This store has the best staff. They have always worked with us to get the best deal. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I spend about $ 600 – 800 a month on video games at various game stores across Tennessee. I went into a GameStop trying to return a game I had a double of. Sold to me as «new» but didn’t have the sticker on it. The employee couldn’t find my info on my GameStop PowerUP Rewards card even though it was in the system, so I had to go home, find my receipt, and return the game I had a double of sold as «new» to me without the plastic seal on the side even though the game is technically opened and sold to me that way. The managers at the other GameStops I go to were shocked they wouldn’t take my return knowing how much I purchase there. Fast forward to today, same thing, I had three doubles of games from a purchase 2 days ago. Two were sealed, one was not sealed but didn’t have that plastic sticker on the side. Besides the guy giving me dirty looks when I walked in from 2 days ago, he wouldn’t honor the return and I kid you not I had $ 200 in DS games ready to purchase on the counter. I was told to «go back to the other GameStop» to return it even though I only went there on my lunch break at work and this one was closer to my house. The last straw was when the employee stated«GameStop new games are not«new» once they leave the store. So at this point he was still about to ring me up and I would have rather had the other employee who was much nicer but he refused, making me even more irate. The fact of the matter is, I’m about to spend $ 200 in your store. I took my business elsewhere the other day at another GameStop and bought $ 200 in stuff and this is how I am getting treated with 175000 GameStop PowerUp points and the tens of thousands of dollars I have spent there? I warn everyone to stay away from this particular GameStop and go to the one by Nissan instead. It was appalling and ridiculous and there is a good reason places with employees like this(see why Maddy’s Hot Dogs also ended up closing) end up having insubordinate workers and subpar sales. By the way, the first time I tried to return were 2 $ 9.99 Nintendo DS Games and the second time a $ 14DS game. Really.

Not the friendliest location. We prefer the one off of Nissan. The employees at this one seem unmotivated and careless. At the Nissan location, they always chat about the different games, and don’t just try to upsell you by pressuring your to preorder something.

I know this is a chain but this is my story. At this location they had a layaway around Christmas. My son wanted an XBOX360250gb. So I put one on layaway in late October. I always was informed layaway meant, they had your item in stock, when you make your final payment, they give it to you. In my case I go to make my final payment 2 weeks before Christmas. The guy says they stopped making that 250GB Xbox. You have to by the 4 gb and then pay $ 200.00 for a harddrive to clip on. I said I want my XBOX the one I’ve paid on for the past 2 months. So i said screw it I’ll get it some where else give me my $ back now! They ranted«you won’t find what you want anywhere else». 20 minutes later I walked out of Radio Shack with what I wanted. My son got what he wanted and Gamestop lost a custumer. I will now do my shopping online or Radio Shack. It’s kind of a forgotten place. But they are super friendly, great prices and full of things you would’nt expect. Gamestop screwed me over. I will avoid their stores for now on.
