This spot here in Simi Valley make some good taco’s.Made to order and not setting in a steam table. Fresh always better in so many ways. When you freeze meat, you lose the moister from the meat. A few things they do to earn our business. First if you have a facebook account they have a tablet to check in on, like them on facebook and you will receive a free taco or non alcoholic beverage. Second thing they do is. I’m used to Taco Tuesday’s.This location does it Monday thru-Thursday from 2 pm to 6 pm at $ 1.25 each. Good deal. Plenty of different choices of beer, from Tap beer to bottle beers, yes they have Corona’s. I ordered carne asada taco’s to go and the meat had a great taste. The young girl who took my order was very friendly and most of all pleasant. Good Job. Just a note, you must ask the employees for the 2oz containers to put Salsa in. for to go orders. They do not do it for you. 018/100.Yelp Challenge.(2016)

Trash basura. How are they going to put nacho cheese probably from a can or machine on nachos? I feel disrespected, ruined the nachos and upset my stomach with cheap quality cheese and meat was not even up to par. Horchata wasnt great, salsa ehhh and chips served cold. Looks like the have cheap beer at 3.50 but idk what beer prices are i dont drink and theyre open till 2 but I’d rather go to taco bell from now on

Just as good as before! My «go to» place when I’m in the area. Excellent salsas, marinated carrots, & radishes too. Belly up and enjoy! $ 1.00 tacos during happy hour time(M-Th, 2: pm till 4?), are the same size as any other time & delicious! GREATDEAL!

started out good but now kinda sucks you get way less food now and sometimes the beans seem least they are open late the only saving grace. but still better than el torrito white people Mexican food.

After a long day, we took the easy way out and got take out for dinner last night. I had an Al Pastor burrito and hubby had the carnitas one. We both added sliced avocado to our orders. Plenty of very fresh avocado was provided, that was great. My husband’s carnitas was very good. My Al Pastor was dry and had too many huge pieces of pineapple for my liking. It was supposed to come with salsa inside, but if it was there, I couldn’t find it. Tortilla was yummy. We would for sure go back and give it another try. Staff was nice and prices were very good.

I go here on average probably once every 2 weeks. The best tacos in town. If you log into facebook on their tablet to «like» them, they will give you a free taco with a purchase of one taco or more. Their tacos are excellent and affordable. Harry is an excellent owner and has an awesome crew preparing the meals.

I had never heard of Los Tacos Locos until they left a flier on our doorstep a few months ago. My son’s second birthday was coming up and I noticed they had a coupon for 20 tacos, chips and salsa for $ 20 bucks. My son loves Mexican food so I called to order. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the man’s name who helped me when I called but when I said we would need an additional 20 tacos he said he would double my coupon for me! He was pleasant over the phone and very accommodating! When my husband went to pick up the food a few days later it was ready to go and really hot! Now I’ve been to parties before that order tacos and I always feel like their really small and you don’t get much meat. Let me tell you Los Tacos Locos doesn’t skimp! The tacos were full of meat and flavor, we got the chicken and asada. I must say the asada was my absolute favorite! They had onions and cilantro cut up for the tacos and they gave us a TON of chips and salsa. My son devoured his tacos! Can’t wait to try this place again, I’d like to sit down at the restaurant this time for the full effect. Thank you Los Tacos Locos for making my son’s birthday and my taste buds happy!

We keep trying this place because we want to like it. The problem is we have never had a decent meal from Tacos Locos. Much of the problem is with the quality of their meat. Stay away.

This place is great! Really close to our house, so it’s nice and convenient. They have really great combo deals for reasonable prices. I had the taquitos with rice and beans, it was delicious! The rice is my favorite, I’m really picky with my rice. It was flavorful and soft. And my boyfriend had the 3 taco combo with a beer! Such a great deal! Carnitas taco was our favorite. We will defiantly be back for more!

For me, this place is a mixed bag. I ordered a taco plate with an al pastor, chicken, and carnitas taco. I didn’t care for the al pastor and the chicken didn’t have a lot of flavor, but the carnitas was pretty good. Also the rice was good too and the beans were excellent. I appreciated that this place had a salsa bar. Both the red and green sauces for the tacos were very good, but the salsa for the chips was way too mild for my taste. So I will most likely be back but I will stick to the carnitas taco plate and next time I will add a beer which they also serve in this restaurant.

