My friend and I go to Hudson Grille almost every Friday evening for happy hour, so on this particular Friday we wanted to switch it up a bit, so we decided to stop by this spot. This was not my first visit to this spot, I had gone with a few friends over the summer, and I remember having a nice time on the patio. My friend and I ordered a pitcher of margaritas and Hookahs for two. We also purchased a round of shots, initially we were told that the shots were on the house and the bartender actually took a shot with us,(later putting them on our tab… even his own). Since we thought the first round of shots were on the house we ordered another round, the bartender shot was clear this time(probably water). I ordered nachos for one(really, really good nachos). Another Pitcher of Frozen Margarita was sent over to our table from some nice guy at the bar. THANKBOO!!! After, dancing and having a great time, we begin to wrap things up, so the tab came out… We had been charged for both pitchers, the hookahs, 6 rounds of fireball shots, the food and a fee that said other. Lol. We inquired about the«other» charge first, and told them to remove the pitcher that was purchase for us and questioned the rounds of fireball. We were told the other charge was a gratuity because they didn’t charge a cover charge. Frustrated and probably a little tipsy I demanded he remove the 18 percent charge… I mean, we were not a party of 8 and I refuse to pay a bar more than I pay my Church (hahahahahaha… 10%). If you want to charge a cover charge than charge a cover charge, but don’t be swindling people out of their money through gratuities(get your mind right). And about that server/bartender guy, trying to play us with those shots… we paid for them this time, but never again buddy!!! Be Ware… read your receipts!!! *Nice place *Good music *Good Food *No Happy Hour Specials /pricey *Nice size dance floor. FYI: We were back at Hudson Grille the following Friday. LOL

Thursday night, football is on(no sound), club music playing, good drink prices and very attentive staff. Played pool @ $ 2 a game. Didn’t order food or hookah so can’t comment on that, but I like it as a 30 something night out away from our toddler, lol.

Ok I read the reviews before I went. I noticed people talking about the drinks were really bad. So I was thinking well management had to see these reviews and corrected the problem. I mean the reviews were months ago. So Wednesday night I’m bored I drive out to J’s lounge it looked really nice inside. So I called a friend and asked her to come and meet me. Then I order a Hennessy and coke to be on the safe side can’t go wrong with that. So I get my 1st drink and it tastes like a class of cold soda. So I’m like ok let me try something different. There’s only 2 people behind the bar a young lady and a middle aged man. So the first drink she made. I try to get the guys attention he ignored me twice so now I’m like feeling some type of way. There’s only about 5 people in the building the guy looks me in the face and walk off. So I get the young lady’s attention I order a hookah and a frozen margarita. She asked me is it with salt or sugar. So I said salt please. This is where things got really bad. While she’s making the margarita the guy comes over and tell her not to put a lot of liquor in my drink. So I asked why. He walks off ignores me again. When I get the drink I was so pissed but how about the young lady put a ton of salt in the margarita rather than around the rim. OMG I swear I was literally chewing salt. I took the drink back said I’m closing my tab. She was like you don’t want the drink I said no its full of salt. I swear she told me «I CANTAKETHESALTOUTIFYOUWANTMETO»… I just smiled said no thank you paid and left before my date arrived. I WILLNOTBEGOINGBACKEVERAGAIN…

Me and my boyfriend went here last night. Great atmosphere, tasty food, yummy hookah — service was just kinda slow. But so much space to freely move around and meet new people.

Loved this place. Went there for some hookah and food a few months back, and it was a great price while being fun to be in. You definitely should check it out.

They don’t know how to mix the drinks. the hookah is really bad. I ordered Orange mint hookah once they brought it for me it was already burned! By the way the hookah size was very small! I don’t Recommend this place to anyone! That was the worst experience I had! I will never go back! They don’t even deserve the one star I’m giving them!

So I used to love coming here. The people are friendly and drinks are decent. The hookahs are decently priced compared to some of the other places. The food is even pretty decent… Here lies the problem Do. Not. Advertise. DOZEN. Wings!!! If you’re only going to serve TEN. Guess what? I can count. I told the server because I thought it was an honest mistake. She comes back and gave a flimsy excuse that it’s bigger than their usual wings. Really? Then advertise you sell by the pound or hey, here’s an idea, tell the customer when you order that because the wings are bigger, you will only get term wings. Don’t cheap out on two wings. You can keep your shady dealings.

