Stopped in for an ice cream last weekend after hiking. For two single scoop cones it came to $ 15. I even asked the cashier if that was an error and she said no, that’s how much it is. $ 7 for one scoop of ice cream is absolutely ridiculous.

Food is a little different, but amazingly good. Service was not as good as it could have been and food is a bit pricey, but delicious

I’m a little disappointed in the service here. We didn’t purchase any liquor, so we had no dealings with that part of the store. We’ve been to this place numerous times, when it had different names and different owners, and I’ve always been satisfied with the service and product, but it appears that things may unfortunately be going downhill in the espresso part of the store. Our drinks took a very long time to make for some reason, and when I saw that the barista was making my drink hot instead of iced, I told the cashier, who was extremely annoyed and said loudly, ‘All these drinks are supposed to be iced?!’(There were two drinks and no one else in the store at the time). I said, ‘No, just the one.’ The cashier proceeded to go back to the machine and talk under her breath to the barista. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to get my drink iced or I would have to live with the hot one in order to avoid further unpleasant experiences. Eventually, she did give me my drink, but made it clear that she was very irritated. It was an odd experience. Later, as we went home, my husband noticed his drink had some kind of floaties in it; like the drink hadn’t been mixed. Just weird.

So grateful to have found this. There’s a diner in town too but I just didn’t have the stomach for a big greasy breakfast. Cougar has a liquor store on one side and a cute little café on the other. It definitely has a more refined feeling than anywhere else for miles. We got a breakfast sandwich and a fruit and yogurt cup. The coffee was good and there was a giant vat of ice water. Gotta love the ice water. They have a full espresso bar and ice cream too. I highly recommend stopping in for a nice light breakfast Ps…yeah the name made me giggle lol

What a gem! This will be my stop for coffee on way to lake house and worth the drive back in the morning for a good coffee and breakfast. I can honestly say this is the best Iatte I have ever had. It is a fun place, great service, breakfast was amazing. Fun shop, great people. You need to stop in!

A couple years ago a Furniture Store/Tanning Salon/Café occupied this historic building and I always loved coming up from Ephrata to have a coffee or beer and use the wifi. Cougar Liquor seems like an even better place to hang out because they’ve filled up the space and made it a more interesting, vibrant place. I didn’t venture over to the liquor shop, it seemed to occupy the north half of the building. Although I did not see any cougars here – which was a disappointment – if I lived in the Soap Lake area I’d definitely hang out at Cougar Liquor.

Wow, what a find!!! This is an awesome place… part liquor store, part amazing restaurant, part delicious espresso stand, and all around a great place to hang out. My fiancé and I visited Soap Lake for Labor Day weekend and found ourselves coming back here 2 mornings in a row for breakfast. Everything we ate was wonderful, the owner and employees were really accomodating, and they even let us have our dog with us on the front patio. Décor is really fun too, lots of great Cougar stuff :) We will definitely be back!!!