I just moved to Simi. Tried a few local Mexican food spots that were recommended to me. Now When it comes to Mexican food I am a major snob. I have had the world’s best and the world’s worst. I know how it’s all prepared and I can tell quality meat from the cheap stuff in a second. I’m not gonna lie, this is not the best Mexican food you can get… HOWEVER! Out of the ones I’ve tried in SIMI, this one is by far my favorite! The Asada, Pastor, Lengua, and Fish tacos are DECENT. The Torta with Carnitas is super Bomb and is what I usually get. The food itself gets 4 stars but the fact that they have good beer and are open till 2 am earns them all 5! They are now my go-to spot! I will be eating there within the next week for sure! ;)

Saying my son loves their asada fries is an under statement! He has tried asada fries at other places and he always says that Los Tacos is waaaaay better!!! Sweet staff and the owner is humble. We will always be loyal customers.

I have since been back and my fries were correct!!! I got a free drink when i checked in there with their tablet which was cool. Great advertising on their behalf. I enjoyed that they now have a soda fountain. Very satisfied this time around. The amount of food for the price is huge. Management must of stepped it up a bit. There was a gentleman other then the cashier that was very nice and helpful. Will be back.

My son graduated High School last Wednesday. Called Los Tacos for a catering order on the weekend and had them feeding over 50 people the best carne asada, chicken, rice, beans and all the Mexican Fixins you could think of! Delicious, well priced, and mainly the graduate and all the guests loved the menu! Thank you Los Tacos for accommodating us. ANDTHEYDELIVER! WOW!

I called late afternoon for a large order(45 people!) to be picked up at 1am for a film shoot nearby. Henry was so gracious and helped me figure out the right amount to order. The delicious food came hot, well labeled, and with plenty of salsas and other condiments. The entire crew was blown away by the spread and satiated after eating the oh so yummy soft tacos!

They remodeled this location and now it’s bigger and better than it ever was. The carne asada street tacos have some of the best flavor that you can ask for. The food at this location is so fresh and made from scratch that it just tastes so good.

Nearly three years after my first unspectacular visit, one day out of the blue I received a message from the owner of the restaurant. I guess somebody just looked themselves up on Unilocal. The owner asked if I would come back and check them out again. So, being the nice guy I am, I recently did. As I pulled into their lot, I first noticed that the parking lot is surprisingly tricky, even at three in the afternoon when everybody should be at work. I parked on the far end of the lot, and hiked into the restaurant. The owner greeted me warmly, thanked me for coming back in, and shook my hand. Looking around the place, it seemed bigger than my last visit. Turns out they had purchased the next store over, and had expanded into their space. They now had a bathroom you could simply walk into from within the restaurant. Harry the owner explained to me that it was the health officials had created that bathroom ordeal when they said that the customers couldn’t walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. I suppose it makes sense. But the bathroom problem was solved. The place now had twice as many seats as my last visit. It was three o’clock, and they were mostly empty. But I’m sure this place gets crazy crowded at lunchtime. The place was still as clean and bright as ever. More work was being done out front. So it looks like they’re still improving their space. Looking at the ordering counter, there’s still a great big picture menu behind them. There’s also a tablet set up to check in on facebook. Checking in on facebook will get you free stuff from the restaurant. That’s cool. After perusing the menu, I finally decided upon the two taco one burrito combo meal, with chicken in everything. The guy behind the counter gave me a cup and my number, and sent me off to sit at a table until my food was ready. My food was ready before too long, as there weren’t that many other people in the place. Guy called my number out, and I went up to pick it up. The plate was surprisingly heavy, and the burrito was definitely large and in charge. The Tacos were the street kind. Small circular, but still well packed. I carried the plate back to the table for the Unilocal photo. I picked up the tacos first, and they were really good. The sauce they had drizzled down the middle was excellent. The Burrito was just as good, and happily it did not fall apart at the first bite. It held it’s form and structure until the very end. Good job burrito. I’m honestly glad the guy contacted me again. This place is far better than it was years ago. It’s larger, and there’s even a bathroom that you can walk right into. The food is good, and the owner cares about the place and his customers. If I’m up for Mexican while in Simi Valley, I’ll go here.