My girlfriend and I really tried to support this local business. We’ve ignored and put up with the bartenders not knowing how to make drinks(there own drinks that were on the menu…) and having to call the owner to make them, ashy/subpar hookah coals, hookahs that consistently had broken hoses, inconsistent music flavor by the locals in the juke box(from our favorite; edm, to oldies, to rap, to R&B, to Mexican conjunto and norteño, to polka and even country…). But what finally was the icing on the cake was when we ordered their dozen wings and only got 10. We thought it was surely an honest mistake and inquired about it. When the waitress came back she regurgitated the words that the people from the kitchen had told her. Even she didn’t seem like she believed the words coming out of her mouth; «yes they said it is because these wings are larger than our usual wings». We starred at each other and then starred back at her dumbfounded, waiting for the rest of her great customer oriented solution, just to find out that it was her final resolution. We said ok and she basically shrugged and walked away as we sat there confused. Needless to say we are not going there anymore. Just buy your own hookah and as poor of a mixologist that you may be, you can still make better drinks at home.

Was pretty empty for a Friday night, the music was way to loud. Food was decent and priced fairly. The bartender didn’t know what a purple haze was nor did she try to find out. She was pretty boring, didn’t interact with my friend and I.

This is a cool little spot. The music is international and definitely welcoming. I enjoy the $ 3 shots and beer specials. The bartenders are very friendly. I’ve been here on a Saturday afternoon and a Friday night. The Friday night was a little more lively Nice, cheap spots. Typical bar. Nothing spectacular

I dont get here as much as I like, but it is pretty good. It used to be a Bulgarian restaurant, still is if you pay close attention… Things always change every time I go, but they food is great, Im sad its more smoker/drinker centric now. Get the chicken hearts, exotic and delicious.

I think the only thing this place has against it is the fact that more people simply don’t know that it’s there. I started going before the built the lounge area and the outdoor bar and even then I told the owners that they have a diamond in the rough. As of now, this place is one of the nicest bars/lounges in the area. Positives: Very nice and well kept. HUGE imported beer selection. If you’re a beer drinker, try the beer called before and after. Be warned though, it’s 12% alcohol. Food is great. I recommend the chicken skewer and fries. Not overly loud and noisy. Friendly staff. Negatives: Honestly, I think the only thing that some would consider to be negative is that there isn’t a larger crowd. There are those that prefer to be around the larger crowds so with it being so laid back they may not be inclined to return. This isn’t a negative for me at all because I don’t care for the crowds, but I knew it would be a issue for some.

Pretty chill place. It was pretty dead because me and my coworkers came on a Sunday at 7 but it was still fun. Our bartender Tina was very helpful and took really good care of us. I recommend the raspberry passion drink, soooo good! A great place to chill at after work.

In one word… awesome. J’s lounge is one of those places that is hard to miss but easy to drive past, if you know what I mean. Their flashing colorful lights are attention grabbing but the signage could use some work. However, signage aside, this place is awesome! The atmosphere is very laid back but has an upscale 80’s-like flare to it. Neon lights decorate the interior and exterior, giving the place a funky lounge vibe without making it look cheap or taking away from the fact that it IS for adults only. There are 2 separate bars with an incredible variety and selection, couches, plenty of seating around the bar and other high tops, a separate room containing 3 pool tables, a dance floor, and an outdoor patio. To top it all off, it is open until 3am, which is perfect for people like me who get bored in the middle of the night and want a close place to have a drink without throwing on heels and makeup. Oh and did I mention it’s a hookah bar?! This place just couldn’t get any better. It’s almost impossible to describe the place without wondering how so many great things can be rolled into one… which is why I was surprised that more people don’t go here! I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon just to check it out and was pleasantly surprised to find a friendly bartender, Brian, who hooked me up with a nice drink and interesting convo! I’m usually not the type to step into a bar alone or engage the bartender in deep conversation, but this time was different. Brian and I talked for a couple hours, after which I went home. I was so impressed, I told my friend about it and we both went back a couple hours later! He absolutely loved it too. We stayed and had a couple drinks-Brian had already memorized mine– and ate. The food was good, and although the prices aren’t bad, the portions could be a little larger. We had wings, spinach & artichoke dip, and mozzarella sticks and enjoyed it all. Bottom line… if you’re looking for a cool, laid back place to hang out for a drink, grab a bite to eat, or hookah, this is the place. And it’s so convenient for us Cobb county residents who don’t always want to go downtown or to Buckhead in search of a nice place to hangout. It’s definitely worth stopping by!
