They have this really attractive young lady who is always very very helpful and efficient. i don’t know her name but she is very smart. They have a great selection of smoke items i need for both tobacco and medicine. I say great service and selection that does it for me. Finally the late hours are a real bonus.

Went here a few times to buy some dip and some smokes. Every time they overcharged me. The receipt they give you doesn’t give you a break down. When it doubt add it up yourself on your phone calculator. I will probably never go back. Kind of shady.

I’m surprised by all the low ratings. It’s a well stocked shop, open late and has mostly fair prices(ranging from great for tobacco to not so for accessories.) I’ve considered Sharon, at the Briar Shoppe, a friend for twenty-five years and like R&B’s too, but Cigar Palace is open later. Never had any bad experience with staff. The guy can be a bit gruff, but not offensively so and the lady is always very pleasant and helpful. Definitely has the best selection of «head shop» items in mid/south county. Briar Shoppe has a better selection of high end cigars, but the Cigar Palace has a decent selection. I’ve never tried or needed to return anything. I probably would have given it four stars, except for reading here there is a no returns policy. But if you are at HD, or BestBuy or SW anyway, it certainly is convenient. So don’t let the crabby reviews scare you off. They don’t bite or suck, and convenience, fair prices and good selection are more important to me, than a warm and fuzzy clerk experience.

I’ve called this store 5 times today over the last 7 or 8 hours and haven’t gotten picked up on once somehow… The reason I’m calling is to check stock on an item I was told would be restocked last week and still has not been. This place is unbelievably poorly staffed. Nobody here cares at all. Shop elsewhere if you can avoid this place.

Horrible asshole dude working there. Bought a $ 10cigar, it was terrible,(the first one was great, same brand). Called the shop, the guy said that he wouldn’t refund money, but he would exchange it, good! Went there, to do so and he would not even exchange it. Myself, nor any of my family will never give them another dime.

I went here to buy a vape pen. I left spending about $ 65 which I thought was a good deal until I found out that the vape pen I bought is sold for about $ 20 everywhere else. When I went back an hour later with the vape pen still completely sealed and untouched, they told me there were no refunds. I understand that that’s a common policy in head shops, but they had zero signs posted with their return policy. THEN, the guy who sold me the pen tells me it’s my fault that I didn’t know about the price before. I told him I didn’t expect to get ripped off by $ 40 or for them to mark up their products 3 times the amount of what they should be. I left pissed off and more bummed about my new vape pen than excited. If you feel like being completely ripped off and then treated like shit, this smoke shop is the place for you.

This place is new, and I’ve been in there a few times for cigars or pipe tobacco. The walk-in humidor is nice and big and the selection is fine(though it seems a bit sparse for so large a humidor). The guy who runs the place is friendly and knowledgeable. He carries only a very limited selection of pipe tobacco, all of which is pre-packaged from another location(i.e., not especially fresh). The price was reasonable however, and what I got was more to my taste than what I’ve found at the Bay Briar Shoppe nearby. At this point it’s still worth the drive over to San Jose for pipe tobacco. He has a small selection of cigar and tobacco pipe paraphernalia, all of which seemed a little high-end…which maybe suits the gift-buyers and the boys hoping to look like men at their bachelor parties, but is not likely to help the owner build up a regular clientele of cigar and pipe-tobacco enthusiasts. I think I also saw that the back of the shop is loaded up with bongs and the like. It’s relatively easy to ignore that part of the shop if you’re there for tobacco, but it seems this place may not be able to resist the pothead juvenalia juggernaut that has overcome most smoke shops in the past 40 years.
