Awesome creeps and incredible French press coffee to wash it down. Service was great and atmosphere was warm, open and comfortable. Love this new find!

Honestly… No Complaints… The Food was Delicious… The Ambiance was nice both inside and out… Great Service… and I’m glad I didn’t take to heart the bad reviews that I read because I would have really missed out on a Dining Experience. So allow me to set the stage because I am a FOODIE to the Core, but this is actually my first review, so I need to do it and review it, RIGHT! Its in a nice quaint little plaza that almost looks like a residential area and I think it is also residential… but other restaurants inside the plaza are 5 Guys, A Mexican place right next to it, and also Cami Cakes is in there among other places. You walk in and its nice, very chill environment… I went for Sunday Brunch. There are tables and also a Bar like area you can sit to watch them make the food. I sat at a table with my lady, Jess and at first I’ll admit… they took a second to come and get the drink order but someone promptly came and let us know we would be taken care of and even apologized for the wait. I ordered the Peach Bellini(Incredible, I should have gotten a Craft!) I could have took the whole thing to the head it was SOGOOD and Jess got the Mexican Mimosa… It was a lil to limey for my taste but not bad. I can’t wait to go back and get the Bellini Craft, but Jess did like her drink, she just liked mine a lot more! For Brunch: I wanted the Jerk Chicken and she wanted the Pesto Chicken Crêpe… but unfortunately, they didn’t have all of the ingredients, I learned later this would be a blessing in disguise. So I got the Black and Bleu Crêpe after reading the reviews and loving Sauteed Onions, with the Home Potatoes… and she got the Chicken Cordon Bleu minus that ham w/a Parmesan Salad. Our food came in decent time, I was in not rush, so I wasn’t watching the Clock… It looked AMAZING and It tasted as such! I dont want to be too long winded but it was very good, The Crêpe was nice, good amount of sauce and Im not a big Bleu Cheese eater… The Cordon Bleu did come with HAM and we specifically asked for NOHAM… but it was easily picked out… and then the waiter went an extra step and told us for the mix up, Dessert on HIM… Since I was planning on trying a Dessert Crêpe anyway… ITWAS A PERFECTFIXUP! It helps that the Cordon Bleu was DELICIOUS! It was like a wrap and it had been Fried just right to give it this golden brown crust… Everything was hot and fresh inside and the Parmesan Salad it came with was to Die for, with just a few little chips that I believe were to act as the croutons… and it was I nice and different flare, it almost seemed like the chips were made fresh from a Potato, but I didn’t ask so I don’t know, but they were good! I really enjoyed the meal it was light enough for dessert but enough to still satisfy and I can not say enough how fresh everything tasted so to be out of certain things when you are preparing fresh food like that, is no problem to me… its to be expected. For Dessert: We got the Apple Crêpe Ala Mode… Honestly, it wasn’t my fav just because there was SOOOOOOMUCHAPPLE, Like I mean literally a WHOLEAPPLE in one Crêpe, But it came with ICECREAMANDITWASFREE99, SOWHOCOMPLAINSABOUTFREE!!! Not this guy… It was tasty otherwise but couldn’t eat all those apples and the apples for me could have been cooked more but… all in all with tip it was about 40 bucks, so not too bad for some good, fresh, and different food. Plenty of other tasty things on the menu also to go back for so I will be visiting again! Oh, and if you check in on Unilocal 3 times… U get a Free Bananas Foster Crêpe! I can not wait for that… I’ll be getting mine, A LAMODE! Hope You Enjoyed Reading ;-) Here is a link to my Food until I learn how to post it on here! lol

Awesome French press coffee. Took a friend and his wife to this place. I had the chocolate crêpe, filled with chocolate, and then covered in chocolate. Wow. They had the bananas foster crêpe which was also very good. Just a chill place with great French press coffee and good crepes.

