Sadly, Jay at Cedros Café lost his least and closed down. Most of Solana Beach is heartbroken to lose this treasure. We will Miss you Jay.

Spent Father’s Day breakfast here. What a gorgeous day to spend on their nice big sunny patio. The menu isn’t a large one but has enough diversity for breakfast. We had scrambles, a Western with ham and cheese and mine was the Spanish with spinach and I subbed for goat cheese. The size of these scrambles were large! They came with a choice of grain, white or english muffins and a bit of fruit. They offer a lot of smoothie options and their acai smoothie was fantastic. My son had the ham and cheese croissant and it was huge and so flaky and buttery with eggs, cheese and ham. It was so rich and yummy. They offer self serve coffee, have a gal outside making the omelets and also have other baked goods to choose from. We will definately be back.

I love this area and Cedros Café is a great place to grab a bite! My husband and I stopped here and got wraps and tea. I highly recommend the Baja wrap and the passion tea! Service was very friendly and helpful.

If you dissect their chicken wrap and throw out the half head of iceberg lettuce they’ve managed to fit inside it doesn’t taste half bad.

Super chill breakfast place in the heart of Cedros Street. Tasty bagel with egg and bacon, a great way to start the day. Über attentive wait staff. Highly recommended.

This was good for a quick, reasonably priced brunch. However, I was not extremely impressed by the cuisine, which was somewhat ordinary.

We were just strolling down Cedros and decided to stop here to have a mimosa and sit in the sun. Although the mimosa was delicious and made with fresh squeezed OJ, I thought it was a little spend for the tiny flute it came in. The service was quick and friendly, but next time I might go somewhere else for a drink.

I work in the area and during my lunch break, wondered in to Cedros Café. First I tried their Chicken Tortilla soup. I was amazed! It hit the spot for my craving for«something warm and snuggly». It was even better when I found out that it is homemade by the owners wife! Yum! I also tried their Soyo Bowl and it was equally spectacular! Will be back again.

I’m 6 years old and I really liked this restaurant. It has a nice outside eating area. The food was very good. I had eggs, sausage and apple juice.

Had Sunday brunch here. The food is fine, but not worth the wait. Plus breakfast ends at noon? What is this, McDonald’s? There are plenty of other brunch spots in the area that seem to want your business. Try one of them instead.

I work down the street, have eaten here for two years and am continually amazed! At least ½ of the time, I stop, look at the food and wonder«how is this stuff so good and why don’t other restaurants catch on to this ‘delicious food’ thing. Seriously i don’t get it the stuff here tastes SO good! They do delivery Here are my favorites Tuscan Chicken French Dip or whatever it is called Beef Baja Chicken Wrap(put hot sauce on it) Turkey Florentine Sorry to get enthusiastic but someone gotta say something! Gotta catch people doing a good job and thank them! Thank you Cedros Café (From the bottom of my stomach, lol)

The soy chorizo breakfast burrito is soooo flavorful; I’m never disappointed. Not to mention their tastey, homemade salsa. I usually add black beans & avo to mine, which is pretty much heaven in a tortilla. If you want to start your morning right, this is the way to go. Their coffee is also fantastic; not acidic & very smooth. I enjoy a double cappuccino, myself, because they make it perfect. Staff is friendly & fast with orders. Enjoy!!!

Not a lot to say with Cedros Café. It’s pretty straightforward. It’s a small place with a patio outside on Cedros Ave with good food, tasty coffee drinks and some great people watching. I’ve had both breakfast and lunch here a few times and haven’t been disappointed in my selections. The egg dishes are good. Not super great, but solid. The thing that I love here is when they have the tomato soup. It’s damn tasty, especially when ordered with a grilled cheese sammich. Another favorite of mine is the french dip. I hadn’t had one for a million years and I’m glad that this was the one I chose to enjoy when I did. The sauce was delicious, the meat was tender and sliced thin. All kinds of good stuff! Minus about ¾ of a star(can I do that?) because the service is a little slow and the food takes a tad too long to come out of the kitchen. Then again, it’s nice to know that your food is being prepared fresh.

