Went here after a training class for some South Indian food. I ate at the buffet, which was $ 13.95 for the week night(weekends are more money). The food was decent, but not that well stocked. The food was also in a random order and there wasn’t much direction on how to eat it. Thankfully there were some helpful employees there. I was also pleased with the spice as often times you get bland food or bland food that’s just covered in spices that burn your mouth off. It was decent, would probably go back again.

The worst buffet we experienced. Had lot of expectation but the food sucked. The dosa were extremely oily. I am not sure why they call it «Chicken Biryani» . We are never returning to this place.

Really 2.5 stars. Went for lunch buffet. Only 2 meat offerings. Chicken curry and fried chicken. Chicken curry was mostly bone. Not much in terms of variety. Dosa was ok. Was underwhelmed.

This place had good food. I will give them that, however they seemed to be very disorganized. We just kind of waited around for awhile before someone greeted us. The lunch buffet was good, although not the best I’ve ever had. I think I expected more from a place with glowing reviews. There isn’t any ambience! Expect the worst for ambience, and maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

As two senior citizens of European ancestry, I felt like we were replaying the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. The predominance of young Indian families gave me confidence in its authenticity. I wanted to expose my husband to Indian food and felt that the buffet setting would be a good start for him as he could have small tastes of many items. They had an excellent variety of Indian dishes and everything was fresh and tasty. It was quite crowded on Sunday afternoon but we were seated promptly and it was easy to serve oneself at the buffet. I wish this place were closer to us but it will be on our short list when we are in this area.

Have been here a few times, given that it is one of the only Karnataka cuisine restaurants in the area. Quality has deteriorated over the last few years, but the food is still decent. They have a decent buffet but it gets really packed and noisy. Also was pleasantly surprised to here some Kannada film oldies playing lol. Might visit again, but menu and food quality need improvement. I would also like to see more separation between the vegetarian and non-veg dishes, they were a little too close for comfort.

½ star. How in the world does this place get FOUR stars?! It’s Saturday! I arrive at 5:30PM Closed sign and open sign are both up… Someone opens the door and I sit and wait. It’s VERYNOISY in the kitchen and people are running around the restaurant in t-shirts and pants. Buffet opens at 6. I order from menu. It took over 30 minutes to get my food. Buffet opened about 6:15. A family of 4 is there now. Service is TERRIBLE! The place looks a bit dilapidated and it smells bad. I almost left, but too hungry. Food was not bad, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

I do not know how to feel about this establishment. A friend recommended it to me to try authentic South Indian food. However, I believe I was too inexperience to know how to eat the food. Thank goodness it was a buffet, so much trial and error. The food was wonderful and a whole new experiences. The curry was too watery to mix with the rice for my opinion, but it was bad for dipping with the bread. Sadly, some of the trays of the food they have offered were cold and weren’t heated properly altering the taste of the food. I will probably try to come back again to see if that day was just a bad day.

Good solid Indian buffet for a decent price. The waitstaff is attentive and polite. Only complaint is that sometimes the buffet food gets cold. Curry is a little watery compared to what I’m used to but I think that’s the southern Indian style. Sometimes not much variety in the curry. Fried red chicken is my favorite.

Used to be my favorite restaurants when I was in New Jersey… Its very hard to find an all you can eat South Indian buffet especially Karnataka cuisine… They had this mini-masala dosas, tiny idlis, vadas, prawn biriyani, hot gulab jamuns etc. Yes, its a bit pricey but for the food they offer, its definitely worth it to taste food as close to home food. I might have given them 5 stars but the main issue I found that even after 2 years, they had the same menu everyday but hardly any changesand it got boring after a while… and also the staffs became a bit cocky and showed attitude that they are ready to lose few customers as its a popular destination for Indians…

The best Indian cuisine. The best Karnataka food. Wonderful, friendly and fast service. Good number of varieties of food for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Keep up the good work.

I’d give this place a 5 star if it had some ambience. I have only been there for the Buffet which is fantastic with variety of items. My favorite is the Shrimp Biryani! and Goat. Customer service is very good! Will definitely return here.

