Pizza is fine for the area, but definitely not one of the best central jerz has to offer. I had a few heated up slices. Nothing to write home about. Service was friendly.

The manager and whole staff are kind of extremely rude, also if you speak Italian dont come in, they just trash talk you in Italian and say extremely sexual comments towards women, someone sue them

where do I begin. ok, well first off, it’s all about the taste. Although it’s in a strip mall so it doesn’t look that big from the road, but looks are deceiving, because once you get inside there’s a multitude of topped pizzas awaiting your savery taste buds. everything from Brooklyn style to chicken Cacciatore pizza baby, my favorite. Big S and his compadre J Wan give the best customer appeal and genuinely cook up some terrific delights. The chicken gets marinated then sauteed to a perfect consistency before being portioned onto their topped pies. Now with the Cacciatore there’s also cheese capers and black olives to give it that perfect taste and yet still a pizza…(stomach growling). But they got some fantastic dishes, I can eat there everyday, I love the cheese steaks and chicken parm sandwiches too. You go fellas!(no more Baker for me!)

Such a sweet delicious sauce. I am a huge fan and think it’s the best pizza in town. Kudos to them for switching it up because rodolfos just wasn’t cutting it for me. I’m officially an Alfonso’s convert now!

Delicious pizza! My dad and I stopped in here for a quick bite and one of the workers came out with our pizza in a few short minutes. I ordered their best Brooklyn pizza slice and a buffalo chicken pizza slice. The brooklyn slice is mighty fine– I can see why it’s been on in the newspaper 3 times. It deserve’s its hype. The pizzeria is very clean, and aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. The staff all seem to know the ins and outs of everything the place, and serve with a welcoming attitude. If you come here you better their giant array of different kinds of pizza. From penne vodka, to bacon and mashed potato, you can find your specialty pizza here. This place is great for a small pit stop or little lunch with your significant other:)

Ordered two pies for pick-up, and when I got there, they said they gave my pie away to someone else. Then I had to wait 10 minutes for a new pie. My idea of quickly picking up pizza was demolished. Overall the place seems very unorganized and the pizza was sub-par compared to other local joints such as New World Pizza.

Very good food here. Had a chicken Cesar salad 7 was amazed at how large the portion was. Lettuce was fresh/crisp and the grilled chicken was excellent. Happy that they deliver & cater too!

Stopped in for lunch while visiting friends in NJ. The last time we’d visited, it was under different ownership and was called Rodolfo’s(as other reviewers have noted) so it was a big different than we expected, but not in an unpleasant way. I think they’re trying to make it more of a «sit-down» restaurant and less of a «grab a few slices and go» place, although you still order at the counter. The food is still quite good, although I think Rodolfo took the secret pizza sauce recipe with him.(The pizza is excellent, but it’s not quite the same.) There’s a mesmerizing display of different varieties of pizza at the counter, and getting slices from them is a great way to try out new flavors. I probably wouldn’t have been brave enough to order an entire bacon and potato pizza, but I was brave enough to order a slice — and it’s actually really tasty! Around the table we probably tried half a dozen different kinds, and everyone was happy. There is a drawback with ordering slices, however, and that is that the pizza isn’t as «fresh» as if it had been made to order. So the best thing to do, like everywhere else, is order whole pies if you can get enough people to agree on what kind they want(with my family this is a lost cause). Service was great. The guy behind the counter(the owner?) was very helpful and patient with us as the kids had a hard time deciding what they wanted, etc. He even gave us an extra free slice(without us saying anything) because one of the pieces turned out to have an enormous bubble in it. We’ll stop in again, the next time we’re in the neighborhood.

Pretty cool Italian Pizza joint. In the shopping plaza next to shop rite on 206. Standard affair, quick, hot, friendly, and fun. Appreciated the live music — pianist in the back, playing some great music all night long.

I stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was nice and clean. The offerings available and on display looked very tasty! I ordered two slices and a Coke. The pizza was very, very good!!! The slices were delivered to my table piping hot. The crust was amazing, the sauce incredible and cheese was just right. Check it out!

Very disappointed! I’ve ordered here before and the food was ok, despite the fact that they’ve screwed up our order, forgotten items and overcharged. Tonight I called to see if they were delivering(crummy weather) and when they said it would be over an hour for delivery I said«no thank you, I won’t be ordering tonight». Then the man on the phone said, «oh, so you want us to deliver but don’t want to wait an hour and you won’t come pick it up yourself!» Then hung up on me without giving me the chance to explain that there are other pizza places closer from which we would be more comfortable picking up. I will never order from Vera again. Very rude.

The pizza is good, and we have previously had it delivered or picked it up. This evening, we ordered sandwiches and salad. The sandwich order was incorrect, and we were overcharged by more than 5 dollars. My husband had to sit on the phone with whomever was managing the place to total up the math, plus delivery charge and tax(and they told us the delivery charge was taxed — is that even allowed?), and only then did he agree to take the $ 5.00 back off our card. The online menu is outdated, as well, which they will admit to, so if you order online or by phone, make sure you know real prices.

The new owner really cares and is a character. The portions are ample the service is attentive and the quality is great. Not just a pizza place!

I was overcharged for sure. $ 12 large pie, $ 3.25 garlic knots, 2 iced teas bottles and a small yoo hoo box totaled $ 25? $ 10 for 3 drinks? The owner was also yelling at his staff a lot on front of the customers. Why would you do that? I mean nonstop. He was very arrogant and at one point accused me if the order was my fault. We usually order from Victors Pizza in Hillsborough but I had to meet people at Thomas Sweet so we stopped here. It was our first visit. The place was very clean. The pizza was ok but that atmosphere was very uncomfortable.

Went recently, the pizza was ok, similar to Alfonso’s pizza, but it was far more expensive, and the atmosphere was tense. The workers didn’t seem happy and they didn’t turn around to say anything when I walked into their store. It wasn’t busy and you would at least expect a hello or some kind of welcome when you walk inside a restaurant. The first thing said to me was a forceful,“what do you want.” I won’t be coming back any time soon.

Decent. Margherita pizza(fresh mozzarella and basil) is good and pizza fresh from the oven is good. They deliver which is HUGE — finally a better option for pizza delivery in Montgomery. Dinners are OK. I order fra diavolo and it was just marina with red pepper. Yikes. Owner is great

Formerly Rudolpho’s, it was a Montgomery staple and my go-to pizzeria in town. I wish I could say the same about Vera. The pizza that I had was flat-out not good and very expensive($ 6 for a slice of plain and pepperoni). Not to mention, the guy behind the counter(owner?) was muttering obscenities to himself while I was waiting for my takeout. Hopefully someone can convince me that this was an off night for them otherwise from now on I’ll be going elsewhere.

The owner is really proud of his business and it shows. On the pizza, he piles on the fresh and tasty toppings and it is glorious. He home makes his gluten free crust and it is by far the best gluten free crust I have tried. I am looking forward to becoming a regular here.

Vera Pizza used to be Rodofo’s but it was then sold to the guy who owns Alfonso’s pizza. This place is exactly what you expect it to be and want it to be. A decent pizza by the slice place. Is it mind-blowing? No. But then again you don’t go there for mind-blowing pizza. You go there for a slice or two or five(depending on your appetite). It gets the job done.
