Rocket Back Door

The Space Chick is the most amazing sandwich ever. Actually, all of the sandwiches rock! Also, check out the Piroshki’s: Beef and Cheese and the Curry Turkey. Wow!

Awesome spot! Ran by awesome people! Have had the space chick and didn’t think I’d find a more delicious sandwich, but then I had the tuna with the chips on it and BAM! There it was. Can’t go wrong here.

Holy moly. Best sandwich ever! Was tempted by the sign advertising the «best» fried chicken sandwich but ended up going with the Asian Turkey. Amazing mix of flavors and giant portions. Half was good for me! Will def check them out again!

Went there for a piroshki and ordered a meat and cheese to go. Service was not very good and the piroshki was large but greasy and pretty taste less.

Finally.
After promising myself for over a year that I would actually get up from my office chair and go out to get lunch, I finally made it to Rocket Back Door. As a fan of Rocket Sushi since the day after they opened, I had high expectations — and they were exceeded.
I ordered the Asian Turkey sandwich: soy grilled turkey, pepper jack, spout, carrot, cabbage, avocado, scallion-​sesame aioli on a french roll.
Let’s just say 1) I’m glad I took it to go 2) I’m glad I ate it while alone. It was a delightfully messy, crunchy, tangy, get your hands and face full of your lunch kind of meal. So damn good.
I’m already plotting my next office escape to lunch at Back Door.

Not one thing here is bad. Could eat it everyday! Love this local business. Its given us locals some much needed diversity in our towns normally very uniform and boring food choices. Show support and eat here so we make sure they stick around. Its rough around here for small businesses.

Just went there but they were closed. After calling them I found out that they are closed on Monday. Unilocal has them listed as open but is incorrect.

I saw a recent post on Facebook about rocket deli so I decided to try it out and MAN it was the best thing ever! I tried their space chick and it was so good. I’m not a big fried food eater so I didn’t think i would like it but it was delicious! Good prices for the portions also. Will definitely go back.

Fat deli sandwhiches! Ordered a veggie sandwhiches and a cuban. Huge sandwhiches! Super fresh. Ive been coming here for the sushi weeknights and they just opened the backdoor deli recently. Heres the scoop… the old building was a well known deli location in Sonoma where PIEROGI /​PEROGY were made. They bought the location for their catering business and later started doing sushi (Rocket Sushi) Now they are bringing back the deli on weekdays! The Pierogi’s are not on the menu yet but keep an eye out! In the mean time try a different sandwich from the menu… I’m hungry just talking about it! Great for a drive by to pick up to take to a winery for picnics. I heard that poki sandwhiches were coming soon also!
