Stopped by for breakfast. Nice variety of healthy and tasty meals. Had the French toast bacon and eggs all done to perfection. Nice location and very clean on the inside. Would definitely recommend eating here for breakfast.

Decent food for delivery, breakfast is my favorite as the lunch options just dont do it for me. Get the breakfast crisp and tots and you wont be dissapointed. Unfortunately for lunch, the wraps and/or paninis are just kind of a miss. They are always very bland meats and seemingly the paninis or wraps are overpowered by the bread. I will still continue to order breakfast here on lazy sundays though!

I don’t hate breakfast food but this place takes«bland breakfast food» to a whole nother level. I honestly could have made better eggs at home. I would not recommend this place if you’re into flavorful foods. This place didn’t have a good variety of meals either, mostly just eggs with different toppings. The food took a while to get to the table too, even though the place was not crowded. Street parking made it even less appealing for me. Will not be returning.

I really hate to write a super negative review like this but the dinner experience was so bad I felt I had to share it. I found this place because I was craving a good French onion soup and it popped up in my search. Unilocal had some pretty good reviews and the menu looked good so my family and I checked it out. Upon placing my order I asked the guy if he could make our soups well done so the cheese was melted and crispy. He said yes. When we got them, it was in a little tiny paper cup with raw onions, water like broth and a piece of bread with a slice of provolone cheese barely microwaved melted on top. We had one bite and sent both soups back. The very annoyed guy working there said«well that’s how we make it». We got a chicken noodle instead that was like a Lipton cup a soup but without any flavor whatsoever. We also got the chili which was so blended it was like a meat smoothie. I swear it looked just like cat food and tasted horrible. Next the sandwiches… I ordered the cajon chicken, it had the smallest piece of microwaved rubber like chicken you have ever seen on it. Very gross! My wife got a chicken panini, they gave her a wrap instead so she brought it back. The guy was now really annoyed at us even though it was their mistake. When she finally got the Panini it had this very strange grayish paste like substance on it. She had one bite and threw the rest out. Next the potato wedges with gravy… no doubt in my mind that it was canned gravy and it was also really nasty. My son had chicken fingers, no complaints there but then again he is 5, he will eat anything. Terrible food is one thing but I think what annoyed us most is the guy working there was not friendly at all and extremely annoyed that we were not happy with his hospital cafeteria type food. BYW… there were two guys behind the counter, the one with the blonde hair was nice, I could tell he knew they had issues! We talked to another family as we were leaving and they also said their food was bland and all around not good. I am pretty open minded about different people’s opinion on food but I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews! Needless to say we throw out 75% of our meal. What a waste of food, money and a meal out with my family.

Haven’t had a bad experience thus far! The food is pretty good! The best part is their mobile ordering service which tracks your order like how dominos pizza does from start to finish even let you know when your order is on the way! I’m not a big eating out fan! But enjoy the convenience of delivery at my door step!

Really enjoyed the laid-back«fast casual» dining environment here. They have a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. We got an omelette and panini. Both were good and not overpriced. Great tater tots.

I loved this place in New Brunswick and I still love it in Somerville. I came here today after house hunting to try their breakfast. I went with the breakfast burrito and added a side of seasoned hash browns. My fiancé chose the make-your-own omelet with egg whites, turkey sausage, spinach, mushrooms and pepperjack cheese. The egg white omelet was as good as expected. It was fluffy, stuffed nicely, and seasoned well(salt and pepper). The burrito was very good too but not as stuffed as it should be. The hash browns on the other hand was the he reason they lost a star. They came out white not browned like the name suggests. They were seasoned well but definitely undercooked. My suggestion is skip the hash browns and go with tater tots instead. If your looking for a affordable breakfast with higher quality you can’t go wrong here. There ingredients are always fresh and the price doesn’t break the bank.

Hit or miss… Don’t rely on them to make food the right way. Today I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Right off the bat the chicken was PINK. I called to let them know for future reference. Not only was it pink but the salad was in huge leaf sizes prepared for a farm animal to eat. Poor. How does someone mess up a salad?

Been there only once, solid food. Clean & well kept place. Ordered: lumberjack(4.5 stars), home fry egg n’cheese(2.5 stars). Posted pics. Will visit again soon!

