This probably has to be my least favorite«build your own» pizza place. I hate to say it, but I think the reviews are deceiving. First off, the pizza dough does not hold well with lots of toppings. I find that at other places, I can load up on toppings and the pizza dough holds perfectly fine, but this place it just falls apart. Secondly, I ordered the crepes, and it tasted rubbery. Again, one of the least favorite crepes I’ve ever had. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up on crepes, but they sure proved it. They also have salads and gelato there. The one thing they have right there is their customer service. The gentleman helping me was patient and really friendly. This place is located in the Simi Valley Town Center by AT&T and Firehouse Subs. There’s plenty of parking.

This place is been open for seven months and has a super friendly staff. I was a little bit put off by the dusty light fixtures and the overall cleanliness, but they do have an A rating. I saw a few people get custom pizzas that looked amazing. Generous toppings and loads of options. All very fresh looking too. I ordered a Crêpe and was disappointed with the overall flavor — it was very bland. I assume this is because the same mix is used for both sweet or savory crêpes. It was nothing special. That said, if I would’ve added all the different toppings perhaps it would’ve been exquisite. If you are going for a simple plain butter and sugar crêpe, I would recommend choosing something else off the menu.

I like that this place is different, the crepes are a great addition and I have tried the three main crepes on the menu. I like to go here for lunch. Also there is gelato as well. I think the pricing is pretty good, maybe a tick higher than I would like to see. The dining area is a spacious open place. I have not had the pizza yet, so I cannot comment on that. Staff was friendly and the food is prepared quickly. My concern is that these pizza shops for making your own pizza are popping up so fast on every corner, I hope it does not cause a longevity problem for any of them.

So glad Cre8 opened up near my work. I go there all the time now for lunch. I love the concept… load up as many toppings as you’d like, all of which are prepared well and taste great. The size is pretty substantial too, especially for the price. For about 8 bucks, you get a delicious customized medium-sized pizza fresh out of the oven in a matter of minutes. The gelato is fantastic too… unique and tasty flavors. What stands out the most though(even more so than the great food) is the clear desire by the ownership to honor God. Not only is scripture up on the walls, but it’s apparent that the ownership treats the employees very well… because the workers are always very pleasant and desiring to bless the customers in any way they can.

Very good pizza. Crust is not too thin nor too thick. I also had the mint chocolate chip gelato which was delicious. Plenty of parking and good service.

This is mine, and my husbands second time to Cre8, we both really like it. You can create your own pizza and salad, and they also have gelato and crepes. I cannot eat gluten and though a lot of places now have gluten free pizzas, they are always over priced and I don’t have many toppings to choose from. Here they have gluten free dough and so many toppings to choose from, however I’d recommend to limit your topping so that the middle doesn’t end up too heavy.

Liked the idea of create your own, but I’m not a pizza lover. luckily they have salads and crepes. However, ‘cre8’ only applies to the pizza. So I settled for the venetian crêpe. It was about half the size of the plate and comes with your choice of fruit or side salad. Even though it was not the buttery goodness I’m used to, it wasn’t bad. Lite and full of flavor. Hubby had the pizza. He’s a Toppers lover, and said the sauce was a little tangy. Not sure if that’s good or bad. Tween had the Asian salad, didn’t think that was for real… but she liked it alot. Son had the kids meal, of course he loved the pizza! Of course we had to get the combo to try the gelato. I was again disappointed that it includes only one flavor choice and it just wasn’t creamy like I’m used to(did I mention that already)? The roasted pistachio was salty and ceamy, but gritty. The creame brule was good and also tried the butter pecan, which was more pecan than expected… Clean and quick. Hope that helps!

This place was freaking amazing! Actually we are still here writing this review because everyone was so friendly. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious. You can’t beat fresh pizza made any way you want it and gelato(so good too!!!). Service was incredible. Jeff was an amazing pizza preparer person. Very welcoming family environment! Price was on point also. We got a family meal with 4 pizzas, 2 salads, and 4 gelatos for only $ 35. A family of 4 had so much to eat and two take out boxes of pizza left over! We will be coming here again!

I wish there was something more noteworthy about this place, but there just isn’t. Price/value wise, they are a bit more expensive than the other make your own places in town. Quality is just ok. Pizza was good, but a bit bland. Urban Pizza is zestier and they have the natural sodas going for them and free ice cream. They have ice cream at Cr8, but not free. Mod is better overall in value and quality.

Tiramisu gelato. Yum. Wish they had whole soft mozzarella. I like the dough. I love the Christian music and the bible verse that points to their name.

One of the best pizzas in Sim Valley. I like the classic with added onions and garlic. Try a mixture of the regular red sauce and the spicy it’s killer. Good prices and gelato. Can’t go wrong. The family meal deal is a great value.

Build your own pizza places are popping up in Simi as the latest food trend. I compare it to the froyo race of a few years back. Unfortunately for Cre8, I think they might be going the way of the dodo in this arms race. While Cre8 is not absolutely horrible, it’s an okay pizza, that’s the problem. There are better options in town that do the same thing but have better dough and pizzas. My first pie here the toppings were not arranged in a nice way and were heavily weighted to the center. The pizza was also flooded with sauce which was just unfortunate. It’s hard to recommend this place when there is better to be had.