This little creperie seems a perfect fit for Vinings. It has been in my bookmarks for a couple years but I never got around to eating here. The crepes I tried were pretty good but not noteworthy. For the brunch crêpe I had the carne asada, served in a cornmeal crêpe. The actual crêpe itself was room temperature, as if it had been made in advance which was disappointing. However the steak inside was tender, almost brisket-like, and very tasty but too salty. I had home fries on the side which are basically just cubed roasted? potatoes. They had a nice crisp but left a burnt oil aftertaste. The dessert crêpe I tried was delicious. Bananas, cinnamon and syrup really and it tasted great. It did become a little bit of a soggy mess because the crêpe is so thin and the fillings syrupy and heavy, however. Overall this place was nice to try but not worth return visits for me. I think at least from this visit that the dessert fare is the way to go.

My boyfriend and I went to Crêpe Revolution for a late brunch a few months ago. When we walked in it was pretty empty and a little warm. I suppose I shouldn’t let the temperature of a restaurant affect my experience, but let’s face it… it does. So, we were seated and began the process of deciding what to eat. Our waitress was slow and it took her a while to get around to us, even though the place was nearly empty. Our food arrived slowly and when it got to us part of the order was forgotten and part was just wrong. She forgot to bring out my boyfriend’s soup and when he asked for it she seemed surprised. While she was away completing his order he noticed his crêpe looked funny. He’s a pescatarian and ordered a fish crêpe, however, our waitress brought him a chicken crêpe. Now, I know there is no way she could know that he couldn’t eat it, but when she came back with the soup he pointed out the error and she tried to tell him it was correct and that he’d ordered chicken. She then flipped to her notepad and sure enough… she realized she was incorrect. So, we waited a while longer and his food was corrected. Now, sometimes the food at a place can really redeem the crappy services, but this was not one of those times. My food was kind of «meh» and his was nothing to write home about either. I ordered the buffalo chicken crêpe with the skillet potatoes. He got one of the fish crepes with tomato bisque soup. Our experience was so poor that we decided to skip dessert and just stop by Starbucks to cure our sweet tooth instead of trying one of their dessert crepes. Overall we were underwhelmed. Maybe we caught them on an off day, maybe we just don’t like crepes as much as we thought we would, or maybe this place really is just«meh.» In any case, it isn’t likely that we will return.

Went there for brunch. It is a nice restaurant with decent food, but nothing extraordinary or stand-out-ish…Like other reviewers said previously, no oohs, and ahhs, about anything we ate, so I would say that the prices are a bit high for what you get. We ordered the smoked salmon and the crab cake crepes. The salmon was too salmon-ey, which sounds weird, especially coming from me, a sworn salmon lover! It just overwhelmed all other tastes. The crabcake one was just OK(we expected something much more). We did love the home fries though… The drinks were fine too. Overall it was a good but not excellent choice. Or maybe our choices were not the best one can make from that menu, so maybe next time, my review will be better!

This was my second time dining at Crêpe Revolution in the past two years. Today, me and my best friend went there for Saturday brunch. I ordered the Carne Asada Crêpe — sliced steak, cilantro/jalapeño sauce, monterey jack, corn, topped with salsa. The steak wasn’t as tender as I would have liked it to be but I have to say that I’m a fan of the cilantro/jalapeño sauce which was very tasty. It came served with a side item selection of my choice. I ordered the Stone Ground Grits with cheddar and monterey jack cheese which was good and even had a hint of jasmine flavor which I found sort of odd in grits. But since I drink jasmine green tea at home I didn’t really mind the flavor.

Location: In the newly constructed West Village area of Smyrna, GA, right off I-285 at the Atlanta Road exit. Abundant, free garage parking behind the restaurant. Be careful of the ongoing construction of new condos happening in the area. Atmosphere: Very casual restaurant with a semi-separate bar area, a crêpe bar seating area(where you can watch your crêpe being made to order) and a dining room. Service: Our waitress was very polite and offered a great method in helping me decide what I wanted to eat. I couldn’t decide between a steak or chicken crêpe. Her response: «What did you eat last night? Whatever you ate last night, order the opposite.» It made me laugh and I took her advice. Food: The fact that you cannot order a breakfast cocktail until AFTER12:30pm on a Sunday is OUTRAGEOUS! Being from Maryland, I was highly disappointed that I was able to order a mimosa and had to settle for water with lemon. Granted, this is not the restaurant’s fault, so I cannot blame them. With that being said, the food was delicious! Taking the waitress’ advice, I ordered the Black ‘n’ Blue crêpe(since I had chicken for dinner the night before). I was so glad that I did! A plentiful amount of steak, onions, and mushrooms filled the crêpe. The blue cheese dressing, though not consisting of as much blue cheese chunks as I would have liked, added great flavor to the food.(Blue cheese dressing for breakfast, right? Not as weird as you’d think.) The Home Fries were seasoned so well that the ketchup that was brought out with them was left untouched. Now, having eaten traditional crepes, these are not the real thing. Traditional crepes are usually filled with fruit preserves and topped with powder sugar. Leave it to America to «fatten» it up with their spin on things… but man, what a great way to Americanize this French dish! I loved it!

Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. The food is just phenomenal. Too bad the service I’ve gotten all four times has been awful. :/ Ordering the same thing as the table next to me 30 minutes before they do(right down to the side dishes) and have them get it 15 minutes before me is really a let down. But when the food does come, its incredible! Highly recommended if you have the patience. Don’t expect anything less than absolutely phenomenal food and a two hour«wait to get said food» time.

I just got back from Asheville NC, where I went to an amazingly delicious crêpe restaurant. I’d never had savory crepes before, but surely the Asheville crepes are exactly what a savory crêpe should be– fresh ingredients, a crispy but light crêpe shell that allowed you to pick up the crêpe like a sandwich, and high quality meats. Keep in mind that the Asheville place wasn’t uppity– meals ran about $ 8-$ 10, which seemed a very reasonable amount for the quality and quantity of food. When I got back to Atlanta, I was so excited to find we had our own crêpe place. I drove to Smyrna from Midtown and met my mom for lunch. We both ordered the Monte Cristo(chicken, ham, cheddar, honey dijion mustard and raspberry sauce). I could tell before the first bite I was going to be disappointed– these were soggy looking, sticky crepes that you definitely couldn’t pick up to eat. The meats themselves were incredibly cheap tasting– sliced deli ham and some cubed chicken that I’m sure came out of a bag. The cheddar tasted equally cheap, like a Kraft single instead of real cheese. I didn’t even finish mine(and they aren’ particularly large). It cost $ 8 dollars, plus whatever I paid for a canned Diet Coke, and I felt completely ripped off– the whole thing tasted it was made in a high school cafeteria. Maybe dessert crepes here are better(I didn’t try one), but suffice it to say I won’t be coming back. The staff was very friendly and the place itself is nice, which is the only thing keeping them from a one star review.

It amazes me that I’ve lived in the West Village where Crêpe Revolution is located for 5 years and I’ve only been to this restaurant 3 times. Once when it first opened, then twice again in the last 2 months. I don’t know why, because the food there is delicious. Strangely, though, my favorite dishes at Crêpe Revolution are the non-crêpe dishes. I typically come here for breakfast and for one item specifically: BLINTZES!!! Oh my… where have they been all my life? All the yummy goodness provided in breakfast food wrapped into a crêpe and the FRIED! Seriously, how can you go wrong with that!!! My only minor complaint is that they go very heavy on the cheese and since they’re pre-wrapped, you can’t ask for it without that much cheddar. They are also the only place I know of in Atlanta that serves my favorite food group: Nutella! I used to eat that stuff with a spoon growing up… straight out of the jar. Eating one of the Nutella crepes very much reminds me of these days. If you don’t have an extreme sweet tooth, don’t try it with the Nutella crêpe: it is sugary sweet to the extreme and will make your mouth stick together. But it is oh… so…goooooood! Unfortunately, I can’t speak to any of their savory crepes, because I’ve never tried them. I need to make a point of coming here more regularly. I like the atmosphere and décor of the restaurant and I’m really glad that it’s become such a popular spot!

Came here with my shawty for dessert after house shopping in Ivy Walk. The place was quiet, and we had attentive service. We ordered the dessert sampler platter, and some other sweet crepes. They were small in size, but they were still very tasty. I think we had the banana foster, the apple and nutella to start and ended up getting the strawberry as well. We enjoyed our sweet fix, but it’s too far to make a regular occurrence.

