This busy burger place was filled with families. Nice modern décor but they need to keep the place cleaner with the high turnover in seats. The tater tots and sweet potato fries were great. We’d go back for these. The milkshake was good. The chicken sandwich has a nice panko crust. Got to tell you though– the burger patty was too small. I looked up at my husband and said«Where’s the beef?!» We got a good chuckle but if the place has the word«burger» in its name the burgers should really rock. They have a condiment bar with a lot of options. We’ll go back but not for the burgers. Tip: It’s next to a Starbucks on a corner so Ker an eye out for that when trying to find the restaurant. A lot of parking but buys on weekends with all of the stores.

Great burgers and so many sauce choices! The deep fried pickles are incredible — very thinly sliced and crispy! Not a fan of the crispy chicken burger because it is a little too bland.

Im constantly going to Assembly Row because I work at a restaurant close by so I like to go to different places for food around the area. I tried Burger Dive for the first time tonight and here was my experience. I walked through the door and approached the register to the cashier, who seemed very nice but VERY new, and let her know I was on a diet. I ordered a cesar salad with no chicken and asked for light dressing on the side. My salad came at a good amount of time, about a 6 minute wait. But that’s no surprise considering actually TO my surprise, my 8 $ salad was no bigger than what could fit in a kids chicken nugget box at McDonalds. Not only that, it was COVERED in cheese. Yes I understand, Cesar salads come with cheese. But the amount of cheese on it, I actually blew the cheese off just so I could actually get a piece of lettuce. Not to mention my dressing wasn’t in the side, it was DRENCHING my salad. Needless to say, I work at a restaurant so I didn’t complain I just simply didn’t eat my meal and left and wished the workers a good night. My only advice to your establishment is that you make the portions larger for a simple salad, and understand that people getting salads are trying to be healthy so don’t douse the lettuce in dressing and cheese. Won’t ever be returning to Burger Dive, already posted a status on facebook about how disappointed I was and got multiple responses agreeing. Im sure your business is running great financially wise, but customer satisfaction is most important so I suggest you take this review into strong consideration if someone from that place may read this. Keep it up and the Burger’s gonna dive right down the drain. Sincerely, an unsatisfied customer that spent 30 $ on a sad night.

The burger industry is tough, with so much competition out there it’s hard to walk into a new burger joint and expect an amazing burger. This place has a great location, right next to the new assembly square outlets. However, the burger I had was okay. It was a decent size, but the patty was a bit dry/overcooked to my liking. I’ve been to plenty of burger joints and Burger dive does not currently stand out in my onion, but it does have potential to be better. They just need something that gives it more of a «WOW» factor. It’s a good place to eat if you’re tired and hungry walking around Assembly, but it has not entered my list of highly recommended burger joints, yet.

Was really hungry and been wanting to try the burgers here. They may have lots of fancy options on the menu but my test is how well they can prepare a plain cheese burger. Unfortunately probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. Overcooked and blah. The only upside was it didn’t make me ill so I guess that’s worth 1 star. The atmosphere is unattractive… I guess that’s why they call it burger dive.

Ordered my burger on the monitor– I guess it’s outdated or incorrect. They know that. Oder completely wrong. Ordered chicken cheese burger with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, onion and sauce. i get a chicken burger dry with lettuce and tomato. Told the guy, he tells me monitor is wrong, checks my order and tells me he owes me cheese that’s it. WOW. I guess place would have closed if he gave me remaining condiments. The other guy says sorry and I can get sauce around the corner. WOW. We’ll first impressions are everything. At least it was hot. Never again.

I love it here! Never had a bad experience. I love the crispy chicken sandwich. The fries are yummy and they also have these really good ranch potato chips. The tater tots are good too. They have all sorts of really good dipping sauces, i think around 12. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

While their menu looks like it is unique and a breath of fresh air, our whole family found the food to be pretty typical. While the do offer spiked milkshakes, we did not get any. It was fairly expensive for burgers and fries(and onion rings) to absolutely love the food. Onion rings were the tastiest thing we got, but were way aver breaded. They do have self-order kiosks if you don’t want to wait in line to order with someone else. They’re pay-by-card only. We went around 1pm on a Wednesday and it was crazy crowded even with kids. Hard to find a place to sit and the layout wasn’t very intuitive either, making it hard to maneuver with a high chair. Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but didn’t need to change a diaper so can’t remember if they had a changing table or not, but don’t remember one.

Me and my boyfriend went here expecting a nice meal before a movie. We waited in line for a few minutes but it wasn’t terrible. When time to make our order, we ordered simple burgers. We sat down to wait and it was very crowded and a little confusing but we finally got our burgers. My boyfriend and I don’t usually turn things back, ever, but his hamburger had a cooked egg on top. He specifically asked for a burger without egg. They accepted the burger back and cooked another. The second burger they produced also had a cooked egg, it was the exact same burger. We said it was not correct, and at that point the movie was going to start soon, so we simply asked for a refund. The manager came out and began cursing at my boyfriend and when he asked her to please calm down, she preceded to get extremely angry and yell. When we asked again for a refund, she said she would give me my boyfriends refund and not my boyfriend who had paid for the meal, as she wanted him to leave the restaurant. She ended up calling the police which was pretty silly. The police asked us to leave the establishment, but I insisted on the refund. They said they would give it to us the next day. My boyfriend ended up have to return to get a refund the next day, how ridiculous is that? The refund had the same incorrect burger on the receipt! The receipt also did not refund our drinks and sides that we did not get to consume. While my burger was mediocre, it was overcooked. This is definitely a place to avoid if you want a peaceful meal. The staff, or at least whoever was in charge are absolutely rude and nearly ruined our night.

