I have been this location a couple of times only to get sodas, I have always been skeptical of the food. My sister and I went to get hot dogs after we were done with school. After we had left, we were eating them and saw mold all over one of the buns! We went back to get a refund on all 4 hot dogs and at first they only gave us one. My sister said we didn’t feel comfortable eating any and we would like a FULL refund. He gave us our money and on our way out, he was muttered a rude comment. Never going here again!!!

Great location — horrible service. We had rented a U-Haul and needed to fill it before returning — as I didn’t know how much it would take, I went in with a credit card for them to hold while I filled it. This was about 3:20PM on Wednesday, April 1. The attendant insisted I need to provide them an amount — although I said I didn’t know how much it would take — «can’t I just do a fill up?» I asked. He said very rudely, «we don’t do fill ups here — if you want to fill up, go across the street to Shell.» Being a business owner, I can only imagine what AMPM management would think if they knew their employees cared so little about the store’s revenue. FYI, the AMPM in Carmel Valley has similar service issues — we don’t use it either because of this. The only reason I used this AMPM is due to it’s proximity to U-Haul. Unbelievable!

These guys are horrible and break the law according to Weight’s and Measures. Plus they discriminate against service dogs because they don’t understand the laws in America like the Americans with Disabilities Act. I’m an American War Veteran and I shouldn’t be treated with such disrespect in my own country. I might seek legal action. I have some veteran friends that became lawyers?

I like this store. During the Fair it’s busy but any other time, it’s doable. I like that they have a capp machine. Add frothy milk or flavored capp to your cup of Joe. Slurpee’s and all the snacks you can manage. The parking is iffy, not a lot of spots and can get nutty when it’s busy, but like I said, most of the year, it’s not a problem.

Pros: great selections if snacks and drinks. Location is pretty easy from the freeway. Cons: difficult to get back on the freeway. Always has super sketchy people loitering around. Don’t stop here unless your gas light is on.

Decent deals on food and drinks but sometimes there are sketchy individuals hanging around. The bathroom seems to be out of order quite a bit of the time, not that I would want to use it. Prices are better than they charge for gas.

I am realizing that I have an addiction to cracked pepper sunflower seeds. I was introduced to them by the parents on my son’s baseball team(damn them) and now cannot seem to get them out of my head. So what does THAT have to do with AM/PM you ask? Well AM/PM is one of the few places that sells them… that’s what. As with any AM/PM, this is a junk foodies paradise and I am happy to say I have NEVER eaten any of their food. Regardless, as with all, they have everything imaginable; food, drinks, etc. and the gas is usually quite a bit cheaper than other stations however they will not accept credit cards. This place is conveniently located off of Via de la Valle to the West of the 5 Freeway so on /off freeway access is a breeze. This store seems to be a little older and was a bit dirty but I wasn’t there as a health inspector, but rather to curb my addiction.

Oh… my…god. Where else can you go to get breakfast, lunch, dinner and all your beverages for before, during and after your meals? And did I mention this location also has the cheapest gas in town? Oh wow, this is almost too much to take in… seriously, I was choking on a corn dog. Hot damn! Hot damn, I say. Why deal with the stress of getting in shape when what really makes me happy is walking out of a 24 hour junk joint with a bag full of BBQ sandwich, corn dog, sausage dog, Slim Jim, 24oz. Monster and a 40oz. to freedom? I have no reasonable answer to that question. Eating bad just feels so much better. The only reason this ampm location doesn’t get 5 stars is because I’m pretty positive that I won’t be able to speak in English to the people behind the counter within the next year and expect them to understand me. I’m not even going into that subject, but let’s just say I would appreciate being treated with the same kindness as they gave their compatriot standing in line in front of me. Queue outrage by overly sensitive numpties…
