Worst Gamestop I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here a dozen times and the employees are always rude. Between the guy that is so strong he has to sit all day long and the guy with the dual lip rings who just stands there while you wait for help, I don’t see why anyone shops here. These employees seem to hate their jobs and want to make people’s shopping experience a nightmare. I only continue shopping here because they’re close… but even that may stop now.

Really bad customer service. The employee was already with another customer when I entered the line to pay for a game. She saw me waiting but there was no acknowledgement. Okay, no big deal. Until, another customer went straight up to her and the cashier started to wait on her instead. Fortunately, another employee came out from the back and was able to ring me up quickly. I wasn’t upset at the customer because she was just oblivious that she cut in line until it was too late. The cashier definitely knew I was next. That is what irritated me.

Worst service i have seen in a while, 2 registers two employees. Went to get a giftcard and in the 15 mins standing there i was not greeted once. Not a hold on im helping another customer(which was taking forever, around with the roid freak of an employee) nothing. So you lost business because of your employees with horrible manners and no respect for customers

Now that there is a new manager Chris I love coming here. The other workers here are also wonderful. They are so helpful and kind. I definitely recommend this gamestop over the other one on Tapo.

This is one of the best places to come to if you want to buy or sell video games. The prices are very good and if you have the power up pro card you can save even more. They also sell used games and consoles if you want to save even more. I bought a ps3 brand new here a few years ago and they had plenty in stock.

The manager miguel was the worst example of customer service i have ever seen. Never asked how i was doing, never asked me about my gamestop card, he just assumed i didnt have one, he seemed dead, and by that i mean like he hated being at work and didnt want to «deal with customers». When i finally had enough of his atittude and walked out i asked his name for the Unilocal review and he said«dont worry about my name» hiding his name badge like a child. People like this are the reason all the stores in the mall are going out of business. I will never come back here again.

Not sure why this location has so many negative reviews. Sure, it’s not the biggest or best Game Stop but it’s a typical mall location. As a franchise I’ve never been very impressed by Game Stop but you can get some good used deals from time to time. We tried the«pro» membership(or whatever it’s called) for a year but found it to be a waste so we didn’t renew. This location is clean and the employees were friendly. No complaints.

Once again, I do not like to review chains, because it’s a waste of time, but there are 2 game stops in Simi Valley. Here we go: The prices are the same. The games are the same. The employees are all the same. So why oh why would I avoid this place?! Oh, I know you want to know… you really want to know? Ok fine, calm down, I’ll tell you… THECUSTOMERS!!! There was a girl wearing the most disgustingly inappropriate shorts I’ve ever seen. Those cut off daisy dukes with the pockets hanging out. Yeah… I didn’t appreciate it. Now, if you’re Daisy Duke and it’s a hot summer day that’s fine. Rock those bad boys. If you’re… not… and it’s 60 out with a nice wind chill, rock something appropriate. Sure, this may not be fair. So I’ll stop… watch in horror… and refrain from Unilocaling… until… What’s this… why are you walking to the back little miss inappropriately dressed one(not the best nickname I’ve ever made up)? OH! You work here. Moral of the story. If you are stopping by your work on your day off, either wear appropriate clothes, or don’t let people know you work there. Especially when I have the kids in tow. I don’t want them to know how nauseous humanity is yet.

THEABSOLUTEWORST Gamestop I have ever been to. DONOTSPENDANYMONEYHERE. Damn Shame I called ahead looking for a new game from 2007 and talked to a «Spicoli» type who assured me that he had my game. Drove over 20 miles and he was like, «uh…duh…sorry man I mean dude… we don’t have the book or the box but we have the game.» Is this a new game or used? «Uh yuh new man.» Yeah right! Spicoli could have cared less that I drove over in rush hour and the man in charge was right next to him. They would not even discount a 2007PS3 game without the box or the book beyond a spartan 10% and still well above the used price. NOBOOK, NOBOX = NODISCOUNT. Stay FAR away from this place and. G0 to Westlake where they are courteous or 1000 Oaks. Obviously this is not a one time event from the other reviews.

This store flat out SUCKS! Unless you want to get ripped off by fat geeky white boys don’t go here. I bought a used game for $ 54. It is a pretty new game so the price was still high. I also bought two other games with trade in store credit. I played the other two games first and when I got around to playing the expensive game, guess what? It would not load. So, I called and talked to fat geek number one. He told me, bring it back no problem. I told him it was past two weeks. His exact words were, «No problem, bring it back.» So I did. Enter fat geek number two. «Sorry, it is past the return date.» So long story short, HIGHWAYROBBERY! STAYAWAY! WARNING! YOUWILLBEPARTEDFROMYOUR $$$$$$. It was all I could do not to put my foot in that fat mother-fuckers’s ass. AHHHHHHHHH!

This Game Stop was horrible, they call it Game Stop because going here would make you want to stop gamming! The selection of games here is very small and I could not find what I was looking for. There was this incompetent employee there, by the name of Dan who is very unhelpful– he needs to find a different job because he knows nothing about games! So we were here because my friend was exchanging a couple old games for store credit to buy a different game. He saw some coupons laid out and tried to use them, but it turns there were almost a year old; I mean why are they still lying out on the counter, was it for display?! Okay so Dan says that there are coupons for the current month, but he somehow he couldn’t get them to work! I mean all you have to do is scan them right?, but alas the complexity of this task was too much for him to handle and he failed. OH wells, no biggie so we make the purchace but then Dan does not proceed to give us the game and went on to start with the next customer. We have to remind him that when we buy games in Game Stop they do not come in the box, but given to the client after they make a purchase from their storage. He needs another training session or needs to be replaced, because his work is not up to par. Maybe I am being too harsh on this Game Stop because of this particular employee, but because of Dan I do not want to go here again and would not recomend it.