I’ve been here about 3 – 4 times. And they never impressed me. Actually, the first time I came was when they first opened. At that time, I thought it tasted good. Unfortunately, the quality of the food went down fast every subsequent visit. I will give them credit for their dessert crepes, even though it’s just some Publix ice cream on a super thin pancake. And I give them credit because you can’t ruin ice cream, pieces of fruit and powdered sugar. But seriously, why would you pay $ 7 for ice cream on a thin pancake? Anyway, the savory crepes are very disappointing. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t cook it well, if the ingredients are low quality, or what. The last time I visited this place, nothing on the menu looked good because of my previous sub-par experiences. I would describe the food as something I ate at my college cafeteria.

Paid this place a visit for Jang C’s Cobb Lunch UYE Revolution right before my winter break. I have heard good things about this place from friends and family so I decided to give it a shot. Anyway, I have been in the area(West Village) for trivia at pizza and trivia at Blue Moon, and other establishments near by and have become a fan just because of the nice location and the close proximity to my house. The place had a great atmosphere and I really liked the plastic awning they had near the door to keep the place from being drafty(hate being cold and having a cold meal when its supposed to be warm). The décor was fairly modern and comfortable. We ordered at the counter and I went with the crêpe sampler which was made up of the Athens crêpe which had feta cheese, spinach, red pepper, tzatziki sauce and olives on a classic crêpe… this was by far one of my favorites on the sampler. It was savory with a tang which the feta and the tzatziki sauce provided, with a slight sweetness from the classic crêpe. DEEELICIOUS! The other crêpe that was in the sampler… as there are 3 included, was the chicken pesto on a buckwheat crêpe. This was my second favorite. I really liked the pesto and the way that it complimented the buckwheat, fairly simple dish really but it was really good as well. The other crêpe that was included was the chipotle pork crêpe on a cornmeal crêpe. This was not really my favorite because it was spicy, but honestly, if I liked spicy foods I would be a fan as it had a slight sweetness and the pork was extremely tender… sometimes I just wish I wasn’t that sensitive to spices(sigh). My boyfriend gave me a taste of his dish, which was the Thai Chicken Purse, which according to the menu had broccoli, chicken, peanut sauce wrapped on an herb crêpe. This crêpe was really flavourful but a little spicy for my taste. If I wasn’t so sensitive I would def be a fan. This dish also had a pretty good presentation with the peanut sauce and some red sauce that was thrown in along with cilantro. Overall it was a very pleasant dining experience, oh yeah I washed my meal down with some unsweet tea, which was pretty good. One of the things that I really want to order next time I come by, which I mean to do sometime soon is to try out their Nutella crêpe. As I was eating my meal, I was wondering whether they had something like that on their menu, which they did. I’m usually not a dessert kind of person so I didn’t even look at the desserts, but I am a Nutella fiend so that kinda changes things. As I said before… I’ll be back! #yelp3652⁄365

Visited yesterday for Jang C’s Cobb Lunch UYE Revolution( ) with 10 others. Pretty good turnout for the return of the Cobb Lunch UYEs. Crêpe Revolution is located in the mixed-use West Village development in Smynings(Smyrna-Vinings) along with Blue Moon, Five Guys, Lime, and McCray’s among other restaurants. The restaurant itself faces Atlanta Rd. This review is based solely on my lunch experience. At lunch, you order at the register up front, are given a placeholder with a number in it, and place it at your table while you wait for your order to arrive. Sodas are kept in a fridge behind the counter and water/ice and tea are self-serve out of dispensers in the main dining area. You can create your own crepes here, but I decided to go with a restaurant-made creation to be on the safe side since this was my first time. I ordered the Thai Chicken Purse crêpe, which consists of chicken, broccoli, and peanut sauce inside a fresh herb crêpe(there are five different types of crêpe batter — fresh herb is one of them). I was looking forward to a sweet and creamy Thai chicken crêpe, but what I tasted was disappointing. The chicken was chunky, dry, and bland. The peanut sauce was not very rich or flavorful. I noticed they added some sweet Thai chicken chili sauce on top to try make the crêpe more sweet and tangy, but it just didn’t work. I ordered fresh fruit for my side, which amounted to be a very small dish of purple grapes, a sliced strawberry or two, and a blackberry. I’m definitely getting the pasta salad next time. Apart from the lackluster dish, the server and manager were friendly and accommodating to our large and unannounced group, so that’s a plus. Dark, laid back environment inside. I’ll probably be back eventually to give their other crepes a shot.

