Hardee’s

So a buddy of mine used to GM this place a few years back and his main struggle was keeping good employees. Apparently that’s still a problem. I hadn’t been in a few years and I’ll cut a place some slack service-​wise as long as the food is good. They failed all around. Staff act like they are doing you a favor taking your order. Strike 1. The tables were a mess. I mean like every table had some gravy or biscuit debris on it and this was mid-​morning, not breakfast rush. Strike 2. I ordered the breakfast platter with sausage and got fried steak instead. Strike 3. Also, the eggs were bland, the hash browns were extra greasy and huge container of gravy kinda made me gag a little. I might go back for lunch or dinner but me and Hardee’s at breakfast time are over.

I haven’t had Hardee’s since I was a little kid because they all moved out of the area, so I forgot what it was like. We just stopped because this was a convenient break on our way to Myrtle Beach. They have a new hand breaded chicken sandwich which they are promoting heavily, so I decided to try it. Kinda bland and doesn’t really compare to Chick-​fil-​a. Burgers taste like Burger King. Service is kinda slow for «fast food». They give you a number to put on your table and bring the food out to you. We waited probably 10 mins.
