Best breakfast around keystone! Kids love the«facecakes»… Burrito is awesome! Great service!!!

Staff coughed on hand then proceeded to sit next to me and handle each and every clean peice of silverware for the entire place. Touched every single knife, fork and spoon and each napkin while rolling silverware. Don’t bother to wash your hands after doing that right in front of everyone? Seriously? OK for breakfast but staff really ignorant especially the«non-local staff» we’ll call them. Fast but they put my giant order of chicken fried steak, eggs, hashbrowns, and bread all on one tiny small plate with the steak on top of the eggs and everything on top of the hasbrowns. It made it nasty. Why not get bigger plates or serve it on two? The steak gets soggy when it is on top of other food. It’s a real hassle to get here from Keystone. You have to deal with all the idiots around I-70 who don’t know how traffic lights work and will pull out into oncoming traffic and just stop. Lots of idiots from Denver around this area. Staff makes comments about customers in front of whole dining room. Really professional.

Crowded but worth the wait. Food is delicious. Multigrain pancakes are outstanding. We stop here every year we come to Frisco.

Went there for lunch today. Do not go there if you are really hungry. … there were a couple of empty tables but they still made us wait for 10 minutes before sitting us. There is no“simple” burger on the menu, so my husband ordered a cheeseburger without cheese. … guess what, it was served as a cheeseburger, so he had to scrape the cheese off and the waitress didn’t even apologize for messing up his order. I went for their mushroom, onion(grilled onion … I confirmed with the waitress) ‘n swiss burger. Guess what, there were 2 pieces of mushrooms and raw onions on the burger. Plus the burger was dry as a hockey puck, not that I know what that tastes like … pretty much inedible. I got sick on my stomach half an hour after leaving the restaurant from their food. Stay away from the place!

THISADDRESSISWRONG!!! The address listed on Unilocal takes you half a mile away to somewhere completely different. Let me know when you fix this address and I’ll change my review. The food was great.

Great restaurant! Quick turn over for Saturday morning brunch(we waited 15 minutes at 10:30am), friendly wait staff, and great food! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant– the blinds and shelves between the tables were really dusty– tables themselves were very clean, just needs a little TLC!

Always have liked this place but not loved it. Enormous portions. Not exactly Best quality but who would expect that for the great prices? I feel like the place could use a good remodel. Or cleaning. Staff seems harried all of the time. Hard to find parking when it’s really busy.

Yummy yummy yummy! Had the chili eggs and hubs had the turkey avocado Sammy. Very friendly and super quick service. Parking lot us also pretty large and wait was only 10 minutes when they were super packed. We will definitely be back!

Darn good breakfast before heading back to the city. There’s for sure a wait on the weekends and the patio area is open seating. It ratty tatty looking inside and out, but who cares, the food is good and the service is good. Eat and leave. Food comes out hot and fast once your order has been taken. The potatoes are deep fried, not used to that for a breakfast plate but it all worked out. It’s like french fries for breakfast and that’s cool too. Biscuits and gravy were good — notice I’ve been on a b&g kick lately? Looking for that great gravy, but nothing compares to what my hubby dishes out. Yummmmm. Portions are huge, greasy, and filling, give them a whirl.

Had a great breakfast here. Very busy place to grab breakfast/lunch but the wait wasn’t overly long. Definitely recommend an omelette.

Really disappointing meal and experience here. More appropriate name would be Truck Stop Café. We both ordered veggie omelettes. They were topped with a slice of rubbery cheese, wrapped around chopped veggies and totally tasteless. Potatoes were overcooked. The entire place is coated in a layer of dust and the bathrooms are filthy. Waitresses are annoyed you are there bothering them and can’t wait to get you out the door.

Yay for a good greasy spoon in a mountain town where chains reign. Mountain Lyon is a café that the locals go to and the people pretending to be local flock to. Guess which category I fall into? My most recent venture here was on a beautiful summer day and the patio is a first come first serve basis so while everyone else was standing around the boy and I saddled up to an open table and plopped down to peruse our menu. Service was prompt and the waitress took our order. I couldn’t believe how fast the food came back out of the kitchen. Eggs cooked right, shredded crispy hashbrowns, yummy bacon. It was exactly what you expect this place to turn out of the kitchen. A good basic breakfast! After your finish, saddle up to the register and settle up and vacate your table for the next hungry folks waiting for their turn!

This place is the best! We were looking for a breakfast place to go to after church and saw this place. After checking the reviews, we decided this was it. We’re so glad we stopped. This is my dream diner. They had everything I could possibly want for breakfast and more. Every town should have a place like this. It took forever for me to decide what to order. I finally decided on the Denver omelette with potatoes O’Brien and pancakes. All that for $ 8.95. How do they do it? Their prices are incredible. My husband got the Mile High Omelette with toast and hash browns. They give you so many choices. I love that you can get hash browns or potatoes O’Brien and toast or pancakes. They really aim to please. Both of our potatoes were cooked crispy to perfection. We were both happy campers. We had so much food we couldn’t finish eating it. This is the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. And our waitress was both friendly and attentive. I can’t recommend this place more. If you’re ever in Silverthorne, you must stop here. I don’t think you could make a wrong choice here.

Without question Mountain Lyon Café is my new little down home Silverton country hangout! Chicken fried steak and eggs smothered in homemade green chili, but the green chili has brownish gravy spin on it and it’s AMAZING!!! They don’t only offer breakfast on the menu and I’m pretty sure no matter what you order you’ll be happy with your choice! YUMMY!

Ultimate b’fast skillet with green chile and cheese sauce… delicious! My friend’s biscuits & gravy with sausage and eggs was a winner, too. We enjoyed our big breakfast and the retro/1940’s cabin vibe. The friendly, quick service and reasonable prices make this another fabulous Unilocal vacation winner!

A nice local stop for a great breakfast. Keeping it simple here with nailing your basic breakfast requests. We have actually been here quite a few times & have never been let down. I had the biscuit platter with 2 eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast. Zero complaints or issues. Server was delightful & on point. Always a good stop for breakfast, haven’t tried lunch or dinner.

Absolutely horrible! I honestly do not understand why people like this place. I gave it three tries and all three times it was disgusting. The place is not clean. It feels grungy and like the floor has never been vacuumed. It smells stale and the water taste like it came straight out of the toilet bowl. The food was not good any of the three times I went. If you want a good breakfast, try the Sunshine Café or the A-Café. Much much better than this place.

Wonderful local dining option at Silverthorne exit– we stopped here to grab a bite while passing by toward Target to pick up groceries on the way to Keystone. I had a delicious«Adult Grilled Cheese» with bacon and tomato– the bacon was crispy, cheese was gooey, wheat bread was grilled and buttery. I got the soup du jour for my side, chicken and corn tortilla, which was a flavorful broth based soup with shredded cheese and tortilla strips on top. Big portions and great value for the price… I saved half of my grilled cheese for lunch the next day. Small casual-style dining area with a handful of booths and counter seats. Server was friendly and prompt. Definitely worth stopping here when heading to Keystone, dropping by the nearby Target, or on your way back to the city.

We absolutely loved this place! We stopped in 1÷8÷15 before making our way back to Denver. Now I think we are both ready for a nap. I ordered the ultimate skillet with country gravy and it was amazing! So much delicious food! The home Fries were great, it was topped with eggs, cheese, onions, bacon, cheese, and smothered in country gravy! My guy ordered the chicken fried steak and kept saying how good it was! I’m glad we don’t live closer or we’d eat here all of the time and we’d be huge! If you love a good mom and pop shop, this is your place. We love to support small/local Businesses. We’ll Definitely be back next time we are in the mountains!
