Clarissa is a gem. I have had many people cut my natural curly hair and have been alright with the results. Not knowing the difference between someone who KNOWS how to cut curly hair and someone who THINKS they can, I have had some really interesting cuts and foils done in the most extreme way, not good either. Clarissa knows what she is doing. Cuts my curly hair dry and shapes it without cutting off inches. Always looking out for the best for my hair, suggests products without pushing them down my throat. I recently had her foil my hair and do a Diva cut and I have received so many compliments on my hair it was almost embarrassing because I’m not used to the attention. I recommend Clarissa for all types of hair but she is a genius with curly hair.

If you think you know how to properly care for your curls, you might be wrong. I tried almost any and every method you could think of. Clarissa was very informative about each step of the process. My hair is now curled with out friz. I couldn’t be happier. I’d definitely recommend going here.

Clarissa is a magician! I went in with a poofy, frizzy, graying mop and came out with smooth, curly manageable curls. She took the time to educate me about how to care for my curls… a dry cut, fun foils and really good products helped me re-​create her style at home. I saw Clarissa and got the DevaCut today, where she goes step by step what to do with curly hair and what product to use. Super impressed!

As good as it gets is accurate! Mandy is the best hair professional you will ever see. She always listens carefully to what I am going for, and when I am not sure she always has the perfect suggestion. Truly talented. So fun to visit with (super funny too) She is the best!!!

I am writing this review for my sister who was seen by Clarissa. I searched for a place that had a curly hair specialist and this place popped up. My sis was skeptical but at this point she was in desperate need of a cut and being as picky as she is she would rather go without getting a trim than get a hair cut by someone who says they know how to deal with her hair type and then screw it up. We were so lucky when we found her, we hit the jackpot. Clarissa knows what she was doing and my sis is really happy, she looks absolutely gorgeous! Of course she was before the hair cut but she needed help on taming her crazy curls. My sister’s hair is very long, thick, and nappy and you cannot treat it the same as you would «white girl hair». I saw Clarissa today and she was so awesome! Not only was she super honest and nice, she cut my hair perfectly! She showed me how to style my hair properly and gave me some great tips. I’m so happy I found someone who can cut curly hair. I no longer have to have constant «bed head». My hair was seriously a total wreck before I saw Clarissa today.
Oh and they are also super kid friendly, I brought in my 6 month old and it was totally fine.

Living in a small town, good hair salons are hard to come by. I am proud to say that Salon Paradiso is most definitely worth your time! I have been going here for years now & even had my hair done by Dawn Marie & Clarissa back when they were at Ronaldo & Company. I believe my first experience with them was when I was 14 & I am now 22. The staff is awesome & honest. My go-​to hair lady the past few years has been Clarissa so I gave her a call today to set up an appointment. As luck would have it she had an opening the same day! My hair was in all kinds of disrepair & I needed it to be fixed desperately. Clarissa always gives it to me straight which I love. I do not want a hair stylist to tell me my hair looks good when it doesn’t & I do not want one that tries to make me spend more money doing something I do not need to be done. It took a few hours since my hair is pretty problematic but at the end I was happy with the results. Clarissa never disappoints! It cost me $ 98.00 for an all over color. The cost depends really on how many times they have to re-​mix/​how long your hair is. They are stocked with a plethora of magazines which is helpful during those down times under the dryer. Everyone makes conversation & it’s just a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Salon Paradiso! You will not regret going here!