Great pizza and absolutely delicious gelato. They have options for everyone(gluten free, eggless, dairy free etc) in both pizza and gelato. Very family oriented and they have tons of different options for both pizza, salad or crepes. Even better is the very nice staff that works there… It’s been awhile since we have encountered such good staff at a restaurant. We hope this concept turns into a franchise and moves to a location near us!

Think Pieology or PizzaRev but more. They have Gelato and Savory Crepes. Friendly staff and awesome owner. They explain how everything works. Place is very clean and spatious. Ended up doing pizza+gelato combo. If you lite, one pizza can feed 2. Unlimited toppings. Got white sauce, mixed mozzarella and parmesan cheese, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, onion, mushroom and garlic and finished with a strawnana gelato. Awesome lunch.

Nifty«make your own pizza» joint near Simi Town Center Mall. Salads, gelato, pizza pie… oh my! Plenty of parking. Clean, new facility. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Fountain machine for drink refills. Get the bacon on your pizza. You’ll thank me later. Their bacon is amazing! 5 stars!

«It’s Subway for pizza,» explains the guy behind the counter. But listen, this isn’t Subway. The only thing on the menu that was ever frozen is the gelato. The dough is made from scratch daily and after being heaped with your preferred toppings, they will bake that disc of cheesy glory to your exact specifications. And the price is the good kind of nuts. What would net you a rushed sandwich elsewhere is instead your one-way ticket to the promised land of pizza. Bring your friends. Bring your loved ones. Bring that guy you can’t even stand. By the time you’re drooling over the gelato case, you’ll be best friends. I guarantee it. Also, they have crepes. Why the hell are you still reading this?

Great lil pizza spot. Plenty of parking. A bit out of the way(not on a main street), a few doors down from Famous Dave’s. But well worth finding. VERY clean place. From the kitchen to the tables. Spotless! Very friendly and polite staff. Ordered two pizzas. Both were create your own. One was regular, the other was Gluten Free(my girlfriend has Celiac). The employee that made her pizza changed gloves prior to making it as to not contaminate the pizza. They also used sauce from a squeeze bottle so the ladle doesn’t cross contaminate it. The bottle was marked Gluten Free. He even went to the kitchen to get a clean ladle to spread the sauce because he couldn’t be sure the GF one hadn’t be compromised. See where I’m going with this? They were beyond concerned and have taken every precaution to insure you are truly Gluten Free. When they made my full Gluten pizza, they placed the dough in a pressing machine as opposed to hand tossing. It’s not that pressing is bad, I am just not a fan of thin crust. Prefer my crust light and airy, this was a bit dense. I also thought the dough was a bit bland. In my opinion, it could have used a pinch of sea salt after being pressed. Once I added a little, it really helped quite a bit. I spoke with the owner, Charles, and he is more than happy to add salt if you wish, when you wish. The other ingredients were all fresh and plentiful. And they do not charge additional for extra or heavy toppings. Which is awesome, considering I love extra heavy Ricotta on my pizzas. Now for the sauce… The red sauce is all that I can discuss, as it was the only one I tried. It was great! VERY robust, thick, and flavorful. Made in-house using all fresh ingredients such as oregano, basil. Be forewarned, if you ask for extra heavy sauce, it may over power the flavors of some toppings. And and they have crepes! GIANTCREPES! And Gelato!!! Pizza, crepes, and gelato under one roof? Why are you still reading this review? Why aren’t you on your way yet? Need more? Okay… The create your own pizzas are only $ 7.49… That’s less than 2 nasty gut busting burgers from the local golden arches place. And a combo(pizza and side salad, or pizza and gelato, or crêpe and gelato) is only $ 8.95. And you families, get 2 loaded pizzas, 2 one topping pizzas, 2 side salads, and 4 single scoops of gelato(or 4 drinks-mix and match) for $ 34.95! How do they do it and keep the lights on? Don’t know and don’t care! Bottom line is, this is the best deal in Simi Valley. The quality way surpasses the price. It’s a no brainer to check this place out!!! I would rate Cre8 Pizza a solid 4 ½ stars. As Unilocal doesn’t use a half star system, I gave them 5 due to the extra care in making Gluten Free pizzas. I have yet to see any other pizza place I have been to take such care and use the caution that the folks at Cre8 do.

FINALLY a make it yourself pizza place in Simi! The place is really nicely laid out. Pizzas here were really fresh and tasty. I had the Tyler BBQ Chicken and a pepperoni for the kids. Both tasted really good and the dough was great. Now the best part that the other do-it-yourself pizza places don’t offer. dessert! This place has in house gelato and crepes that are really great! Had the strawberry cheesecake and the Marscapone Caramel Pistachio. REALLY good gelato. They have a family deal that it is really generous so skip a cook day and bring the family! Opening 6÷10÷2015. be sure to check it out!!!
