Lotsa fun, they have shuffle board and pool tables. Love to pick songs on the juke box. They also have a couple other games. Cool chill spot to drink a few and relax. Bar tender is friendly

I’m sorry but I was really not impressed first off the bartender had no idea how to make drinks like a Black Superman or an Alabama Slammer. She made me a slammer that was way too sweet and then when I told her it wasn’t made right she insisted I still had to pay for it! Really? I guess that’s what I get for trying to order something other than a classic cocktail!

Great cheap drinks, you can even order breakfast from Sunrise nextdoor while enjoying fabulous bloody Mary’s! Definitely a neighborhood joint! I hear calzone night is a favorite, but haven’t tried it myself!

Okay I have been to JJ’s three times now. Each time I am not satisfied with the customer service. It is a PITTY! This place would be great if they provided a friendly bar staff but unfortunately they are lacking this fairly simple quality. When I go into a bar I am looking forward to being welcomed, this does not happen here! The drink selection is great and the location is prime. I would give it at least a five star if it wasn’t for the unprofessional service.

Great food, LOVE their most nightly specials & their zucchini fries are amazing… oh ya and the bottlecaps are too — it’s all GREAT really… Wish the bar had Coors OG but hey can’t complain they have LongBoard which I will be happy to settle for ;)

I really like this place, I’m not in Soquel too often but when I am and the timing is right, I always stop in for a drink at JJ’s. I would call this a classy dive bar. Its small and a bit divey but the people that hang out there seem to be a bit less shady than you would find at a true dive bar. They have a great selection of draft beers and all the booze you could ever want at reasonable prices.
Im a fan!
Pool table and shuffleboard is a bonus too!

JJ’s is really the best shuffle board in town.
Lori is one hell of a bartender. The drinks are good, and by good i mean PLENTY of booze in them. The drink prices are very reasonable also.
JJ’s has a small kitchen you can grab some food while your drinking and just hang out.
It is a relaxed environment and never to crowded, plenty of tv’s with all the games on and the juke box that has tons of music.
There is always a mixed crowd there so it is never boring.
I try and go there 2 or 3 times a month.

Came here with the boys for my dear friends wedding. Ain’t it great to know both the bride and groom from childhood :) Anyhow, my beau is one of the groomsmen so we drove up from SJ to this joint to meet up with the other boys. Of course, he and the others came in tee and jeans… and I was already dress in wedding attire! Definitely an interesting experience. This place is more cleaner than I expected a bar to be, not grungy at all. They had a different channel on and of course these boys are Shark fans… gotta have watch the sharks before the big day! The guy running this place was pretty easy going and switched the channel for us on 2 tvs. They also had food service from next door come over to serve you! They wanted fries so it was specially ordered as well…$ 5 for 2 semi filled plates of fries.

Perfect hangover destination.
The bloody marys are good more often than not. You can order breakfast from next door and eat it at the bar. They even send over a waitress who takes your order and serves you.
It’s an awesome one-​stop on a Sunday morning.
