honestly, that’s one of the easiest drinks on their menu! It’s not like I got some light caramel macchiato with 4 and a half shots of espresso and asked to hold the milk to about 3.2 ounces. They need to train their staff to make drinks properly and learn some f-ing customer service skills because they don’t have any here.

The only thing that sucks about this Starbucks is the LOCATION! It’s in the Woodmoor Shopping Center, which is very cramped and difficult to get to if you’re not going the right way on 29. If you’re coming from the opposite way, you’ll have to make a right on University, then bust a U-turn, THEN make a left onto 29… from which you’ll make a right into Woodmoor. Exasperating? Absolutely! However, it doesn’t stop me from coming here on the way back from work! The baristas are also extremely friendly, and made a butterbeer on the spot! She even put«Hermione» on the cup to appease me… such nice people :) I haven’t tested the Wi-Fi connection, but the Starbucks itself has enough room to accommodate hipsters… I mean patrons… with laptops and large bags. Hope this helps ;)

It’s Starbucks, so if you’ve been in one, you’ve been in them all. This one tends to have plethora of high school students at it, filling the place up because of its location near Blair. My usual Starbucks suggestions apply here: Unless you like ultra dark roast(burnt tasting) coffee, stick to the«coffee» drinks.

Yep, it’s a Starbucks! This one’s in the Woodmoor Shopping Center at the intersection of Colesville and University. Notable characteristics include the crowd of Blair High School students when school lets out, an inexplicable annual to bi-annual furniture reorganization, and the fact that they’re next to Santucci’s Deli and a few doors down from the Woodmoor Bakery so there’s never a reason to buy from the pastry case. Not a great place for camping out with a laptop — I think there’s four comfy chairs at the moment — but the high turnover rate means there’s almost always somewhere to sit and, you know, drink a coffee. Oh and side note if the lot’s full — there’s another one in the back. You’re welcome!

Love this Starbucks, the staff, the crowd and the location(Four Corners shopping center, at the corner of University and 29). A few negatives: Can get a little dirty and do avoid at high school dismissal time — it’s right across the street from one and gets overrun. If you run into someone you know here it will be one of your cooler acquaintances, not a dork that you don’t really want to see. That’s the type of place it is. A great place to sit outside and watch the world in this interesting art deco shopping center. Just hope no one lights up a cigarette while you are out there.

Yasha the MOD is super rude and not customer friendly! I wanted my light Frappé remade because it was made incorrect. He refused told me to call Corp and he would deal it. I’ve been to thousands of Starbuck all around the country and never had this type of issue from any Starbucks employee. After the drama he put me threw would nor go by this location. Thank Goodness there another five Starbucks within a mile radius. Thanks Yash for ruining my Thanksgiving weekend over a drink that was made wrong by a clerk you said you trained and 99% of the drinks are never made wrong.

This place needs more big comfy chairs and outlets. Given the huge space, they could do it. The staff is friendly if harried. The pumpkin spice soy decaf latte is great. Saving grace.

ummm… its starbucks The location is kinda fun, theres a guy out front who used to be in a mental institution thats really nice to hang out with, sometimes. Nothing really special about the location other then the horrendous parking which makes for a grand adventure in itself.

I actually really like this location. Cause I can walk to BOA and theres a lot of parking. This store is relatively empty each time I visit it, but the staff is always super nice. They still don’t know me and look at me like i’m alien when I order my drink. But its hard when you have 4 starbucks(5 if you count target) within a 5 mile radius. I visit a different one each day. But I do like this one. A lot.

This Starbucks is much like the rest of them, however the manager here is exceptional. She has been greeting customers, making drinks, sweeping floors and generally doing all she can to make this a better place for customers. The rest of the staff is friendly and my experience has been very good. It is pretty laid back and not filled with the usual Starbucks«crowd».

This Starbucks is another dump in Silver Spring. Compared to other Starbucks I’ve been in, and I’m a big fan, this one is dirty in the inside, the furniture needs to be updated, the parking lot is always dirty and it’s a forlorn shopping center. They have a few small tables set up outside but they are about 2 feet from parked cars, pulling in, pulling out, once you’re sitting down you’re at eye level with car hoods. How nice. The same old panhandler outside and the Langley Park overflow looking for day jobs is in the same parking lot. The whole shopping center is a dump.

i’m not really reviewing this starbucks because i like it or don’t like it(it’s your average run of the mill starbucks). it doesn’t get very crowded — which is good and it does have a good amount of lounging space, but the real reason why i am reviewing starbucks at all is because of one item that they sell; they call it the protein pack.(which they sell at most((but not all)) starbucks in the metro area). i don’t care about the protein. what it is, is this; one hard boiled egg, one mini bagel, one packet of organic peanut butter, two bits of apple, a smattering of grapes, and two little pieces of cheese. it’s not for me — it’s for my daughter, who usually devours the whole thing(except the cheese). top it off with an organic milk or juice and you got yourself the perfect toddler/preschooler lunch. what do i get? a red eye, something to nibble on, background music that does not drive me insane, satisfaction that my little one is filling herself with real food, and maybe even a couple of minutes to read the paper. now that’s a F-ing happy meal!
