4.5 stars. Enjoyed this place. Chill, casual café with outdoor seating for us and the pup. Friendly service and food was pretty tasty. Had a chicken banh mi. Pretty tasty. Good size and proportions. Would be nice if it came with a little side of something. Had some of the brie, mushroom, bacon crêpe… pretty tasty. Parking was easy and the bathroom was far away in the back but surprisingly very clean. I didn’t pay so I’m not sure what the prices were. Would definitely come here again.

Amazing service and a real laid back and family oriented ambiance. Sitting waiting for my phở soup to go while another diner just starts enjoying his, and I am already writing a positive review because I am salivating just smelling this guy’s soup. I cannot wait for it! Mothers Day is by far the busiest restaurant day of the year and with a small staff they were handling the crowds with poise, efficiency and great communication! Will return soon for more!

Loved the crepes. They are not overly sweet and the savory ones were very good too. It’s a casual, open atmosphere with a farm to market feel. The owners were very friendly.

Interesting place. My cousin and I stopped by for a snack and we decided on banh mi sandwiches paired with Thai tea and a viet iced coffee. I’m a huge critique when it comes to viet food or anything — given I’m Vietnamese lol All in all we paid about $ 25. $ 8 is a little pricey for a viet sandwich but we hoped for the best. I would definitely come back bc the sandwich was full of amazing flavors. We went for the Hanoi chicken option too. The vibe was«chill» and relaxing.

So thrilled they(expertly) tackled a huge need in Sonoma: great Vietnamese. I only wish the menu was bigger and they were open more often. You can’t go wrong with the banh mi or phở!

Delicious banh mi(Vietnamese sandwich). All 3 kinds of sandwiches(pork meat balls, Hanoi chicken, and pulled pork) were yummy, but my favorite was the pork meat ball! Man… the aoli sauce that came with the sandwiches added a new dimension of flavor. We also had their Vietnamese coffee. It’s not as strong and sweet as traditional Vietnamese coffee, but I actually like it better that way. The owners of this place were super friendly. Keep in mind, food might take awhile to come out, but totally worth the wait. Will definitely come here again!!!

Love this amazing place, the food and service are great and it has an outside seating area that’s covered so you can enjoy your favorite food or drink your coffee while you watch and listen to the rain. Great spot to go on a date you hit up after work. Definitely will be returning

Yum! What a nice and unique place to eat in Sonoma! We shared a yummy crêpe with mashed potatoes, bacon, cheese, caramelized leeks and sour cream(Monster Mash — $ 10). It was a delicious creation. We also enjoyed the Hanoi Taco($ 3) and a pork meatball bahn mi($ 7). The service was wonderful. They made a very minor error that didn’t bother me at all, and made up for it with a free sweet crêpe. Only downside was that we visited in January and this is an indoor/outdoor space. Would have loved some heaters! This is a great, comfortable, homey place to enjoy an inexpensive, delicious meal in Sonoma! Stop by the brewery next door for some beer flights($ 2 per taste!).

I love this place — can’t stay away. The food is excellent — phở broth is magnificent, banh mi meatballs are perfect, crepes are REALLY good. Atmosphere is funky(dining area is a tent in a parking lot, which leaks in the rain). As this place grows in popularity, there can be long waits both to order and get food. Be patient — it’s worth the wait.

Very good crepes! And my gf got the phở which was surprisingly good! The open patio atmosphere was really nice and complimented with the warm food. Was a great start to our road trip. Probably will stop here on our way back. PS my GF is Vietnamese and it takes a lot to impress her when it comes to phở. ;)

I would love to start out by saying the people that work here are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in the industry. Accommodating, friendly, and overall delicious this place is worth waiting until Thursday to come and enjoy. Not only are their crepes delicate and delicious with a multitude of choices and great pre-thought up creations but they can accommodate a Celiac. I highly recommend this place although I’ve only had one of their many offerings! Looking forward to trying more. Come here and enjoy the adorable set up, great people, and amazing food. When the locals flock here, you know you’re in the right spot!

Seriously the best crepes I’ve ever had, and just one fills you up! I had the vegetarian crêpe with really good dark roast coffee and although it was a little cold they have armchairs with blankets to keep you warm. Also had our small dog with us and was really nice to find a place we could take her with us.

Truly fantastic on all fronts: Ambiance.(As in eating On good streets inThailand.)Friendly. Great people. Great music. Laid back. No pretensions. Solid coffee. Welcoming to children, friends, mixed ages, families and all friends… This spot may be my new favorite. Focusing on fresh food, flavorful combinations, and French /Southeast Asian flavors.

