Pegasus Pilates

I’ve been taking private Pilates classes for at least 1 year, maybe 1.5 years. She is very knowledgeable about the human body and all aspects of working your muscles efficently… most of all the studio is a great space that I look foward to going to. I am happy to say she makes class fun and I’m always amazed how fast an hour goes by! She is my teacher and friend… I LOVE Pegasus Pilates!!!

Jennifer is amazing! I purchased a series of classes on Groupon. They expired due to medical reasons. I contacted Jennifer and she was so pleasant and helpful! She started the series over for me. She was so nice about it and so happy to help me!!! Then I got to start taking classes! We have so much fun! Jennifer is so personable and knowledgeable. She knows just how to explain how to do each position and if you are having trouble, she is hands on and helps you. You never feel bad about needing help. The classes are small and her clients are so nice! We get to chatting while we are exercising and it really feels like such a cozy way to get your workouts in!!! I am so happy I found Jennifer and Pegasus Pilates!!!

I go to the Aerial Hammock classes here. I like the way Jennifer varies the classes, its not the same old routine every time. It seems like the time flies, and most of all its fun. I think its an excellent complement if you practice yoga because the hammock helps you get in to stretches that you might not otherwise be able to do on the floor poses. You defiantly can’t hang upside down in yoga.
The studio space is always clean and everyone there is friendly! The classes sizes are small which makes it feel like you’re going to work out with your friends. Its like a boutique gym.

Pegasus is hands down THE BEST pilates studio! This place has amazing energy. Jennifer is absolutely brilliant at providing direction to make sure you always get the most out of class and safety is high priority. She is extremely talented and caring — the best instructor ever! It is everything I ever wished for in a studio — I am so grateful to have found this gem. Pegasus is my sanctuary — I highly recommend it!

Taking classes from Pegasus Pilates is an amazing way to take some time out of the day for your healthy self. Jennifer really cares about making sure you get the work out that works best for you. The classes are intimate and comfortable. I highly recommend this Pilates studio for you!

I’ve been doing Pilates for many years and was concerned on my recent move to San Diego if I would be able to find a Pilate’s instructor that would be as good as my last. Not only is Jennifer a great instructor, she is herself in great shape and practices what she teaches. This is an important factor for me. I chose to have one on one visits and she is able to accommodate my schedule by providing me with a very early time slot. Her studio is very comfortable and she not only provides Pilate’s training but also does canopy, bar and pole. I’m looking forward to trying one of these in the future. Jennifer explains every move as well as demonstrates them. She watches very carefully to make sure you are getting the most out of your session by using your body the way the exercise is meant to be done.
The other favorite part of my visits are to be greeted by Boingo, Jennifer’s Pug. He is very friendly and stays on his bed during your session. His job is to greet you when you arrive and say good-​bye when you leave and he does it very well!
I highly recommend Jennifer and Pegasus Pilates, I’m not easy to please when it comes to a fitness instructor and studio. In this case I am overly impressed.

This Pilate’s studio is amazing. I have a herniated disk and the owner worked with me one on one. She is very knowledgeable and careful to make sure I did not aggravate my injury and helped me build muscle in the areas I needed to protect my back. It is very well kept and I love the fact it is not an over populated gym and it gives you a sense of belonging.

I love this place! Jennifer is very knowledgable, makes the classes fun, and is fantastic at working around any injuries you might have. I used to go to Sculpt in Solana Beach a lot and some of the bar studios in town, but after a back injury I realized those classes were doing more harm than good. I now do a combo at Pegasus of reformer pilates classes, and Jennifer’s bar classes (a very challenging workout, with some similar movements to other bar classes, but with a focus on alignment and positioning so you don’t put unneeded stress on your joints and back).
Jennifer is also great to work with if you’re an equestrian — she has done dressage and jumping and many of her clients are riders (including myself) and her routines really help you build the muscles you need to ride better.

If you are looking for a kick ass Pilates instructor look no farther ! Jennifer is as legit as they get… I left here sore in the besssssst possible way, eager to come back for more!!! Thank you Jennifer– come summer time, I have a feeling my swimsuit is gonna thank you as well ;-)

I highly recommend Pegasus Pilates! The group class schedule is great because I can get my work out without breaking the bank. The rates are very reasonable and there is always a class that will fit in my schedule.
The studio is very comfortable, and everyone there is great. I’ve been going for about a month now and I can already feel & see a difference. I have biceps!

This small studio is the perfect environment to get your body in shape! Jennifer is very friendly, sweet and motivating. She pushes you to the limit, makes you laugh and combines different elements each session. She keeps it challenging and fun! This is such a cute, clean, bright, inviting little studio you will want to come back for more! Also, I love that you can sign up for classes online– makes it easier for everyone. If you want to try a new way to exercise, you have got to try Pegasus Pilates! I started out here because of an injury and Jennifer (the owner/​instructor) has been so attentive to that. And as I got stronger and more active, Jennifer has been very supportive of advancing my exercises in a safe, healthy, and challenging way. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my body. Jennifer is incredibly friendly and approachable about any concerns or questions. The environment at Pegasus is intimate and you don’t get lost in a class of 20 or 30 people. You get so much more attention to good form and proper positioning. And the prices are the best! I consider myself a savvy shopper, and Pegasus offers such great quality sessions at affordable prices. I absolutely love it at Pegasus and will be going there for more and more sessions!

Highly recommend! Pegasus is a wonderful, quaint studio right on the 101 in Solana Beach. The prices are extremely fair and the classes are small with just 3 Stott Reformers available. Both private sessions and group classes are tailored to your level.
Jennifer, the owner, gives a well rounded workout with a variety of exercises. For group sessions, Jennifer has introduced me to some great other people here who are at my same fitness level. Even in group class, she utilizes a lot of props like pilates rings & fitness balls. The other instructor I train with is Nikki, who gives a great nonstop workout that is challenging and gets you sweating.
From my first day here, I have always been welcomed by warm faces and personalities. Even Boingo, the owner’s pug, is there to greet me a lot of the time. He sits on his bed during class and sleeps and snores mostly:) He adds a cute and fun element to the studio.
Pegasus also offers Mat, Barre & Pole classes which I have yet to try but I’ve heard they are a great workout and quite tough. One of these days…

After years spent running and over-​exercising, injuries forced me to slow down. I couldn’t find a way to stay fit without compromising my health until I found Jenifer at Pegasus Pilates. I’ve been working out at Pegusus Pilates now for a few years and am passionate about the program. Pilates keeps me fit, lean and strong. Jenifer has customized a program to fit my needs. Her workouts are challenging yet safe and effective. I’ve never felt better!

Jen’s studio pretty much has it all!
She’s so creative with the types of exercises she offers as well as with her approach in teaching these moves to others. She’s really patient, and makes sure to move each person along at her/​his own pace, offering everyone an appropriate challenge. Jen’s classes are perfect for anyone at any level, and the pole fitness classes are great for anyone who’s up for trying something new and exciting!
The studio itself is beautiful, even better since the redesign, and Boingo’s friendly hello is even more incentive to stop by. :)
