Ok, so I decided that I’d take my dad out for Father’s Day on Saturday to avoid the crowds on Sunday. First thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant from the hallway was how extremely DARK it was. Needs more lighting in here! We were seated by a younger guy and soon after our waitress can to take our drink orders. As we waited for our drinks, we looked over the menu, which was just the right size– not too much to choose from, and not too little. Our waitress came back to take or orders and my dad was first. He wanted a salad with his dinner with Thousand Island dressing. Our waitress said they were out of Thousand Island dressing, which I found interesting because I was set on ordering the New York style Reuben sandwich(these usually come with T.I. Dressing.) So I was forced to open the menu back up in a hurry to figure out what else I may want. When she got to me, I made the comment to her that I was going to order the New York style Reuben sandwich but since there wasn’t any thousand Island dressing I was going to order something else. She then made the comment that«well, we’re out of Reuben anyway –we’re out of reuben.» I think she meant thy were out of corned beef??? Not sure. My concern is that for the size of the menu, you’d think they’d have what they need in stock for their dinners. It’s not an extensive menu. I also got the feeling that she was in a hurry, and felt as if we were holding her up. I was not very pleased with our waitress. I ordered the sautéed perch dinner which was good, but the pieces were small, and not very many– maybe 6 little pieces. Mashed potatoes were ok. Mom and dad got the prime rib and they were very happy. I dropped a $ 100 bill for dinner and tip. I might be back– maybe. We’ll see.

Had never heard of or seen the restaurant due to its hidden location. Found a Groupon and decided to try it out and boy were we pleasantly impressed! We started out with mozzarella sticks which were huge and delicious! My husband got the peppercorn steak that tasted amazing and cooked to perfection. We also got the buffalo hog wings which he said were the best wings he has ever had. Without the Groupon it could be an expensive meal, but worth it.

I was very happy with this establishment. The service was very prompt but it probably helped that we went in on a Wednesday night when it was rather vacant. It is located in a hotel pretty far back from the street, so many people probably don’t even know it exists which is a shame. The sandwiches are very good. The pulled pork and chicken parmesan sandwiches are delicious and quite filling. The house salad wasn’t too wimpy either: good tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and cheese on top. The sweet potato fries are what you would probably expect. The shrimp appetizer was delicious; just spicy enough for my weak tongue but sweet to make me keep wanting more. The ice cream sandwich dessert was a great cherry on top. The ambience is nice as well and I felt very comfortable. The food is reasonably priced for what you get, but it’s not cheap. The service was very quick. I hope to patronize this restaurant again in he future and try more of their wonderful food!

We came in here because we had the groupon… and what a surprise! This place is great! We were greeted by a manager, sat at a table with a witty and fun server, and then had a meal to die for. I had the bone in KC steak that was seasoned and charred to perfection, and my girlfriend had the queen prime rib that was quite substantial in size and very tasty. Overall, our experience was great and we think we found a new place to call«ours».
