Sleep Train Mattress Centers

Mattress shopping on memorial day weekend! Steve walked us around and had us try out 6 different mattresses based on what we were looking for. He helped my husband and I compromise and showed us mattresses that would be more firm for my husband’s back but also plush for me. He was very informative on how the mattress is built and what makes them different from each other. Steve was also very conscious of price and recognized that we are a young couple and is getting us the best deal today. Yay for our new mattress!

So, let me tell you this story. It is called 5 mattresses or How I didnt get a good night’s sleep.
In 2011 I wanted to buy a new bed.
Searched around and went to Sleep Train. (Sleep Country)
Picked out a bed and frame. I was happy. 2 years later, sags ALL over the bed. BACK ACHES! UGH.
Called and emailed. No result. Wrote to them on FB. Whamo! Got new mattress.
(***NOTE***) THIS mattress did not have ANY factory tags on it. No brand name label nothing. RED FLAG. That is when I called Customer Service. When I was told by 2 Customer Service people, my bed was USED REFURBISHED!!!
I did not ask to buy a USED bed. I paid the price for a NEW one.
The CSM assisted me and I got mattress #2. Same thing. What was the deal? Next xame mattress number 3. Same thing. This was even a different make. They gave it to me because the original was no longer being made. Ah, but yes, this mattress as well had problems.
Next came #4.
Finally we went to a gel infused memory foam.
Went to a different location and the same person waited on me.
Sales person sold me ANOTHER USED BED… Wow! called CSM raised a big stink. I said it was fraud. I wanted my money back.
Okay, had to go through holy hell to get that.
CSM okayed it. I was told it was sent out, but I tried to track it because I made them send it FED EX overnight. They messed with me. Said it was sent out when it wasnt. CS call center people were RUDE and tried to make it seem as I was lying. No help.
Finally, I got a CSR who did their job. Told CSM again about employee’s being rude.
Next day «someone» actually did their job. I sent the tracking info to the CSM to show him, see, I was right.
I would not buy a pillow from this place. Do your research.
Months later same thing.
********* I would like to add, that I was contacted by a CSR Mgr, As there is a reply below. I was surprised to see that they wrote a reply! I spoke with this gentleman. He was genuine. So, I give Sleep train big points. Hopefully they are now alerted, and will have training and let employees know how to treat people and let customers be their own advocates!

Totally unaware of what type of bed we needed… But now we know! Such wonderful help and knowledge! Thankful that we are getting something that will be comfortable! No more crocodile spins for me!

Great customer service. Very friendly and were not pushy on the sale. Also helpful and knowledgeable.

On vacation and stopped to get a coffee. Needing to kill a few minutes and knowing I would buy a bed «eventually», I stopped into Sleep Train to just look. Roger helped me find the perfect bed. I had no idea that he would not only give me such a great deal, but he even shipped it to me in California! Who buys a bed while on vacation? All I can say, is that I’m glad I did. I have slept so great on my new bed and I know it is because Roger took the time to really help me find a bed that would really help me feel better (something I thought was impossible).

They helped me find exactly what I was looking for for the right price. I’m very satisfied and excited for my new bed. They also have free same day delivery if you place an order before 2pm. I recommend this place.

Did not try and sell us something we did not need, and answered all questions with honesty!

Once upon a time I swore that I would never co sleep with my child. That of course changed once I became a mother. Eventually my daughter started removing her diaper at night and waking up in a pee soaked spot.

Let me cut to the chase: We desperately needed a new mattress.
