Sam is a great guy that is doing everything to please the customer.

I won’t let anyone but Samira touch my hair. She always knows exactly what I want and does an amazing job. She and her husband Sam are also very fun and friendly people! I always leave a happy customer :)

I have been coming here for well over 4 years now and I wouldn’t get my haircut anywhere else. Sam listens to you and make sure that you are satisfied before you step out. I live in Chicago now but I am more than willing to drive out to Skokie to just get my haircut. I would definitely recommend Sam and Samira to anyone.

Sam does a great job with haircuts. I definitely recommend him to everyone. He spends a lot of time and tries to perfect the haircut and individualize it. He never rushes the haircut either. He is a great guy to go to. They do accept credit cards at this point as well which is definitely convenient.

The other morning my daughter says she took a picture of me sleeping with my hair looking like Albert Einstein, splayed across the pillow. So today I was in Skokie for a meeting which finished early and looked on Unilocal to find a haircut near by.
Creative Cuts is in a seen-​better-​days strip mall with ample parking. Sam greeted me as I walked in and sat me at his station. He asked the usual questions about how I wanted my hair («Not too short so my wife doesn’t yell at me» alot of help that is) and proceeded to give me a good haircut. Sam took his time, there wasn’t anyone waiting, and we had a pleasant conversation. In the end the cut and blow dry was $ 10 w/​o a wash. What a deal, especially when you consider the quality of the cut. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again, and my wife is even suggesting that I just make the trip to Skokie for my future cuts. It is nice to know that you’re dealing with the owner.

Don’t accept credit cards. Website is on a sub domain of a poor host. Who accepts checks anymore? Service was fine, but the overall business model is poor and inefficient.

I’ve been going to this place for 3 years now, Sam is my barber and he knows exactly what he’s doing. When my parents referred me to another barber, I didn’t like what he had done so I went back to Sam and I asked him if he could fix it, and he said he could and he did. I was very happy. One thing he told me that I will never forget is «Cutting hair isn’t for everyone» and I believe it is true. Till this day, I’ve been happy with every hair cut I’ve gotten.

I tried salons all over the north side of Chicago and had a friend recommend Samira to me almost 7 years ago — now I refuse to go anywhere else. Samira is thorough, pays attention to detail, gives me advice on what will look good on me (based on face shape and my thin, baby-​fine hair), and is honest if she thinks I’m asking for something I won’t end up liking. She always remembers me, what she did to my hair last time, and even makes tweaks to make sure I’m satisfied.
Once she was out of town seeing family and I had to go somewhere else, and they totally botched it. I went back to Creative Cuts afterwards and Samira immediately knew what was wrong, and fixed it!
I moved to Boston a few years ago and only get my hair cut when I come back to visit my parents in Chicago because I don’t want anyone but Samira. Sam is great at washing hair and my dad likes him, but Samira’s the star for a lady’s haircut!

Samira and her husband Sam are awesome. I came here for a last minute haircut and they couldn’t be any kinder and/​or sweeter. This will be my regular place for a haircut. Very close to home, nice people and clean well kept shop. I will be back more often. Thanks Samira. You are lovely.

Sam and Samira are incredible. They really know how to listen and give you the cut and/​or color that YOU want, not the one they think you should have. Samira takes her time to make sure everything is just right. Sam shampoos hair better than anyone I know. Sam cuts my husband’s and my grandson’s hair… they all look forward to going… unheard of!

I’ve been getting my long hair cut by Samira for the past 2 years! She has never disappointed me. She and Sam are a friendly couple and offer a 5 starts service for a friendly price! — No credit/​debit card though, sometimes I forget to stop and cash some $$.
I’m ready to get a bob haircut with them really soon :)

I had my hair cut there twice in the past two months and am very happy with the results. My hair stylist is very skilled and takes great pride in her work. During both visits, she really took her time in cutting and trimming. My angled bub cut came out exactly like how I wanted it (well-​layered with just a hint of edginess). We all know how rare that is. All this for a very reasonable price of 15 $! I will definitely go back!
