Service a little slow but food made it worth the wait. We all got lunch combos… awesome portion for the price. All came with a nice Mary’s house salad to start. Dad says the Spaghetti and meatballs was DEELISH, especially the sauce. My sister said it was the best BLT she has ever had… loved the focaccia bread and the bacon was cooked to perfection. I had the cooked turkey sandwich. Again, the bread was so yummy and the avocado slices were fresh and abundant! Unfortunately, mom wasn’t too impressed with her slice of pizza. Very dry. Really didn’t look to appetizing. She ate it but was ho hum. (We did eat in Little Italy yesterday so no comparison there!) Overall, thumbs up. Nice waitresses and cute atmosphere.

Napolitano pizza was fantastic. I highly recommend it. A small one fed my husband and I perfectly. My daughter loved the spaghetti and giant meatball. We only had an hour since we were on a tour but we got in and out with time to spare.

Spent a great weekend in beautiful Sonoma. After a long day my wife and I decided to get take out and picnic in our hotel room. Mary’s was a spur of the moment choice but ended up being quite a find. Called ahead and ordered with an on line menu. Told our order would be ready in 45 minutes (on a busy Saturday night) I arrived early and was greeted at the take out counter with a smile and a great helpful attitude. The young woman asked me some questions about my order, excused herself and went to the kitchen to ensure my order was correct. In no time she returned and I was out the door. We had a delicious meal in comfort and really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie sundae that was incredible. Great service. Great food for a family style pizza restaurant.

Well should have read the reviews as they were right. Service was slow, took 15 mins to get our drink order back. The food took 45mins and the portions were not what I was expecting for the price. Overall would never return here and would not recommend.

What an awful meal we had here this evening. The waitress got most everything wrong.
We are seated, waitress takes drink order. Screws up my husbands cocktail order, doesn’t even ask my son if he wants a drink before she walks away.
Dinner, my son gets his chicken dinner order… the rest of the three of us wait 15 minutes for our small pizzas… they finally come COLD soggy and wrong pizza for my hubby. Now we are miffed. She doesn’t bother to ask us for refills on our drinks. No apology from her. Guys order glasses of wine… you guessed it WRONG WINE to both guys. Are you kidding me?
I’m not wasting my time coming back here. No way… wrong orders, cold pizzas and no apologies from her. Yes, the manager apologized to us but COME ON! REALLY?

I love the cheese pizza. Went in Sunday at 0934 p.m. ask this guy if they were still open he said «I don’t know. «okay, you don’t know? «Well we close at 10 but people want to leave early so no.» Kitchen was still open, no one was cleaning and didn’t seem in a hurry. Went to round table and got my pizza

Lunch combo is good. Large side salad !
Outside seating has a fireplace stay warm while getting some fresh air. Don’t be afraid of sitting outside!
Good food portions. Always leftovers so share or be prepared to take home

Can’t believe how slow and disjointed the service was. We arrived at 3 p.m., hoping to grab a quick pizza and get back to wine tasting. Forty minutes later, and we still didn’t have our food — and missed our wine tasting window. I get it when kitchens get backed up, but there was no one there, and several waitresses just sat by the bar as we had empty water glasses and no silverware.

Great place for a casual, delicious, good priced meal. They serve lunch sizes/​prices until 5pm! Enjoyed the chicken fettuccini. They make it to order so unlike most places, I was able to ask for «no mushrooms». They also can substitute wheat penne.
Easy parking. Nice town to walk around after dinner.

Cute Italian restaurant in downtown Sanoma with good food and decent prices (not too expensive). The lunch combo is great: soup/​salad, bread, and good size entrée. Me and my friend both ordered pasta and loved our dishes — Pesto pasta and chicken fettuccine alfredo! The alfredo was light and not too creamy, but still had a lot of flavor. The pesto was fresh and I would definitely order it again. Great service too!

What a great place with warm cozy atmosphere. A fun place to relax and have a good hearty meal. Just visiting Sonoma to visit family and this was a perfect start to a picture perfect visit in Wine country. Had the special pizza which was so good. Perfect crust just like my N.Y. pizzas which by the way are really the best. Lovely salads. Good all around spot for just nibbling and hanging out. Nice happy hour menu as well. Next time in Sonoma this will be a go to place.

Seriously, this place serves some pretty good pizza for being outside of NYC, and I’m a born and raised New Yorker and a pizza snob. My fiancé and I came here for lunch while on a tour of the Napa and Sonoma vineyards. We split the tuscan garlic chicken pizza, which was quite filling and delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and are looking for a good lunch option while day drinking.

We just have been there yesterday — 4 of us, two of us locally from Sonoma county.
Centrally located at the square we have been sitting outside and could follow the festival outside.
We immediately got a table, drinks and food have been served quickly (although late already). Being German, pizza in California so far has rather been an adventure than good food.
However, the pizza has been great — not too rich, thin crust but fluffy in the middle — really delicious. Would rate it the top 3 of maybe 20 different pizza restaurants I tried in the past 2 years.
Price ok.
Can only recommend!

Mary’s, mmm. We used to come here all the time every summer — can’t get enough of Mary’s classic salad (lettuce, kidney beans, pickled beets, shredded cheese, carrots, tomato, so good).
My last visit here was fun but I found the customer service to be lacking. Our hostess had an attitude and wasn’t friendly when she led us to our table, she didn’t even smile. Our waitress was sweet, which is most important, but the rest of the staff seemed off. When we asked for a to-​go box, some girl walked by and literally dropped it onto the table in front of my grandmother’s face. Like a hurried and irritated drive-​by box drop. Rude.
The food was good though and pretty reasonably priced for being on the Sonoma plaza. Mary’s salad of course, and then I ordered a «bambino» gluten free pizza, which was actually really delicious.
Guys, the pepperoni here really is spicy. Just so you know. Yum.

These geniuses take my delivery order, then call me back 10 min later to tell me «sorry we have a big order going to a winery and we aren’t taking any more deliveries tonight». Then say they only can do a pick up even though they are open another hour.
I say hey I order from you 4 times a month and always tip the driver 10 bucks… I don’t mind waiting an hour +, tell the driver I will tip him out phat for coming out late.
They politely tell me to go fuck myself and hang up on me when they made the mistake. Normally they take delivery orders til 11pm… this was at 10:10 pm… apparently a winery is more important than a loyal customer. Who calls back to say hey sorry we cant make the delivery after the order was made and confirmed?
Last order ever.

Love everything about this place. My favorite dishes are the thick crust pizza & the eggplant parm. The caesar salad and shrimp bruschetta are great appetizers. They also have a decent happy hour/​late night happy hour with discounted apps, beer & cocktails.
The staff are all very nice and even when they’re slammed (which is pretty often especially during summer) they are friendly and attentive.

The Mary’s Pizza Shack in Sonoma is the WORST place in Sonoma to go after 9pm. They know they are the only place in Sonoma to get food, yet refuse to get additional servers, bartenders or cooks. When you aren’t even HALF full, and when your order goes like this… it’s ridiculous. Step it up.
