In reference to the jones m. review-As the owner of Nonesuch I would really like to know what«tag» was found from another shop that, in theory, did the work on his/her piece. Not a single piece leaves this shop and I design every job and then cut every mat, build every frame and put every piece together myself. And if you find my work is expensive it’s because you are paying for museum quality mats, top quality frames and my 35 years of experience. My customers come here because I offer a selection of frames and mats that is second to none in the area and frame and mat designs that most frame shops wouldn’t dream of. Framing is like ice cream. You can buy Haagen Daaz and Ben and Jerry’s or you can buy Shop Rite’s own or Turkey Hill. You get what you pay for. If anyone would like to see what my other customers think please check out the reviews on . I stand by my work and if my customer isn’t happy then neither am I. I have been to Nonesuch framing for two projects. The first one came out great. The second one was problematic. The problem is not the quality of the framing, but the price and an assumption. This place is expensive — which is OK if I am paying for the craftsman at the shop. The problem I have with Nonesuch is that the second framing job I commissioned still had the tag from the framing shop that actually did the work. It is my understanding that sending out work to be framed is common and that most framing shops are simply showrooms, and the real craftsmen are elsewhere doing framing for a lot less money. But, this place appears to hold itself out as doing the work there. So you can see my disappointment? I am not likely to return.