This is one of my most favorite Indian restaurants and it is also a buffet! For many people who don’t eat Indian food it can seem daunting since there are so many different varieties and so many different dishes that can sometimes look similar. At a buffet you can encourage yourself to try as many dishes as you’d like and be adventurous in learning a new name of the dish or trying something you didn’t think you would try out before. I’ve been to this buffet a few times and have always been very satisfied with my meal. Once in awhile it can get a bit spicy for me but I’ve learned to manage what is spicy and what is not spicy and how much to eat of it. The restaurant is known for its dosas that come straight to your table from waiters straight from the kitchen. The restaurant also serves chicken and lamb dishes which I find very delectable and satisfying. There is also a yogurt sauce that I really enjoy and put on almost everything that I eat at the restaurant. The desserts usually include classic Indian sweets as well as mango ice cream. My only negative feedback of this restaurant is that I find that it can be a bit pricey for me personally. If it was a bit less expensive I think I’d find myself going to this restaurant more frequently. But if I do want a good unlimited Indian food buffet I really do enjoy this one. I really do enjoy that this Indian buffet serves mea variety of meats because many Indian buffets do not serve meat. My fiancé seems to leave disappointed without his serving of protein when we leave other Indian buffets. I think that is the most important thing to acknowledge is that if you are vegetarian then I think your standards of an Indian buffet may differ then someone who likes to see more meat/protein in their meal.

This place specializes in Karnataka(Bangalore being its main city) cuisine. I went to lunch buffet and their lighter dishes like idly, dosa, pakora, etc were very fresh and good. Their main course was below average. All vegetarian curries lacked salt and all non-vegetarian dishes were very disappointing and were not up to the mark. Their bisebella bath was very good. I believe the price of $ 14 pp for a buffet at this place is more considering the average taste of their main dishes.

Lovely south indian food with just the right spice levels and the variety is mind blowing. Was surprised to see the Ragi dosa, mini Uthapam, idli and kaal Uthapam !! Typically indian restaurants avoid the dinner buffet and these guys have just reversed this with a scurrilous menu and amazing quality food. They also have authentic beverages like Majjige(butter milt with spices and herbs) which was very tasty ! All in all the place is a must go and must eat location. Staff is very friendly too. Sharath the manager took the time to speak to me in Kannada and also offered me the Majjige !! A lot of non-vegetarian options too Go for it foodies !!

No complaints at all about this place. Went for the dinner buffet, priced $ 13.95, which is very fair. The selection is very diverse and appetizing with food consistently being fresh since newly cooked food was consistently being brought out. Rice dishes, dosa, idli, utapam and vegetarian dishes were all tasty. The meat dishes is what pleasantly surprised me for a South Indian restaurant(many South Indians are often vegetarian). The chicken and lamb were all very soft and flavorful. Not spicy at all but still tasty. The service is efficient and attentive, clearing plates off the table quickly My only suggestion would be that the ice cream was very melted, perhaps management should consider keeping it in an ice cooler or something of the sort. Will definitely be returning. Also, how does one become a food critic? Pretty sure it’s my dream job. Lot of eating experience.

I was in the area the other day and I realized that I have not been into an Indian restaurant in a while! Out of all the Indian restaurants this one had good reviews, so I had to go! They had a dinner buffet at $ 15.95 per person which wasn’t bad considering their wide selection of food. I did notice that they lacked on the protein department, as in meaty dishes. The majority of the dishes were vegetarian and about ¾ of the buffet selections carried meat. I don’t know whether this was due to a specific cuisine that this restaurant was specializing in regionally from India. The food itself was delicious and full of everything that makes Indian cuisine amazing and what’s it’s admired for. The strong mix of spices and different aromas mixed with spicy chiles and their spicy kicks. So the food gets a 5 out of 5 stars because it was fresh and delicious! One down side was the water that was served at our table. It had this weird chemical taste to it. I don’t know if that’s due to the cup and it’s soap residual residue or the actual water itself in the building, but it tasted funky, that’s for sure. Quick Rundown Pros: — fresh food — good service — wide selection of Indian food — clean Cons — the water tasted funny — not that many dishes with meat Would I come here again? I most certainly will, especially since it’s an all you can eat Indian buffet!