I have been in search for a good Monte Cristo and I have finally found one! Whooo-hoooo! The minute you walk into this establishment, you are immediately greeted with smiles and friendly faces from the staff. I choose a seat at the bar where I could watch them make crepes. Good choice since I was rolling solo. This kept me entertained. Carlos(one of the cooks) was kind enough to customize my Monte Cristo and it was DELISH!!! Yummy!!! The waitress would check on my often to make sure everything was satisfactory, another waiter checked on me as well, the owner sat down with me and introduced himself-also making sure that everything was to my liking. I really liked how everyone was personable, they made me feel very welcomed, and they made it known to me how much theye appreciated my business and that they hope I come back which I will.

We went for the first time awhile back for my father-in-laws birthday dinner. There were four of us, and we actually had a certificate for it. I just want to state for the record that I am not really a fan of crepes. I had only had sweet crepes before, and just didn’t find any appeal in them. Savory crepes have opened my eyes. Yum! The dynamic is totally changed when used for savory dishes. I loved my pork crêpe that I ordered. I tried Justin’s pot roast crêpe I think, and it too was very good. We did order dessert crepes, and the banana foster was alright, but again… sweet and crêpe just don’t work for me for some reason. Either way I am more than will to go back. They had lots of menu choices that sounded so good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Delicious! We’d planned our visit for lunch on the last day of our vacation after we’d returned to the city. I ordered the salmon crêpe, and the man had the monte cristo. My crêpe was perfect. If you like smoked salmon and goat cheese, you’ll love it. The man’s only off putting ingredient was the jam. The crepes come with your choice of home fries, or a side salad. You will not need any salt or pepper, just your fork. They also offer old fashioned bottled soda’s. The root beer is diet, but I love root beer so that didn’t mean a thing to me. The sweet crepes… be prepared. We decided to take the sweet crepes to go. We even ordered one for his mom, they had a nutella crêpe! I ordered bananas foster, and he had the cookies and cream. You ever order something and then taste what someone else ordered and you’re a little jealous. You will not be! They are equallly tastey, all I could think was great now which one will I oder when I go back. I’ve decided to get through the sweet crêpe menu before I do any repeats. Go and give it a try, you wont be dissapointed.

This place is top notch! If you like crepes and can never decide which one to get, this is the place for you. Their menu changes from lunch to dinner, and the owner is always at the door to greet you. I love their dessert crepes which come with a variety of fillings and toppings(ice cream too!). But for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, their savory crepes hit the spot. You wont be disappointed!

Friday, raining, disgusting amount of traffic, and a not very happy me. I was already in the shopping center and figured that a nutella crêpe certainly couldn’t hurt my mood. I opened the door to Crêpe Revolution and was totally shocked at the surroundings. I don’t know why, but I had expected a super casual, flourescent light kind of place. Instead, it’s rather upscale, with wood accents and a beautiful bar(score!!). In some ways, it reminded me of one of my all time happy places: a teeny tiny crêpe joint in Burlington VT. Add in the free wifi(thanks Skyblox!) and you’ve got yourself a killer spot. The greeter/hostess/order taker was super friendly and just had one of those faces/smiles you can’t help but be attracted to. And not attracted in *that* way, you pervs, but instead in the way where you can’t help but smile back, and you kinda want to be her friend. Hey lady, want to hang out some time? I swear I’m cool… sometimes. We could eat crepes together! Or, you know, anything else: you’re probably sick of crepes. Ok, moving on! I ordered up a nutella and strawberry crêpe, and it rang in just a smidge above $ 5. All in all pretty reasonable for a mid-afternoon sinful snack, especially in a place with digs this nice. While I waited a man(I assume the manager) made sure I was taken care of, and quickly I was on my way back out the door with crêpe in hand. And, as you’d expect a nutella and strawberry crêpe to be, it was delicious. Absolutely smothered in the good stuff with big fresh strawberries. Totally lifted my spirits. Despite the distance, I’m really starting to love this West Village complex and all that it has to offer. Yep, I’ll be back.