Good food but service is rude and slow. This hasn’t happened every time that I’ve been here but it has happened more than once. You also might catch an employee pretending to work in the corner but is really talking to her boyfriend :) Pros: Burgers, fries(potato and sweet potato), hotdogs, lots of sauces, and opens fairly late. Cons: service, dimly lit, price is a little high

Much healthier than Five Guys, with more interesting choices. Everything is ordered individually which brings the price way up, but the milkshakes can’t be beat and I love the selection of sauces. Quick meal on your way to the movies or while shopping. The interior is packed with tables and gets very squished, but when the weather is nice, the outdoor seating makes this less of a problem.

Not bad. But not great either. Solidly average. Cool décor and they have a liquor license so they sell drinks and alcoholic shakes. My favorite part was the chili cheese tots. The burgers had too much bread and not enough meat and cheese though. Nice place and decent food. Like I wrote earlier — average. I came here because I was craving a burger and was in the area. Not sure if there’s a better option nearby. I wish I was on Newbury or in Cambridge to go to shake shack. But what can you do?

Great location and good food. They make the burgers automatically medium so if you like it more or less cooked. Make sure to mention it to them. I love these, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned too. The menu isn’t extensive, just the right amount of options. They do not add condiments to your order, but they have a section with many different choices of sauces to choose from. Many stores close by to shop and just walk around and spend some money! Would def return.

Came in after a move randomly as all the other nice restaurants were packed, turned out to be a really pleasant surprise! Very modern concept with self order stations. Good selection of different food, beers, and beer infused shakes. Food was up quick — Got BBQ and chipotle turkey burgers, the patties seemed house made and were moist and well seasoned. The onion«rings“were just the petals different and interesting, especially when you have 8 different sauces to choose from. Beer selection was pretty good and served in a frosty ye olde timey shake glass. Yes there were a ton of crazy kids in there, but it makes sense they would be, I would want to be dropped off by mom there for din and a movie at 14. $ 30 for the whole meal + beer beats the hell out of any of the other places around there. Only criticism, Definitely need some jams in the background. I’ll be back

People are unbelievably rude and this place is loud and rambunctious. No courtesy from staff or clientele! I paid 11 dollars for a chicken sandwich and a SMALL drink and get no pickle or fries or anything with it. What a joke! I will not be returning.

I frequent Assembly Square a lot and I’m surprised I haven’t tried this place out, especially since it’s right next door to Starbucks LOL. Brunch burger is what I ordered and was recommended by 2 people. I was pretty impressed how good it was! They even asked me how I liked my burger cooked, medium, perfect. With a fried egg, chips, bacon, and cheese on top of the sandwich was noice. I didn’t like the chips doe, even though it added a crunch I would’ve preferred it on the side. Even the tater tots were good too! This just made everything better. It was crispy, crunchy, and yummy at the same time. I know Sonic typically has tater tots but these are just on a whole other level. Much yum.

A solid burger, but nothing special honestly. I saw them on phantom gourmet, and thought it was a sweet idea to stamp a logo on the burger buns, but mine did not have this. $ 18.70 bought a small but filling burger and a small set of french fries, and a tasty milkshake(Well with that extra $ 6 there). It’s good to note that they cannot break up combos and upsell the soda to a milkshake So I essentially had to buy both, despite not being a soda drinker($ 2 – 4 upcharge would be nice) Awfully high priced for the amount of food but the quality saves it from a 2 star. Not really worth returning since Fuddruckers is 20 minutes closer to me and far more food for the $$$.

This is now my favorite burger in town, and it is augmented by my favorite tater tots in town and my favorite onion rings in town. Well, onion petals, but whatever. And the shakes are killer too. And there’s abundant parking. I plan on coming here far more than is healthy.

Burger Dive is awesome — so glad we found this place! The turkey burgers are excellent — cooked perfectly, not dry at all. The tots are the best around and the onion petals are insanely good. I come here for the dipping sauces though — I’m totally a sauce girl. Each one has great flavor and its own distinct style. My favorites are the Louisiana Dipping sauce and the Burger Diver sauce. Super tasty!!!

I eat A LOT of burgers and I’ve wanted to hit up BD for a long time to add it to my list of «conquered» burger joints. It wasn’t bad, just boring. My medium burger was well-done. It was only luke warm. It tasted dry and largely flavorless. I tried some of the dipping sauces, but they all tasted similarly bland and if you’re relying on a sauce bar to flavor your food, there’s a big problem. Ultimately, the tator tots were the best part of the meal and I won’t be back. There are way too many awesome burgers in Boston to waste my calories and stomach space on Burger Dive.
