Not at all what I expected! But, yummy and cool options!

For a hospital cafeteria, this place is amazing. Honestly a little less so since the «affiliation,» but still pretty great. If you can catch the «Nite Bite» when Jason is cooking, you’re in luck. José is another favorite. As long as the ingredients you desire are found in a menu item, they are able make it for you. My only gripe is that they close at 7p… In a hospital! Nine PM seems like it would be far better and easier to be able to catch a meal more frequently. Sunday — Thursday, they reopen for a couple of hours in the middle of the night to feed the employees on a vampire schedule and those who have better taste than Shari’s.

Ok so I’ve never gone here specifically for dinner but I will say that during my 2 hospital stays for the births of my daughters I was so impressed by the food! The French toast was AMAZING. So good! Come to think of it, I really should go back for breakfast one day, it’s so much more affordable than the pancake house. This is not your typical hospital food.

We just had these guys cater our company Christmas party. EXCELLENT! They were wonderful to work with and the selection on their menu was the BEST out of all the caterers we looked at. I highly recommend!

I come here every once in awhile after my doctor appointments. Ok… I come here after practically every Dr. Appointment because I’m pregnant. So I’m here often. I am NOT a big hospital food fan, but the grill is like a little restaurant. Food comes out quickly and fresh and it never disappoints. I mostly aim for the French dip with fries. So good! The fries are ALWAYS hot and crispy. The sandwich is delicious.
I’m having my baby here soon and I’m looking forward to my first meal. :)
I’ve also been to a chipmunk grill catered party… AMAZING food. I recommend their catering to everyone.

We were at the hospital while waiting for the new grandson to arrive. Yesterday we had breakfast here and we were very happy with it. Tasty and nice sized portions, but not too large. The wife had two eggs soft scrambled, crisp hash browns and perfectly cooked bacon. The granddaughter, 3, had the little pancakes and the were cooked right. I had biscuits and gravy, sausage and two eggs over easy and it was done right and all on hot plates. Today, I wanted Hopjacks for lunch, but the wife said we should try lunch here since breakfast was so good. OOPpss, big mistake… my cheese steak had under cooked peppers, minimum cheese, big think slabs of roastbeef. We all orders of their fries which were cold. The wife had the French dip and it was tasteless, dry sliced beef on a cold roll and she had to go get her au jus which they forgot and it was so salty it was inedible. The granddaughter had a child’s toasted cheese that I wouldn’t touch.½ a slice of bread with a skinny piece of cheese.
Durn, I wish we had gone to Hopjacks after all.
Oh, and there some other folks that looked as if they had gone somewhere else too.

Location: Ground Floor of the Silverdale Hospital. Plenty of parking!
Service: This is a café style place, staff is friendly, facitlity is clean.
Food: Not your average hospital cafeteria, Daily Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner specials. Build your own sandwich and burger. Nice sized portions. They have the refergorated stand with pre-​made salads and sandwiches. But everything else is made to order. There can be a wait around noon, but otherwise pretty prompt. And it has a coffee shop in there as well.

This is really weird to say, but I was completely blown away by this humble hospital cafeteria. Brunch was a couple of hours ago but I am still trying to digest (pun intended) the fact that we had one OUTSTANDING meal for two for under twenty bucks.
Yes, you read that right. So much delicious and wonderfully prepared food for under twenty bucks.

Very good breakfast! Cafeteria style eating but don’t let that deter you from trying it out, the food was ya very good and in expensive.

For the price, the food is good. Usually timely preparation. No wait staff. Reminds me of high school lunch room just better food.

The food is fantastic! The staff here are friendly and helpful too. They have an amazing selection and variety of foods. I’m a very picky eater and I easily found stuff I loved. The prices are very fair and they deliver to the hospital rooms too.

Love this place! Makes going to doctor appointments a lot better knowing I can get my chicken strips and chai tea afterwards! The service is great. The guy that works there is always so nice.

I am very surprised. The quality of the food at this place has gone down. I disappointed and some of the favorites. Who ever made change the menu needs to change back
The quality went down, what happen?. sadly. I cannot recommend this place anymore. The hash browns was cold and fake, the French toast was bland.

Got here just for the food, it’s ok!
It’s the best food in Silverdale for the price.
It’s perfect for a family because it’s calm enough to be able to relax be casual enough to not worry if our kid is loud.

Ok people, gather ’round. It’s time for a reality check.
First off… yes, this place is inside a hospital.
2^nd…yes, it is the cafeteria.
3^rd…(and most importantly) IT IS JUST A CAFETERIA!
The quality of the food is less than you would find in most diners. The reviews that led us here raved about the food quality and reasonable prices. I disagree on both counts. The halibut burger was a round, pre-​processed circle of fish that frankly, could have been any kind of fish because it had no distinct flavor. The onion rings looked & tasted homemade but were nearly cold. The chop chop salad was far from worth $ 5 for the half portion.
If you work at Harrison Silverdale, are a patient or a visitor you may find the dining experience adequate.
I am not saying run from this place but I am suggesting that you think twice before you make it a destination.

Pay no attention to that old saying «Hospital food is gross» when it comes to the Chipmunk Café! This is one place that I love going to. Once you get passed the whole thing about it being in a hospital, where there may be sick people (I don’t know, could be.) this place is really nice. The décor and atmosphere is very calming and they even have cute little chipmunk designs on their walls! The food portions are pretty good and all of it it tasty. I had just the regular platter of breakfast foods and my boyfriend had a burger and fries. There’s a very wide range of choices though! Do yourself a favor and try it out! I’ve heard many things about this place, even about a couple coming all the way from Oregon just because of the Chipmunk Café.

This place is a great place to get a breakfast or lunch in Silverdale. Many people do come in to the hospital just to eat at this little café.
The last time I was there, there were a bunch of state patrol officers eating breakfast while having a meeting. That is a good sign the food is good, and it is.

Yes this is a review for a restaurant located in a hospital. I’ve never had to come here for anything other than this restaurant.
We happened here for the first time years ago when my boyfriend’s sister needed a ride. We were hungry and noticed the little café here and decided to try it out while waiting for his sister to be finished with an appointment.
Upon our surprise, this place is really very good! Even for a hospital! I absolutely love their macaroni cheese & ham bake, it’s just such good comfort food. And I love their albacore tuna melts as well. The prices are great too! Anywhere from $ 5-​$ 10, nothing over that!
It’s strange to go into a hospital just for food, but if it’s really good food, it’s totally worth it! I doubt many people know of it’s existance. Well, now you know.
