Bowling is fine… food service to the bowlers is extremely slow. Only two servers available on league nights? WTH?! Plan on waiting a long time.

So, we just stopped in to play a game of bowling! You would think this is a relatively easy task for staff to handle — apparently at All Star Lanes this is not true. We went up to the counter, waited quite a few minutes to be helped as the staff seemed to be wrapping up a birthday party and cashing out tickets for prizes — understandable. We were patient. We were helped by a douchebag in a bow tie, who kept on insisting after *three* times of explaining we only wanted to play one game, that we should in fact pay ten dollars more to rent the lane for an hour because we could supposedly get almost three games in… With a seven year old, who was bowling for her first time and using a lane-buddy. He was very pushy, was trying to argue with my fiancée and tell him to rent the lane for the full hour and also told us the lanes would be closing down one hour from when we arrived(6pm) to prepare for Rock’N’Bowl… We didn’t budge and only paid for the one game and three shoe rentals. It was $ 12 cheaper and the one game took us 45 minutes to complete. How did he think we would manage to get nearly three games into an hour time-span??? He got super upset that he couldn’t upsell us, and was audibly talking trash about my fiancée to female coworker with blonde hair. She was nothing but nice to us — the douchebag on the other hand had a stick inserted so far up his rear end that he couldn’t be bothered to help us. When it came time to go collect our score card as a memento for my little sisters first time bowling, he told us that the printer had a virus and they couldn’t print anything out. I’m just wondering what they’re going to tell people for Rock’N’Bowl? I have a feeling he was lying, because he couldn’t be bothered to do his damn job. Just know, asshole, one day you will be replaced by a robot and we, as paying customers who keep your establishment open and contribute to your paycheck will not have to deal with rude ass brats like yourself. Because of this, we will likely not be returning here to bowl ever again. I’d much rather take the $ 28 I spent and give it to Chuck E. Cheese, where we atleast won’t be shit-talked by the employees, and where my little sister will actually get to bring home a memory of her good time. Super disappointing experience, overall. Wouldn’t come here if your looking for decent customer service, or a score card.

After watching the Big Lebowski for the millionth time, my husband and I were in the mood to go bowling. Unilocal said this place was nearby and open on a Sunday so we headed out. Place looks like new, very clean, doesn’t have that musty smell of old cigarettes that is present at most alleys that have been around for a bit. Noticed that some of the lanes have couches instead of a table and chairs — will definitely find out how to reserve one of those lanes for next time. You’re able to order food from their full restaurant menu as well as from the smaller diner-style place they have. Beer was reasonably priced. We ordered the bacon cheddar fries and a pizza. Pretty decent food. Nothing stellar, but good for a bowling alley. Waitress was on the slower side but we were taking our time enjoying our games so it wasn’t a problem. Bathrooms were very clean. There is also a casino upstairs that we did not visit. Perhaps worth investigating next time we’re there. Overall, we had a great time and will be returning for sure!

Yay! I’m a fan! So I had to go to Silverdale for work for a week and I didn’t land upon this gem until the last night I was there! I’m from Hawaii so I don’t get to play blackjack unless I’m in Vegas. I was surprised that there was a casino in Silverdale! No slot machines but all the card games like Blackjack, pai gow, three card poker. I was in blackjack heaven! They had the doubledeck blackjack with a minimum $ 5 bet, perfect! So the bowling alley and eatery is downstairs, you catch the elevator to the 2nd floor for the casino. The dealers here were all so friendly! If you go to the change cashier, you can get $ 15 in free play with every visit by just giving your name. You get three $ 5 coupons that you can use as «match play» for black jack or whatever card game. Too bad I didn’t win but this is on my must do list the next time I’m in Silverdale! I didn’t eat here so I can’t comment on that.

Very clean and neat, food is always tasty. I come here with my client for special Olympics bowling and they’re always treated really well by staff and they always have a really good time. I like that it is a nice, clean bowling alley, a lot of them are pretty gross.

This Resturaunt has the worst service I have ever seen! Upon entry and taking a seat at the counter I was promptly asked if I wanted anything to drink. After I ordered a cup of coffee. I then made a big mistake! I said I wasn’t ready to order at this time. «TRAPT»! «I actually had a few things to care care of on my mobile device before I ate my lunch». That was my plan. I saw more employees on the floor than they had tables. «Well maybe only two or three were actual waitstaff and the rest were bussing tables». In witch there wasn’t any. The TV was more important obviously because they completely ignored me for the half hour that I sat at counter with an empty coffee cup under the dissolution I was going to get service. I say again! «ABSOLUTELYNOSERVICEFOROVER30MINUTES»! All I wanted was a fricken cobb salad? I got was the one cup of coffee when I sat down. So now I sit here over at IIHOP eating my lunch instead. I haven’t checked it out since they opened I guess I’m forced to now. I’ve got a thermos of coffee and my Cobb salad was a couple bucks cheaper. Thanks Dan. P. S. Personally I can’t stand the amount of fascism that’s involved in corporate America now days. All the more reason for a small business to step up to the plate. Show a little hometown hospitality. Instead living up to a stereo type that gives good reason to pass even stricter laws making it harder for local businesses to survive, yet cheaper and easier for convenience restaurants to move in with there convenient food for an idea of cheeper and faster product. I’m not asking for cheap or easy! I’m asking for the service we pay are money for. I’m not giving IIHOP a thumbs up today just you a thumbs down. But I’m at least I’m fed. Revised:(It’s months later. Haven’t been back there since. When I read this rant I posted after leaving there Resturaunt I realize how ridiculous I sound.)

