Okay, it’s now official. After eating at Ciro’s today I now realize that they make the best Neapolitan pizza on Long Island. The slices are HUGE and they are made with the perfect combination of sweet delicious sauce, melted mozzarella and a beautifully cooked thin crispy dough/crust. One of the few pizza slices around that you can eat folded without getting too much dough or cheese in each bite. Sure, some oil will drip out, but that’s just a sign that they are using the right cheese on the pie! Sal, the guy who makes and serves the pizza, is also the nicest person on earth. He is definitely an old-school pizza master, and goes out of his way to greet and thank all of his customers which is very rare at other establishments. Congratulations Ciro’s! You have moved up to number one on my LI Pizza Rankings: 1-Ciro’s(Hauppauge) 2-Gino’s(Long Beach) 3-Emilio’s(Commack) 4-Colosseo’s(Port Jefferson) 5-Branchinelli’s(Hauppauge) 6-Grimaldi’s(Garden City) 7-American Pie(Bridgehampton) 8-Umberto’s(New Hyde Park & Plainview) 9– La Scala(Commack) 10-Mamma Santina’s(Brightwaters) 11-Pizza Stop(Farmingville) 12-Sputino —(Dix Hills) 13-Carlo’s Pizza —(Port Washington) 14-Filetto’s(East Northport) 15-Tony’s Pizza,(Brentwood) 16-World Pie(Bridgehampton) 17-Patio Pizza(St. James) 18-Brooklyn Pizza(Commack) 19-Rosa’s Pizza(Port Washington) **Grandma slices only 20-Little Vincent’s(Huntington & Lake Ronkonkoma)

Probably one of the best slices of pizza in Suffolk County. Gent behind the counter speaks Italian, so plus for authenticity. The shop itself reminded me of being a kid going to see my grandparents in Queens and having pizza, so another plus for authenticity and nostalgia.

I’ve only ever had regular slices here, but I do that about 4 times a week for lunch. Definitely the best slice in the area. And the house pies are cut into six slices, so a slice is a bit bigger than your typical slice, which is nice since pizza has gotten so expensive since the great flour crisis of ’08. Consistently terrific pizza here.

For some reason, the first time I visioned Ciro’s I was very apprehensive-maybe because of the location; however, the hype about this pizza here is all true.

Born and raised in PA and hate everything about NY. Plain and simple we have no pizzeria anywhere near King of Prussia that comes close to this pizza. Not sure whether it is the cheese, sauce or dough that makes it stand out but all are superb.

Ciro’s was great 17 years ago when I moved to Smithtown and it’s still great today. Our definite«go to» place for pizza. In fact, when traveling we usually stop here on our way home from the airport. It’s just that good… especially the Sicilian.

I would eat this pizza every night if I could. Perfectly thin with just the right amount of grease. Delish!

Very great tasting pizza Ciro’s always seem to amaze me. Pizza that taste good with any topping as well as having a nice crunch to it with every bite. The sauce was a little off my taste but wasn’t to bad. Staff always had a smile on their face and was very friendly. Place was kept top notch very little to no mess in the restaurant. Most of all loved how big the pizza was, filled me up with just a slice normally i’d eat about 2 or 3 but this time it was just to much so i ended up just taking it home.

This is the best pizza in the area maybe on the whole Island. Sal is a great pizza maker. Every pie is excellent. Ralphie is a great front man. The hero’s and dinners are excellent.

One of many, many pizza places in the area, Ciro’s has a lot of strong competition. That being said, they’ve firmly locked themselves into my top 3. Just a down and dirty good pizza.

Really not a fan. Just doesn’t compare to what I have had upstate. I refuse to eat pizza anywhere on Long Island, after hearing good things about this place, then trying it, im back to boycotting Long Island pizza. No thanks

Best pizza in the area. Pizza, calzones and garlic nuts are all top notch, a regular meal in the office on the weekends. Staff is great and they bend over backwards for local businesses, even delivering when they are short staffed.

I’ve been to Ciro’s many times when I worked at CA. My old boss turned me onto this place and I’m thankful he did. Their slice pie is cut into 6 slices instead of 8, so they are pretty big. I’ve never had a bad slice of pizza there. It’s always fresh and delicious. I no longer live in NY, but when I do visit, I sometimes trek out there for a few slices. The décor is very 80’s and its a very simple place with great pizza.

This place definitely needs an overhaul, but when they do, they better not touch the kitchen. Pizza is absolutely amazing. It is a tad expensive $ 15 for a pie, but i guess you get what you pay for, some tlc. The Sicilian slice, I believe is what Sicilians intended what a Sicilian slice should taste like. Crispy crust, soft raised dough. Bravo Ciro e mille grazie

I went here after a client of mine told me to go here while I was on Long Island. I am from Chicago so I have judgmental on pizza and I have to say this was pretty decent. They warmed it up for me before they served me the slice so that was nice. I still like my Chicago pizza better but it wasn’t bad.