This is the best crêpe I have ever had and probably ever will have. I enjoyed The Goat For It. It could have used some more goat cheese but it was a great size and still very yummy with avocado, chicken, and a sour cream drizzle. It would have come with caramelized onions but I exchanged it for spinach which was so yummy! My friend got a Let it Brie which was probably one of the best things I have ever tasted! I The presentation was amazing, the service was sincere and down home. I felt like I walked into someones home and they wanted to make me some crepes. It was refreshing. Also so was the air. There is no true indoors part of this restaurant. All and all, this is a place you need to try out!

All I can say is WOW. This place is awesome. The service is great, and the food is fantastic. My wife and I came with our friends Lauren and Kevin T. Between the four of us we got two Monster Mashes, a Let it Brie, and a Goat For It and they were all awesome.(These are all savory crepes. If I had known how huge they were, maybe we would have split them and finished off with a sweet one.) The Monster Mash is a hearty crêpe with potatoes, cheese, bacon, leeks, and even a fried egg on top! It was so tasty — reminded me of a breakfast burrito. The Goat For It had goat cheese, chicken, and avocado. It was awesome — although, I wish it had even more goat cheese! That stuff rules! The Let It Brie was probably my favorite. A layer of melted brie, with mushrooms, bacon, and tomatoes. Brie is my favorite cheese and this did not disappoint! I also have to point out that these crepes are beautiful! The presentation is top-notch and it only adds to the whole experience. Definitely check this place out, although I hear it’s packed for Sunday brunch. We came on Saturday and there weren’t too many people.

We drove by The Divewalk Café on a rainy night during our weekend in Sonoma. Outside the building was a signage that said«authentic bánh mì», I didn’t believe what I was seeing at first, then we drove back to the café the next morning to double check. Nope, that wasn’t my imagination! Although their website exclusively states«The Divewalk Café is Sonoma’s only place for Crepes! A funky little place featuring fresh tasty organic food prepared with love and laughter», Mark offers bánh mì along with a variety of crepes. Born and raised in Vietnam, my heart was beating very fast when I saw their chalk board menu offering my people’s food in a town where Southeast Asian food is scarce. Location(5⁄5): Follow the Unilocal instruction and you will get there! There is plenty of parking spaces. Immediately, you will be able to spot the café since it’s so colorful! The restaurant literally locates outside of their garage and backyard. Beautiful plants have been used to divide the space to make all guests feel very homey. It gives you the vibe«Welcome to my home! Take a seat, enjoy the beautiful weather, and we’ll bring you food». Services(4⁄5): «We are ‘slow’ food» slogan is the first thing that caught my eyes. The board was so vivid laying on the cashier counter explaining how each dish is made fresh for the customer. Since they only have 2 people acting as chefs(semi-open kitchen), this disclaimer is pretty much clear to those who are in hurry. I have to admit though, their food delivery was on the slow side! Perhaps, they had multiple pickup orders to prepare before ours. What surprised me more was the fact that there were guests coming to the café in pajamas! I understand that Sonoma is a small town, but I have never seen teenagers and family walking into a restaurant in their sleeping clothes before! Already, this minor detail told me a lot about owner’s relationship to their customers! Besides, sign like«Chef Zone enter only if you want to wash dishes» shines the owner’s funky personality! Food(4⁄5): Once upon a time, Mark had a Vietnamese best friend in high school whom introduced him to the world of Vietnamese cuisine. Ever since, he has a huge Vietnamese influence in his cooking. That’s the story I heard from the girl at the cashier. We ordered a pork meatball bánh mì($ 7), Hanoi taco with chicken($ 8) and another one with chili roasted pull pork($ 8). You also have the option to add an egg for $ 1.50. We wanted the Vietnamese iced coffee but they didn’t have it. Instead, we went for the tricolor Thai iced tea. The smell of the food was so aromatic! It was hard to distinguish between the slow cooked chicken vs pull pork taco! Both shared a similar taste bud — a little spicy from the sriracha aioli, acidic from the pickled vegetables, freshness from the radish with a touch of avocado that represents the Mexican factor in the dish. Overall, I would call this the Viet-Mex tacos instead of Hanoian, since you will never find these flavors in Hanoi! However, the bánh mì has so much compact flavors! One bite at a time, my tongue was exploding with layers of intense flavors from the spicy aioli, hoisin sauce, picked vegs and jalapeño slides. I have to give Mark two thumbs up for making the meatballs very similar to Banh Mi Xiu Mai(Vietnamese Meatball Bánh Mì). Though Mark’s interpretation is very modern, I love his effort and appreciation to Vietnamese food. Please stay in business forever! If the owner is interested in travelling, a food truck selling what they are selling will definitely make them good $$$! Good luck and keep making delicious Vietnamese influenced Bánh Mì!