I was meeting my family nearby at the local farmer’s market, but the kids were hungry and we couldn’t wait any longer. We have been to this neighborhood before, but never eaten at the Cedros Café. It looked inviting, not crowded and had a kid friendly menu so we decided to sit and eat. There is a nice sized patio out front with a few tables and chairs inside. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table when it’s ready. I grabbed a menu from the basket as we walked in. Staff were friendly and handed my wife a menu since she was sharing and looking over my shoulder. She ordered the Acai bowl. It came with bananas, strawberries and shaved coconut. It was good. The girls said it tasted like sorbet since they didn’t know what acai was. The girls just wanted a bowl of soup and croissant. I ordered a half panini sandwich, bowl of soup and side salad the came with the tuscan chicken sandwich, tomato soup. The sandwich has a grilled chicken breast and is served on sourdough with pesto, sun dried tomato, mozzarella, fresh tomato and basil. Hit the spot for a quick lunch. If we’re in the area again, we’d have a tough time deciding between local spots for a bite to eat now that we’ve found Cedros Café. Keep on Unilocal’n!

I love this cute and welcoming spot for breakfast/lunch/snack attack soothing. It’s next to Leaping Lotus, only the coolest place to shop in Solana Beach(and arguably the entire north county region of San Diego!) But back to Cedros Café. I’ve always had great service here. The entire staff gives you quality attention and is helpful and courteous. I’ve had the Breakfast Burrito with Soy Chorizo, the Acai Smoothie and the B.L.T. Sandwich. These starvation-busters aimed to please and didn’t miss their mark, as my happy stomach will attest! The indoor area is pretty small, but the larger, outdoor patio area is nicer anyways and has plenty of seating. Eat here, and then work off your brunch by getting lost in the wonderland that is Leaping Lotus next door.

This is a nice, cute place on Cedros in Solana Beach. They have excellent food, delicious smoothies and great service. This is a great place to grab a bite when shopping along Cedros. They have everything from delicious paninis and sandwiches to an assortment of coffees and smoothies. There’s outside patio seating and a few tables indoors. The only downside is that it can take awhile to order on a busy weekend. I recommend the strawberry mango pineapple juice smoothie and French dip sandwich. Both are excellent! They share a parking lot with Leaping Lotus but you can usually find a spot on the street too.

What a cute little café! I met a friend for lunch and brought along my pug. The patio is comfortable, not huge, but plenty of room to dine with your pup. Always a plus in my book considering that my little one is practically glued to my side. :) We grabbed a menu and picked a seat outside. After deciding on our meals, my friend went back inside to place our orders and a few minutes later, they brought the food to our table. I ordered the French dip sandwich and I must say that it is one of the best French dips that I’ve ever had! It comes with swiss cheese, grilled onions(I would have preferred without but that’s my personal preference) and a side of au jus for dipping. The au jus was thicker than other places, where it has had more of a watery consistency. I much preferred this more substantial variety. There was a great meat to bread ratio and the swiss cheese added a nice touch. The sandwich was large and plenty for me to have for leftovers. Splitting the sandwich makes two meals for $ 10. Not bad at all! It’s located right on Cedros. For some reason, my GPS told me it was on the left side of the street a few hundred feet from the actual location, which is on the right side when coming from Via de la Valle. Luckily, I kept driving and happened to find a parking spot right in front.

I had a very nice breakfast bagel with bacon, eggs, cheddar, lettuce, and tomatoes on a sesame toasted bagel( ) with a refreshing ice tea. The place is very causal and comfortable. They place your utensils and napkins in a little cool rectangular box.( ) The breakfast bagel was very good. The bagel was lightly toasted which gave the bagel a nice outside munch. The inside was filled with the well cooked egg, melted cheddar, and crispy lettuce and fresh tomatoes.( ) The best part was the very crispy and expertly fried bacon. It tasted great and it put a smile on my face.( ) Overall, it was a great bagel breakfast sandwich. The people who work here are super friendly and sincere about their offerings. They have a few seats inside, but plenty of seating out in front on their patio.( ) They also offer an omelet station on the weekends for breakfast.
