Love the former review but the phone contact is a disconnected number. Does anyone know how to contact them?

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Soquel, CA
Soquel Cemetery(the old section) is a *Non-Endowment cemetery*(see photo of signs). Non-Endowment means those who bought the plot need to take care of the graves and to do the mowing. I will say this again: non-endowment means the families are supposed to come out to mow, trim and otherwise care for the graves of family members and loved ones. I am restoring the Soquel Cemetery as on a volunteer basis. I do NOT work for the cemetery. I have gotten a lot done in the past few years mainly by myself and at my own expense. I get that its weird to have an active cemetery that is Non-Endowment but it does not make it any less the families responsibility to show up and take care of their loved ones. If I can do it so can the families. There is plenty of parking. I’d say there is room for 8 cars on a nice area with pea gravel, and in front of the crematorium(a separate business — please be considerate and do not block the gate that the hearse uses 24 hours, day or night). The center road is blocked off because people drive over graves if the road is open. I park in the gravel and haul tools over the entire 4.5 acres myself so I am living the dream as much as the next person. The other side of the cemetery(Jewish side, endowment plots) is the Endowment side which I do not get involved with much. Questions on that side? Contact me, I can direct you. Want data on a plot? I am not the owner but I can help. Seek me out on my Facebook page called«Soquel Cemetery Inquires»(www.facebook/groups/soquelcemetery), or message me through Unilocal.
