Oh HolY God! Smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Need I say more? This place was fantastic. The hostess and waitress were both local, which means they were a bit nicer than the transplant kids. Very helpful and friendly.

Super friendly people with great food! We always stop in for the Enchiladas and eggs with pork green chili. It’s delicious and keeps us full all day on the slopes. It’s not fancy place but it’s clean and simple.

Great food and service. I have celiac disease and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was very good and good prices. Our waitress, Tracy, was awesome!

The wait staff is nice, but the food was gross. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you like a clean, or even tasty breakfast. My food was very greasy. I had an egg scramble, but none of the ingredients were actually scrambled, but rather just piled on top of each other in weird sections. We had to send back my friend’s plate. His turkey bacon tasted like it came for the bottom of a grease trap, and his pancakes were hard and ice cold. Very disappointing experience.

Very poor hostessing! We specifically called and asked if a party of eight could be seated, were told yes, arrived 10 mins later and were told it would be“a really long time’. Walked across the lit to Blue Moon where we were treated very nicely. The air is thin, and it must affect certain service workers brains. Rudeness, apathy, vapid looks, space cadet attitudes — everywhere at Keystone area. Over it. Screw you Sunshine Café!

Truthfully, the food isn’t good here. Friendly service, but not good food! Charged extra for fruit, and brought out a bowl of tiny squishy obviously frozen blueberries and banana. All of our toast was burnt black, but brought to the table anyway. Ordered over easy, got scrambled. My pancakes tasted like some kind of kitchen appliance grease was used to cook them, didn’t eat em. The rest of the food was just ok at best! There’s too many good places to have breakfast than to waste your money on this below diner quality food. Try the Blue Moon Café in the same parking lot. It looked and smelled much better, but we opted out because it was too busy.

Stopped in on our way back to Denver from Steamboat for a quick bite for lunch. I ordered the philly sandwich, and our group also ordered a burger and chicken fried steak — all were filling and worth the price. I also ordered a chai tea that came in it’s own caraffe. Wait staff was friendly and on point.

This spot has been recommended to me multiple times and I finally made it here. It gets really busy in here, but it’s well worth the wait. The service was quick and friendly. I had the Huevos Rancheros which were delicious! Make sure you get the avocado, sour cream, and salsa on the side!

Service rushes you. Why ask how is everything when I haven’t even tried it yet? The scrambled eggs were raw and runny. The hash browns dry and way over cooked. They use oil instead of butter to cook everything which makes it taste bland. I feel sorry they make all the mexicans work in back sweating. They make all the girls were skirts but most of them are ugly so what’s the point. I’ll drive an extra mile down the road and try another place next time. Good thing they serve alcohol at breakfast!!! I didn’t send my food back but several other people did while I was there. They just put it in the microwave in front of everyone. They also cook the bacon before they even open then let it sit out at room temperature all day which is illegal and unsafe.

Food was pretty typical of a brunch place, the hash browns and ham were good. Only issue we had was the amount of cheese sauce on the dish, probably at least ½ cup that I scraped off, and there was still pleanty left on the plate for the dish. We’ll probably visit a different brunch place next time we are in town.

Ordered huevos rancheros with sunnyside up eggs. The eggs came to my table RAW. Manager comped my meal, but told me to order a different type of egg next time. Horrible service

Everything on the menu looked good, and we sat at the bar so we saw lots of dishes coming out. I ordered the Belgian waffle and scrambled eggs and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Everything was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely return next time we ar in the area. Need to try the oven cakes, they looked so good!

Ugh. Never again. This place used to be so good in the old days and it’s gone down a serious hill. Food was greasy(I had the blue river special at breakfast) and it wasn’t that tasty at all. The green chili on my husband’s plate didn’t look like it had any pork in it at all and was a measly little dollop. I remember when it would dribble off the side of the plate and it was the best green chili ever. No more. Sorry, Sunshine, I will go to McDonald’s for a breakfast sandwich before I come here again.

@sunshinecafe_co Quick service despite being filled to capacity with families and tourists and locals. The side of bacon was hearty with many pieces of crisp delicious bacony goodness to devour. Despite being in a strip mall, the Sunshine Café delivers the goods. As a biscuits and gravy authority, I had to try it. It is my duty. It was pretty good, better than the average B&G at most places. The coffee was average. The waitress was super nice and very attentive to my needs from beverage refills to more napkin requests to providing the check in a timely manner. She was informative in answering my questions about local to-dos. I enjoy patronizing local businesses. It is my main theme whilst traveling. I try to avoid chain restaurants at all costs. I support local business wherever I go. Sunshine Café is truly a small mountain café with altitude! I recommend giving it a try whilst in the Silverthorne area. You’ll be glad you did.

You would imagine that a place with a line a reported local hot spot would have a meal to write home about. but not exactly. So the good: — they have really fast service — menu with a super wide range of options — really friendly and fun servers that catch onto jokes and make sure everything is going okay The bad: — the food — its merely average among diner food. You would think being in Colorado you would get a unique dining experience. At least the berries/trout and etc. would be freshish — the lines… yes there are lines…30 minutes ish… on a Sunday at around 10AM — CRAZY

I’ve been coming to Silverthorne for 20 years and this is the first time I have eaten at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The food isn’t fancy but very flavorful. Perfect place to stop before hitting the slopes or a mountain hike.