Great for what it is. A super casual place with mixed tables, chairs, plates, tablecloths. It actually reminds me of all the mismatched socks I have after doing the kids laundry. Anyhow, I love the décor that way. The crepes are masterfully made. Best place I’ve been to in NorCal for crepes(and I’m French, we eat tons of crepes) Great flavorful combinations. Staff are fun. Great coffee too. Will definitely be back for breakfast!

Great banh-mi sandwiches! I was very skeptical since they’re very hard to get right, and I’ve rarely had a decent one outside of Saigon Sandwich in SF. However, they got everything right and it’s not super expensive. Not the fastest service but worth the wait(or call in your order). Also, they aren’t open every weekday so make sure you check their hours!

Ordered a Hanoi taco and Banh Mi Sandwich. Hanoi taco was decent, not too much flavor too it. Although the sandwich was very tasty and perfect price for the amount of food you get. Cannot wait to come back and try the crepes though. The café has a great vibe to it!

Oh boy, Sunday 8⁄2 was a rough day for Divewalk. Orders took about an hour+ to come out. They were giving folks fruit due to the long wait. I watched a few refunds due to people getting over the wait. I’m actually still sitting waiting for my crêpe, it’s been 65 minutes so far. It’ll probably be good once it gets here, that’s TBD. Edit: Ended up not eating here. They very kindly came up to us and let us know that they needed to make more batter, and it would be a bit longer. We decided to leave. They refunded our order, and very politely also offered some soup to go. Which I declined. They also said my order would be 50% next time I came. I’m bumping up to 3 stars, since they handled it pretty well and the food I’ve had before was pretty darn tasty. I’ll be back.

I’m so glad this place is staying open. I know Lorene had to let go of Planet Organics, but when I saw the sign I though it was the café too! No! I’m happy to report that Divewalk is now better than ever. And, there are new items on the menu. Vietnamese sandwiches are now going to be a regular item. Just ate one and rejoice Sonoma! Because they are outstandingly delicious! Crepes are as yummy as ever. The place has expanded seating, now that owners Lorene and Mark are devoting all their time to the café. I want to go back and try the Vietnamese coffee. They were sold out today. If you want to experience a truly unique and original café with the most delicious food go to Divewalk Café. It’s on the west side of town across the Vella bridge and you are there. Plenty of parking too.

LOVED this place!!! I’m not a huge crêpe person or so I thought until we dropped by here for a quick little lunch. Place is outdoors but felt very cool since there was a tent; seems like a great place to have coffee and read a book. Kitchen is pretty open and almost feels like you are in someone’s outdoor dining room. We had the Let it Brie, Veggie Feta, and Bahn Mi sandwich. Bahn Mi was a bit too sweet for me but still good. Loved loved the Let it Brie which included Marin-French brie, jack cheese, sautéed mushrooms, baby spinach, crumbled bacon, topped with sliced tomatoes. The Brie was light enough and didn’t overpower any of the other ingredients. Also quite filling!

Wow. Lucky us. GLUTENFREE! We were driving through Sonoma and happened to see the sign for crepes as we drove by, I was assuming I’d have to go without because no one makes gluten free crepes, but no! They had a full menu of crepes available gluten free. I got a savory crêpe, with bacon and potatoes and it was perfect. You know when you have something so well made each ingredient is a perfect balance to the overall flavor? I was beyond impressed. THEN as a surprise bonus, I got a decaf french press, never expecting it to be phenomenal, but it was just about the best coffee I’ve ever had. The people were very nice, the atmosphere is very cute, cozy, inviting, comfortable and clean. Never before have I been eating out thing the whole time, I must write a Unilocal review!

Divewalk Café just opened in July. They share the same space as Grandma Linda’s Ice Cream. Divewalk Café is only opened Wed– Sun from 8am –1pm. They’re the only café in Sonoma that serves crêpe, and they’re deliciously good crepes too. They’re so good that we came here twice during our 3 day visit to Sonoma and Napa. I like that Divewalk Café uses organic ingredients that are locally grown. Way to support the local community. We ordered This is my Jam, Monster Mash, and Ham it Up. This is my Jam is a simple crêpe with powdered sugar sprinkled on top and comes with berry jam. I like that it’s light and semi-sweet. The serving size for Monster Mash is a lot larger than This is my Jam. With all the ingredients, I thought it would be on the heavier side, but it was light and very tasty. They did a good job with the proportions of each ingredient, creating a dish that does not predominantly taste of one ingredient. Ham it Up was an interesting crêpe in that it was topped with a fried egg. I was curious, so I ordered it and am glad I did. The egg was a great addition to an already tasty crêpe. On our first visit, we ordered Monster Mash and This is my Jam to share between the two of us. On our second visit, we ordered Ham it Up and This is my Jam to share. They were just enough for us. We felt full, but not too full. And both times, we completely cleaned the plates because it’s that good. So, if you’re visiting Sonoma or are a local, I suggest you give Divewalk Café a try.
