7 – 11’s sells mostly crappy stuff(this includes slurpees). convenience breeds popularity. u can buy the same crappy stuff here as at safeway, lucky’s without fighting for parking space and waiting in line. 7 – 11’s are usually empty(no waiting) and they have a(empty) parking lot. buys: coffee(sm 1.35) –whatever is in the thermos, still better than farmers/superior at donut shops. –service? forgetaboutit. sometimes u get a smile and a thank u.

The Sonoma 7 – 11 is in a picturesque place. It’s a short walk from the plaza, the mission, the barracks. They don’t have much selection, but it’s cheap and above all, CLEAN. The Slurpee machine had a great variety of flavors. I got a piña colada and got a Tabasco refill. When the sandwiches say«made in a local kitchen», don’t think it was made at the Sunflower Caffe nearby, or Lydia Kindheart’s kitchen in Petaluma/Fairfax. It’s a convenience store, hence the name.

Why are all 7-Eleven’s so boring and stuff. They should take a hint from McDonalds and make at least a few of them amazing. This place is barely«ok» and the staff doesn’t know much about the Slurpee machines(Which was the reason for our stop) and the taquito things are always left on that rolling table TOO long, otherwise they wouldn’t be hard but just right. Don’t they have a limit to how long they can leave that sitting there? Never will I buy one again.

Exactly like every other 7-Eleven. Tastefully situated a couple blocks west of Sonoma’s main square, it close enough for when you need it, far enough when you don’t want reality to intrude. This one has no special design features or merchandise. Unless you count the sticker on the bland but amazingly helpful after a day of wine tasting shrink-wrapped chicken salad on white bread sandwich that it is made in a «local kitchen.»
