We just had our wedding here 5 months ago, and our only hiccup was that the staff completely over-promised and under-delivered on the big day. We booked the venue well over a year in advance and throughout that time our point of contact(Rob D.) did a great job of staying in touch and following up. When we met about 2 months out, he reassured us that anything involving the Pavilion would work out exactly as we talked about because he was going to be there to ensure that everything was running smoothly. THISDIDNOTHAPPEN. Apparently the day we had our wedding, was his ‘day off’ so he put another pavilion rep in charge of our wedding. He did this without giving us a heads up, which isn’t a big deal to us, but still is a tad unprofessional. We rolled with it without worry, because the new guy(Chris D.) seemed really laid back and on top of things. When it came time for the reception and dance, the lighting pre-sets were not what we had previously discussed. Turns out, our point of contact(Chris D.) decided to leave early. He left another guy,(also named Chris) whom we’d never met, to handle anything we needed. This would’ve been fine if this other guy actually knew how to work the lights. He was great though, it was obvious he did the best he could. Our family really appreciated his efforts when it came time to clean up and leave. Overall, it was a good experience. I was just slightly disappointed in the staff when it came to show time.

Attended a gorgeous wedding here 8÷31÷2014. This venue is a great venue. Spacious dance floor and eating place. The food was great! Bar is separate and the actual wedding scenery was great.

We used the Silverthorne Pavilion for our October 2013 wedding. We booked them over a year in advance. We loved the balcony and the space inside, along with the walking bridge and outside ceremony site. It has getting ready rooms and is just a gorgeous space! Rob was fantastic to work with. We viewed the venue, booked it, and then planned everything else from Maryland. Rob answered all of my questions via Email and was quick! The only downsides — the chairs are ugly so we had to buy chair covers, and you have to rent chairs for an outside ceremony, which can get pricey. We also had to have our rehearsal at 11 in the morning due to another event that Friday, and we couldn’t go inside, but we planned our ceremony for outside anyways. They are very affordable compared to other venues. The only down side is that a catering company holds their liquor license so you can’t bring in your own liquor. The staff answered all of our questions and were great to work with!
