I’ve been to a lot of Dairy Queens, but never to one in Colorado. And let me tell you … the legalization of recreational marijuana is not helping this business at all. I think everyone working here was high.
My buddy and I went in for a simple order (two orders of fries, one shake and one soda). The cashier then proceeded to ring up loads of customers behind us without giving anyone a receipt or an order number. The end result was people BEHIND us getting served full value meals BEFORE us.
It’s as though they have no system for tracking orders here. When food comes up, the staff just walks around the dining room like zombies during an apocalypse hoping the corresponding customer is able to identify their order, even though it’s not complete.
In the end, we waited no less than 15 minutes to get something that should have taken 5 minutes, and I had to repeat my order 3 times.
Yeah, man. Right on.
But hey, at least it’s a Grill and Chill …
