Good beer and an enticing menu. Food, however, was mediocre and mainly depressing. I hope they improve, because the atmosphere is great!

Had dinner with a large group tonight. The service was excellent as well as the food. The beer selection was extensive, including beers from many states. Atmosphere was very unique. I will be back.

I thought the poutine gravy was too salty, but I’m rating 5 stars for the no alcohol to breastfeeding mothers policy. Make it even better and ban children and infants from entering the bar completely.

We had dinner there tonight after looking at Unilocal for a place. Being out of towners, we have to rely on others reviews. At first we were very nervous after my husband ordered the cubano and was told they couldn’t take the cheese off because it was«pre-made». Well we finally ordered the burger for my hubby and the shawarma chicken sandwich for me. Of course we had to order the fried Brussels sprouts. Omg! A must have. They were sweet but not overly. I plan on trying to recreate at home. The shawarma chicken was flavorful and tender. We decided to not order a dessert unless they they had bread pudding. Well guess what? They had it. Very good but not for the faint of heart. The sugar got to be a bit much. Overall, excellent food. Service was great, I thought the food runner(had Aguilera on the back of her shirt) was adorable! She was friendly and so sweet. If we are ever in Sioux City again, we will come back.

I’m not sure how everyone else rated this a 4 or 5. I would give them a 0 if I could. We were able to walk in on a Saturday around 5PM and found open seats. That was about the only good thing. Once we were seated, we waited for 20 minutes before someone even made it over to our table with menus. It was another 15 minutes before they came back to take our drink orders(8 of the 20 or so beers on tap were out.) After another 10 minutes we were informed the 2 beers that were chosen were also out so we got to try and reorder from a now very small selection of micro brews. We finally got our drinks(now about 50 minutes into our visit) but instead of immediately taking our food order, the waitress left again. We finally got our food order in and received our food 1 hour 45 minutes into our visit. The menu was limited but the food was ok, not great. We got out of there after 2 hours and 15 minutes, missing the first period of the Musketeer’s game(we allotted for 2 hours for dinner and still couldn’t get there in time. Overall: ok food, very limited micro brew selection(not sold out), god awful service. I was about to go up to the bar to serve myself and go into the kitchen to make my own food. It would have been faster. First impressions are very meaningful and I can’t see a situation where I will go back here.

A great place for dinner in Sioux City, IA. Large selection of microbrews and your usual domestics. They have a couple of TV monitors with the current beer selections with where they’re from, alcohol percentage, and price. Beer flights available for $ 8.(5 sample glasses on a wooden board). Copper bar top is cool. The menu isn’t gigantic but I’m OK with that if what they offer is good. For an appetizer, get the fried Brussels sprouts with lime and Siracha. The tossed salad with sesame vinagarette is fresh. For the main course, I ordered the burger which was good but a little too well done for my taste. Lively for a Wednesday evening. An occasional«ding» of a bell from the kitchen means someone’s order is ready(old school; I like it!).

Nice place with good selection of craft beers and intersting food choices on the menu. Everything I had was quite good. Very friendly people also.

Such good food. Only reason for lack of 5th star is they seemed understaffed on a Saturday evening and we waiting close to an hour to eat – I probably noticed the wait time more because I was pregnant and therefore not imbibing on their expansive rotating beer selection. I got the mahi mahi which is served with brussel sprouts and quinoa. I’m not normally a quinoa fan but it was cooked perfectly and the whole dish was just awesome. Husband ordered a cheeseburger. Came with pickled red onions which were to die for. We also ordered a poutine appetizer which was okay – would recommend ordering the gravy on the side. Entrées were reasonably priced which was an amazing surprise! Can’t wait to go back

The fried Brussel sprouts are a must have and the beer selection is out of this world — but let’s face it. The best thing was finding real, honest to goodness Canadian style poutine in a tiny city in Iowa, cheese curds and all. It was delicious, and really hit the spot after a long weekend. Why only 4 stars? One waitress working the entire place on a Saturday meant things were very slow — and our meals were brought out one at a time, with my own dish coming out 10 minutes before anyone else’s. Awkward. Would definitely give them another shot, though — the poutine is worth it!

Great creative food and amazing craft beer selection that continually is changing! Among the awesome food I have had there, my favorite is the Chicken And Waffles!!! Plus the beer selection is always changing. Service has been great wether I was at the bar or a dinner table. Great place to hangout!

the fish tacos were excellent. the elk sausage was dry. would be fun to have an elk/beef hamburger or meatloaf on the menu, especially if the meatloaf came with their yummy gravy!

My husband and I had an amazing experience. Super awesome waitress and the bar tenders seemed cool and were quick with our drinks. Small menu, but wow. Just wow. Started off with poutine for an app… it was amazing. That gravy! Their beer selection is awesome. I had the mahi mahi and it was the best I’ve ever had. Husband had the bone-in pork chop. It was delicious. Fried red potatoes and cooked carrots accompanied it. Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We’ll be back for sure. Oh! The canolies!!! So, so good.