Well, I’m 3 for 3 and not gonna get burned sgain. Went to Midas to get the brakes done and came here for breakfast. The 1st time here a year ago I had the special and my eggs were sunnyside up and hard as a rock, while the pancakes were raw in the middle. Last time I suggested it for an rv group breakfast and had the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage patties. Gravy was so thick it almost stuck to the plate and the patties were tasteless and hard as a hockey puck. McDonald’s does a much better job on their sausage. Today I had the chicken fried steak, easy over eggs, hash browns and sourdough toast. The eggs were cool and ran clear liquid, the hash browns were ok, but I think the cook(?) sprinkled sugar on them instead of salt and the steak was small, hot, crisp and smothered with lukewarm gravy which actually was pretty good. The toast, well the toast was blond, soft, cold and GREASY. Oh, and the coffee, while hot, was WEAK and I wasn’t offered a refill till I was almost ready to leave. Next time it’s Mickey Ds or Jack in the Box.

It’s been awhile since i’ve been back to All Star Lanes, so seeing the place revamped was awesome. My family had so much fun; the atmostphere was great and the service was wonderful! My neices and nephews can’t wait to go again for our Family Fun nights!

This place has great customer service! I went once before but felt as though I spent far too much on bowling for 2 people. I called to find out if they had any cheaper bowling times for my girlfriends birthday and told them I felt it was a pretty expensive venue in the evenings. The guy then offered to comp an afternoon of bowling for us. This was not what I wanted but it was so very appreciated. They really take care of their customers and have created a continued customer with us!

I went here for the ‘Rock and Bowl’ event with my friend. It was quite fantastic, and the lights were gorgeous, albeit distracting. Another distracting thing was the small arcade. There’s a variety of typical arcade games like Skeeball, Air Hockey, Basketball games, and claw machines. There’s also some cool newer games like Fruit Ninja, Doodle Jump, and Temple Run. One of the claw machines has stuffed toys, the other has those spiky bouncy balls about the size of a basketball. The latter is very easy to win prizes from, by the way. You earn tickets through a ‘FUN card’, which I personally find confusing after playing at Chuck E Cheese a lot when I was a kid, and they dispensed tickets instead of automatically recording them on your FUN card. Another complaint is that you can only choose from at least $ 10 to put on your card. I wanted to just put $ 5, but nope. So I took $ 10. The prize selection is pretty crummy, though. There’s your typical cheap candy and toys, and some bouncy balls, and those impossible prizes at 10000 tickets, such as iPod Touches and other electronics. It’s reasonably targeted towards younger kids, I guess. Back to the actual bowling, though. The lightest ball I saw was a 9-pounder, but I didn’t ask if there was a lighter ball, so there’s a chance they might have one if you want to go bowling with a younger kid. But, uh… well, there’s nothing much I can say about it– it’s your standard bowling alley that you would picture in your head. I don’t know about the casino, I didn’t go there. All in all, if you want to go bowling with your friends and family, this is a good place to go if you live nearby. This is also probably a good place for birthday parties, which they do have.

All Star LAMES. I recently had the misfortune of eating breakfast here. It was quite possibly the worst meal of my life. The omelette was simply gross. The chorizo was suspect. The eggs were«blah.» And the green slop on top… What I can only assume to be chile verde sauce, straight from the can. The greasy, stringy hash browns served on the side were sadly the best part of the meal. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I want my money back. Do yourself, your wallet, and your taste buds a favor… skip this joint. Life is too short for terrible food.

When you just need straightforward American food, fast fresh cheap — Head over to All Star Lanes. Simple food prepared well in a clean kitchen, very friendly service, nice quiet place with no frills. Great specials, for example pulled-pork sandwich with soup for SIXBUCKS! Great spot for tanking up before big shopping day in S-dale or for grabbing a big breakfast super early before heading out on a busy driving day, SEATAC, etc. We used to stop in when we were building our house and would brace ourselves with some good ol comfort food before a monster trip to Home Depot. If you have not been, drop any expectation of frills or pretense and just get the good standard fare in your belly!

Hmm what can I say about All Star Lanes? I have been going here for all my life and I still love it. I went here in November with my parents and had a great time. One night I went here was the best but I did black out so make sure to ask Samantha the bartender what happened… Then let me know, Thank You. PS Don’t do Shots with Big John!

Went there while visiting the area to grab breakfast. Pretty decent breakfast, good prices, quick service and a good strong Jack and Coke to start the day off right. Those at the bar gave it a very Cheers-like feel. «Where everybody knows your name». But I suppose that is any bar @ 10AM on a Sunday. I don’t bowl, so the bar was as far as I made it, and that’s fine by me.

It’s a bowling alley, in the classic sense. There’s no new-fangled fanciness. It’s not ultra ghetto. It’s just a straight up 80’s style bowling alley with a classic restaurant, a dark lounge, and a casino up top. The guy running the front counter was ultra nice and very helpful. He’s warranting the majority of these 4 stars. Otherwise the shoes, balls, computers, lanes, and everything else were totally adequate. The lounge offers a decent selection of beers(Mac n Jack on tap) and is one of those dark, seedy-looking bowling alley lounges. At 3pm on a Monday, there were more people drinking in the lounge than there were bowling, so I’m guessing that there be some regulars up in this joint. The restaurant serves up egregiously overpriced fried appetizers with a the friendliness of a mama bear recently separated from her cubs. But that’s neither here nor there. You’re not coming to the All Star Lanes for a culinary adventure. You’re here to bowl. Because hey… that’s how you roll.

This is a decent place to bowl. The prices are absolutely ridiculously low! I swear, my husband and I bowled for well over an hour with shoe rentals, and we paid $ 20. After bowling in joints like Lucky Strikes, this place is decent. Don’t expect the maharajah of bowling, but a quaint, older style bowling alley. I like their drinks service, because it’s quick and inexpensive. I’ll probably be back for another night of bowling with friends.