Great little place, they have another location in New Brunswick that originally was on Mine St but I think now has moved down the block. They have some seating if you want to dine in, but I think it’s better for take out. Good quality snacks for cheap. Great for lunch, wraps, and«crisps.» Best thing on the menu: Buffalo Chx Crisp. Great secondary options: Breakfast Crisp and the Chx salad BLT wrap. I also love the strawberry oreo smoothie, but all the smoothies are good.

My boyfriend and I saw the raving reviews and decided to check out this tiny restaurant. I ordered the omelet with bacon and swiss cheese and my boyfriend ordered the French toast and homefry egg and cheese. The omelet I had was average and wasn’t something I’d go back for. It tasted a little overcooked, but the filling was substantial. My boyfriend’s French toast was definitely undercooked though because the eggs were still gooey and raw when he cut into the French toast. When we explained that we couldn’t eat the French toast because the egg was still raw, the cashier just took the French toast back without giving us another one or returning the money. He was also underwhelmed by the homefry egg and cheese which he explained were just«plain potatoes and eggs» as he didn’t taste any Cajun seasoning in it. We were a bit disappointed in our experience and don’t plan to give this place a second try. I gave two stars for the location and the creativity of the name though.

Food is okay. Kind of dry at times. The service is good. I come here every now and then when I feel like eating a little bit more healthy and want a change from the usual.

Nice set up, cool décor, large selection of food. I ordered the tuna crisp and could barely finish it. Tater tots were simple and awesome. The banana flip shake it to die for. Honey bbq wings have a nice little crunch to it. Sucks that i live so far

As a 20 something yr old who hates to cook… this place is great for convenience and a good meal. They are usually really fast to deliver and on an occasion where they were not I received a decent amount of updates to let me know they didn’t forget about me and that my food would soon be arriving. It’s also neat that you can add up points from ordering there and redeem them for things like smoothies. You can also customize pretty much any salad or sandwich you want. Also nice is that you do not have to speak to a human throughout the ordering process(although they are nice to speak to when I have done so) — you can do everything online and the online ordering system is easy to use. I would recommend them for a quick lunch or dinner.

Love this place for lunch during the work week. They have many vegetarian options and everything always comes out exactly how I order it. Would love to see a breakdown of nutrition info on the website. The ‘healthy choice’ green circles are cute and all, but they don’t really tell you anything.

I have heard many great things about this place but actually going there was a bit let down. I guess for Somerville this is a great place to quickly grab lunch. Especially since it is located right in the dt. area. Other than that the ingredients and menu choices are basic although extensive. I felt as if the same thing was being offered to me in 30 different ways. I felt as if I could make anything I bought there on my own and even better. My mother and I split a balsamic chicken wrap and a greek salad. It was good but nothing special. The staff was also a bunch of young dudes who were fast in making our meals but were not the most friendly. I would go back for convienice and if I was craving a salad but it is not a MUSTGO.

Food is normally decent. Food in Somerville sucks unless you pay up. I like hansel and griddle in New Brunswick. It’s no where close to other places. Don’t know why so many people come here.

This place, in my opinion, is one of the most refreshing new breakfast/luncheons to come into Somerville. A great menu, with almost anything you could imagine from pancakes to tater tots. Food is fresh, service is great, wifi is fast and youll leave feeling very well satiated. Try one of their fresh smoothies! Hansel ‘n Griddle — So Hot Right Now!

Yeah, this is a cool place to grab lunch or midday snack. One of my favorite places to grab lunch at in New Brunswick Hansel ‘n Griddle of Somerville offers the same convenience without the wait often found in college town. Aside from sandwiches, salads, wraps and paninis they offer a couple health conscious desserts like smoothies and vegetarian options, plus sides like wedges & tots! Highly recommend for breakfast & lunch!

Not bad. I came here for lunch a couple times with my coworker, who swears by this place and used to come here all the time when his friends were going to Rutgers. To me, it’s just a regular sandwich spot, that has a very good selection of wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas, and some salads. On my most recent visit I was going to order a buffalo chicken sandwich, but I had ranch dressing instead of blue cheese on it, which is the most evil thing anyone can do. Most people don’t know this, but every time someone puts ranch dressing on buffalo chicken a puppy dies. Instead I had the popcorn buffalo chicken crips(They call the quesadillas, crisps for some reason), that came with a side of blue cheese dressing(not ranch) for dipping. With the word«griddle» on the name, I might have to swing by one day for breakfast. All in all, it’s a pretty good spot to grab a decent sandwich.
