I cringe when I have to come to this location. The staff isn’t very welcoming, nor are they versed on customer service skills. Recently when I went in, I proceeded to order items and the guy would list being out of something to make it. I would then pick something else same story new missing item, he would then ask me if it was okay? Like we don’t have berries for your smoothie, or yogurt is that okay? No… He seemed perplexed that after telling me three different things were not going to be able to be made today. Three totally different things. he seemed perplexed that I would be in any way shape or form upset. I had to wait in the drive thru line leave, and I’ve tried not to go back. we all know coffee is addicting. There aren’t many drive through Starbucks in the area so this is my option. The one in Bremerton isn’t that good either. at the NEX they’re great. Or in the Safeway.

Been there for a while. Never been bad service. Can be dirty if busy. Hard to move in when busy.

This Starbucks is the closest to my house and the first one I’ve ever been to in Silverdale. I’m actually a regular at this store. I’ll admit my first few visits have not been pleasing. The staff were not at all friendly. No greetings. Customer-employee interaction felt robotic. They wait for you to say your order, they tell you the price, you pay, they make your drink, and serve it. Rinse and repeat. Their customer service was extremely poor. It felt as if the customers were supposed to be the ones to please the employees. They didn’t offer any greetings. No smiles. Just stuck up attitudes. One time a friend and I came in, tumblers in tow, and both the employees forgot to give us our $ 0.10 discount. When I noticed and pointed out the error, they were insincerely apologetic and outwardly inconvenienced for having to re-ring our order. They responded to the dilemma with attitude, forced smiles, and unapologetic tones. Their frustration became apparent through their body language, excessive noise when remaking coffee, and exaggerated tears of receipts from the register. It felt purposefully blatant. Don’t get me wrong, they make good standard Starbucks coffee, it’s probably the only reason I come back. Oh and of course, the distance. This location would be perfect if the employees worked on their customer service skills and their attitudes. Of course, its not always the same for everyone in the staff. There are some baristas who are very friendly, helpful, and professional. So basically, the customer service is a hit-and/or-miss in this location. The store’s layout, design, and overall atmosphere is all right. There are comfy lounge chairs. Free WiFi is offered. The room is spacious; the wall décor could be spruced up with more colorful, coffee-related art, but they change it up whenever there’s a special occasion. Right now, they have photographs of different aircraft on the wall that was for Veteran’s Day. The whole Christmas holiday theme is in full effect now though, so the place is a little brighter. All in all, it’s a fairly good place to relax. I could probably stay there all day studying, working, or reading. However, certain areas could be cleaned up a bit more. A couple of times I visited, the trash was full, there were sticky spots on the floor, and there was no toilet paper left in the ladies’ room. However, more than anything else, the staff’s attitudes have been the only deterrent to my fully enjoying this Starbucks location.

I’ve been to about five different Starbucks locations… maybe six or seven… between two different states. The two in Silverdale are very pleasant to go to compared to other rush and push them out locations. I waver between the two depending on the week or month due to the fact some times the drinks just taste better at one location or the other. Unfortunately hit or miss. I don’t see them here much any more, but my fave girls were Linzee, Jessica, and Rachel. They always have a positive attitude and fun to talk to. Their jabber between each other was also entertaining and never inappropriate. It was as if they understood they were being watched all the time by their customers and were very professional on keeping gossip for elsewhere. The baristas are now okay and are attentive to your order, but just a different feel. Drinks as I said are most of the time tasty. Recently I’ve noticed a slight burnt taste to my coffee. Early morning(and I mean early) is the best time to order. I change my drink constantly so I can’t expect them to remember what I order altho normally it has caramel in it or I order the Cotton Candy Frappuccino. Family also buys food here as well. I was addicted to their Ceasar Salad for awhile then as in other places the salad is just wilty. Sis likes their sandwiches and protein packs and Mom loves their Savory Squares with spinach(we call them Spinach Puffs lol) Down side is they do close fairly early, but Silverdale is a small town so we can’t expect city work hours to be kept! Will return obviously for the infamous Starbucks addiction.

I’m a regular here! The baristas at this starbucks are very friendly, even though I see many new faces behind the counter more frequent. Salted caramel mocha is all I ever order. Darn them got me hooked! Now mind you I go to other ones in the area but the bucklin hill starbucks is my go to, quess it’s something about the service there deserves 5 stars. Ohhh… And the COFFEE;-)!!

I like this location better than the one on base. They never mess up my order and whenever I order an iced green tea latte, they take the extra mile to stir the matcha powder for me at the bottom of the cup instead of having me stir it up myself with clumps on the bottom.

I go to starbucks every day, I try to avoid this one because the staff is so unfriendly and stuck up! I would rather drive 15 miles out of the way than go to this location! I’ve never had to deal with such rude people! It’s even worse when I’m in uniform! Get a grip ladies…

I Do So like this Starbuck’s… A Real Seattle“Ish” feel in Silverdale. Has small tables for two, a Bench, a Big Almost Kitchen type table… And 4 very comfortable lounge/recliner type chairs. Always seems to be pretty clean, Well Lit, Nice set-up of knick-knacks to check out and Super Friendly People !! Bummer they Close at 8pm, but I guess most are gone from Silverdale by that hour.

My very favorite Starbucks here locally… today, I tried out their new artisan pretzels. Sorry, I wasn’t impressed :-/Sometimes when heating pretzels via microwave they tend to get tough… that may have been the issue.

This is the Starbucks inside the Safeway, and a big draw for coffe starved folks staying at the large hotel across the street. During my 5 night stay across the street, and 7 visits to this location, they got my drink order wrong all but 1 time. The staff seem unfamiliar with making the usual Starbucks fare.
