The food is great but the service is very slow at 4pm on a Friday night. They should allot for more servers knowing that their patrons always come in after skiing and before dinner.

The Bar Tender at Vue lounge is very 7÷16÷152120 hrs… He is unprofessional & upset at the operation. He is throwing things & being very rude to the customers & the servers. He needs relieved of his duties immediately. A very unpleasant experience to come to this location to relax, only to be subject to this type of person representing the Westin & Vue Lounge!!!

Had dessert and drinks. It cost $ 80 for two people. The chocolate flatbread was a joke. It was literally plain flatbread with Nutella spread and canned strawberries. Had two martini’s that cost $ 40 when tip included. Only saving grace was the atmosphere. Unfortunately I am staying at the westin and don’t have another option for hotel bar service. Go anywhere else for a drink and snack. Venga venga is better and close. Disappointing.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We spend a lot of time in Aspen & Snowmass and I am always impressed by the restaurants and amazing food and impeccable service. We went for dinner on Saturday evening about 7pm, the bar area was fairly busy and outside dining was a little busy but not crazy. It took FOREVER for our waitress to come and bring menus and ask us if we would like a cocktail. Then she never came back to take our orders, we had to flag her down when she was at the table next to ours and she seemed annoyed when we asked if we could order. Once we finally ordered, it took over an hour to get our meals and we ordered a Caeser salad, a pizza, a hot turkey sandwich, and another salad. She did not come back once to apologize for the food taking so long and let us know the status or even ask if we would like another round. I had asked her if we could get some bread when we first sat down and she clearly forgot because she never brought us any. Finally I inquired at the bar if someone could please check on our order because we should have at least gotten our orders by then. She appeared at that moment and said the restaurant was so busy(which it wasn’t). I again asked about the bread which she said she would«try» to bring and asked what the status of our food was and she said she«didn’t know.» Finally after about an hour and a half our food arrived. My boyfriend’s dad had asked for extra anchovies on his salad and they brought the salad with no anchovies at all. When I asked her if she could please bring him some she said she would«try» but the kitchen was very busy so she wasn’t sure if it would be possible. My mushroom pizza was very doughy and tasteless and there were not a lot of mushrooms on it and no sauce. It was very dry and weird tasting. My salad was fresh but very basic, nothing to be impressed about. My boyfriend got a hot turkey sandwich which he said was fine– not bad but not really good either. The bill was over $ 100 and for mediocre food and horrendous service I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are so many places in Snowmass Village to go to I would definitely bypass this one. Even the table next to us was joking with us about how bad the service was– they had to ask to order drinks– just soda, which took at least a ½ hour to come out too!

We love to go on weekdays in the summer when there are not a lot of folks there. During the off-season it’s not hard to get a spot at the bar anytime. The only downside in the off-season is that they cut all of our favorites off the menu, but it’s understandable especially when almost everything else in town is closed. The Grilled Chicken Caesar IS still on the menu and it’s awesome!!! For their regular menu, just order a bunch of apps(they are amazing, trust me) with your drinks instead of going all-out. The app portions are hearty. Their entrees are pricey, although the salmon burger is really good. Our favorites: –SFC Bites(homemade honey drizzled chicken nuggets served with awesome BBQ sauce, bacon-y coleslaw, and basil watermelon balls) –Tempura Asparagus and Green Beans with aioli –Pulled Pork Nachos –Caesar Salad –Mixed Field Greens salad with beets, pickled onions, radish, and goat cheese. Dan is a great bartender and nice to chat with. The Vue gets 4 stars because they should hire some better bartenders to work on his days off. All in all, we highly recommend this spot! They treat locals really well which is nice.

Burgers: really meh for $ 18 Turkey sandwich: worst turkey sandwich my friend had ever had Pizza: friend from New York said crust wasn’t right, hardly any mushrooms on mushroom pizza and too much sauce for New Yorkers.(I personally thought sauce amount was ok) Service: spotty Really wish we had gone back to Venga Venga a second night instead of coming here. Nothing about this seemed exceptional or locally sourced. Mayonnaise and mustard were from Heinz and not made in house.
