Got a deal for $ 5/person which included 7 – 8 tastings. We walked in 10 min till close which is at 5:30PM. They accommodated us but definitely rushed us. Didn’t mind since we were just killing time. The tastings were a sip or two but for $ 5 what do you expect???

Awful! The service was pitiful for an empty shop and the wine was sub par. Don’t waste your time.

The wines we tasted were nice but negatively overshadowed by the sour woman pouring… bad, unpleasant attitude… and we were rushed through the tastings… If people want to continue their wonderful Sonoma experience this is not the place to visit.

My friend and I had a great experience here! Mike was the staff member who helped us and he was amazing. He gave us a sheet of about 20 different wines to taste and we each picked six. It was difficult because I liked almost all of them. Then Mike gave us a couple of tastings that weren’t on the sheet and that made it even harder. He was friendly, attentive and informative. We bought a couple of bottles, but I wish we had gotten more. Will definitely be back here!

This place did NOT have good wines. And the tastings were ONE sip. After every other winery pouring like half a glass per tasting we were like«what is this???» and there’s no seating space. Plus Westwood Winery(which is OUTSTANDING) is right around the corner, they cost $ 20, this place $ 5. If you want $ 5 wine, why don’t you go grab a wine box at the grocery store? More importantly, what are you doing in wine country?

Not my favorite kind of tasting after just returning from some awesome wineries in Napa. The tasting was minimal and expensive with substandard wine.

What a fantastic way to try boutique wines that you can’t find anywhere else! Joanne is great and she provided a really good education on the different wines I selected. I walked away with 4 bottles!

Great spot right on the square, where you can taste six contrasting boutique wines for just $ 10. I found unique wines with great flavors and fun bottles to collect or to give as gifts. Just about anything you can imagine related to wine accessories can be purchased from napkins to high end glassware. This is a great spot to taste and shop while enjoying a day on the square! Oh– and they ship too!

super friendly.nice.cheap wine tasting. though i was with pedicab. they’re more of a combo type of place to try wine. they carry multi wineries. ended up with two wines here. very good tho. got the alfonzo and the solitude. they have a pretty good variety of reds and white. would come back. it’s also a store. so you can browse around.

Tourist trap for sure. $ 5 for tasting even if you buy 3 bottles of highly overpriced wine. Overpriced wine gadgetry. Stick to retail outlets for better prices!!!

We did not like any of the wines we tasted at this place. Inside it fills like you are somewhere in the Midwest, staff makes no effort to please you not to interact with you. We will not be coming back.

If this were based just on service and wine tasting fee alone, it would be a 5 star establishment! The wine selection is mostly smaller, boutique labels, but they are tasty wines to try. Nothing really blew me away, but we were spoiled at the other places we stopped. It’s always worth a visit when it’s $ 5 for 6 tastings if not just to see what other folks are showing up in the winemaking arena. Although most of the wines were I think still in a range of $ 30 – 50, so I’m not sure if I would totally recommend spending your dollars here. One of the bottles we purchased was $ 70, but my boyfriend being the design aficionado he is, loved the bottle itself. The folks serving the wine were really enjoyable and made it worth the experience. A really casual pair that were kind enough to open a bottle that wasn’t on the tasting menu so that my boyfriend could try it before he bought it. We did still walk out with a couple bottles and had a great time.

6 tastings for $ 5 for boutique wineries. The lady who served us was very friendly and detailed orientated in describing the wines. On the south side of downtown Sonoma square area.

Had a great time tasting with a great price. Good conversation with the employees, and learned about some Sonoma wineries. Bought a bottle of manzanita zinfandel. Yummy! Very interesting on the employees’ response to a negative review. Negative review sounds unfounded. All and all, good and good!

$ 5 for SIX tastings. In my case, NINE tastings. Until Sonoma, my wine-tasting resume has only been limited to opulent wineries at Napa Valley and occasional neighborhood tastings. And for one who expects to be charged at least $ 25 per tasting, $ 5 is like payday for me! Sonoma Enoteca is a gift shop/boutique that offers tastings at a nice handsome dark wood bar. You will be given an extensive wine list and you will mark your choices. The wines are from Mendocino and Sonoma Coasts. The wines I tried(brut and chardonay) were okay until I tried the Merlot which I definitely did not like. I poured it down after one taste. The friendly staff saw it. She told me that the Merlot did not count. She offered me wines from Favero Vineyards, both from Sonoma: Sangiovese 2006 Monde Di Sassi 2007 And she kept on pouring and pouring until I ended up with 9 tastings!(No, I did not tell her that it was my bday.) The 2 above were my fave among the ones I tasted. Sophisticated, fruity with a nice finish. My fiancé ended up surprising me with 3 wine bottles including the 2 above as part of my birthday presents.(Nice guy!) If you are at Historical Downtown Sonoma and don’t want to drive to the wineries, check out Sonoma Enoteca for very affordable wine tastings in a nice classy environment. The prices are right – $ 25 to $ 38 per bottle. Unless they give you vinegar, you could never go wrong with this. I guarantee you’ll find something you’ll like. Just enjoy the experience! NOTETOSELF: Pick up a couple of bottles of Monde Di Sassi on my next trip to Sonoma. So delightful and so jammy!)

If I could a –1 for this place I would. We were 2 groups of 14&3. the first group went into Sonoma-Enoteca. Given yes, they were a big group and had been drinking for 2 hours, they were a bit loud. Enoteca should be used to this. We walk in with My boyfriend and a friend a few minutes later, the bigger gentleman ask my BF if he was the group. He said«No» but he knows them. The bigger gentleman replies, «its probably a good thing.» We are a biracial couple and my BF happened to be the only caucasian in the group. «hmm food for thought» I leave and go to the bathroom where our friend had just come from. As I wait for my BF who was using it after me, the bigger gentleman comes rushing to the back and yelled: «do not use my bathroom as a conference room.» Now as Unilocaler and as a woman of color, that was a curveball I was not expecting. I go whoa! what do you think we are doing? Black woman, white man, ahhhh… Unilocalers deduce what you may from what he was implying. I was livid. He was also extremely rude to the group. They were very condescending and honestly I will say it, they hate Black people!!! yes! I said it!!! That said, we asked for our money back and left. Let me not forget the notable mention of his sidekick with the pasty hair who kept yelling at us as we were leaving the establishment. I will visit this tasting room again if only for their discomfort.

Gifty — Touristy — Winey — Boutique. Calculated cutesy. Overpriced baubles. Wine tasting on the plaza for those too lazy to travel all of 8 streets in any direction to visit the dozen actual wineries located in Sonoma.

This place is a tourist trap – just look at its location. You’re not getting a deal buying wine here. The woman working at the bar was very friendly and told us her life/sob story, but I felt like we really got guilted into buying wine at the end of tasting. Most places credit your wine tasting fee if you buy a bottle, but not here. I went to use the ladies’ room in the back and practically got tackled by another wine server who informed me that the restrooms were for customers only. I’d been standing at the bar tasting for the past 30 – 45 minutes! She didn’t even apologize after I pointed out my friends and waved at the other wine server behind the bar. WTF! You can do better at the winery tasting rooms. If you like wasting money on mediocre wine and junk wine accessories that you can find at high-end grocery stores, come here.
