4 visits in the past month and its delicious every time.
I feel as though at no point in the past decade has this place been empty on the weekends! In both January and Mid February, the line is out the door, its incredible… BTW, on Presidents weekend the windchill was –24 degrees and you bet your ass, the people were pouring in. We could not believe the line at 9:45am on a Sunday with Arctic temperatures. Just goes to show how great the food is.

My wife hits the specials board no matter what, From Buffalo Chicken Omelette’s to Blueberry Pancakes she raves about each meal.
We have brought somewhere north of 20 friends and family at different times and they all say when we head to the Cape: «Make sure you get a Grumpy’s Coffee and Breakfast» Famous from Dennis to North Jersey!

Best breakfast ever. That’s all I can say. The waitress we had was wonderful. The eggs Benedict are out of this world and the fresh cornbeef is terrific. B4 we finished me and my wife looked at each other and said we will be here tomorrow. Plenty of selections to keep coming back everyday of our vacation. There’s nobody grumpy at grumpy’s. Even if you have to wait it’s worth it.

Expect long wait times in the summer, obviously to be expected… but in the winter! Sat promptly with great coffee, food, and service. This place is casual and awesome everytime we come. Thank you Grumpys!

Well it wasn’t Unilocal who brought us here it was a Dunkin worker after I told her every breakfast placed that I Unilocaled was closed after posting it was open. Yes thank you Jesus. What a great place and we cannot wait to go back. We both are grass grain free. That didn’t stop us from being completely satisfied my eggs Benedict which was perfectly cooked eggs was served over homemade corn beef hash instead of muffins. Which was delicious. My BF had scrambled and fish cakes. By the way not only were our breakfasts great. The service was a plus and our meals came out in less than 10 minutes

Dude, I love this place. Great breakfast, top quality ingredients. One of the best in Dennis. Service is always friendly and food is always top notch. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, on Cape when it’s good, it’s busy, In season expect to wait. Off season, you can also wait. I won’t wait that long in season, but off season I am happy to enjoy the equally as good food and service.

Always an amazing breakfast! Don’t be intimidated if you see a line… It always moves quickly! I adore the banana split waffle… It’s a staple to share at our family’s table. Their hash is also some of the best this side of the bridge.

We had another great meal here again! 9 of us and we were sat with in 5 minutes. My son and I had dietary questions and the owner answered everyone! He even went as far as to take the ingredients label off the package and brought it to me! We were treated with honest answers and made our breakfast an enjoyable time! They have a lot of veggie options on the black boards and service was awesome! Can’t wait to return again especially knowing its a safe place for us to eat! Thank you all at the restaurant for your help!

Definitely worth checking out. Love, love, love their egg benedicts. The pancakes are also delish. Love the cozy, country cottage feel of the place. The coffee also has a nice flavor. Staff is usually cheery and nice.

Awesome breakfast. Corned beef hash and eggs. Yum! Worth the wait in the line outside the restaurant. Much older waitresses (I’m thinking 75) completed the meal. They were great! You won’t be disappointed.

We just beat the crowd this morning. When we left at 10 the line was nearly to the street – and after the delicious breakfast, I see why! Apple bacon cheddar omelet filled the entire plate. Sweet fresh apples and the best bacon I have ever tasted. If they hadn’t been so busy, I would have asked where it came from. Cranberry nut muffin grilled — unbelievably delicious. Hubby had cornmeal pancakes, yummy, not something you find in many restaurants. Good prices, attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

1st time in Cape Cod and could NOT have found a more delicious breakfast anywhere! Andrea was our server who excels at her job!
Waited in line about half an hour but it moved smoothly. Very friendly staff who appreciate the customers choosing their restaurant.
Trying to choose WHAT to eat was the hardest thing to do. Others orders would go by and my husband & I would drool. Plenty of food on the plates!
Pricing was good, even less than other breakfast restaurants!
My husband had the Grumpy’s Scrambler filled with peppers and onions, home fries and toast. He said it’s the best he has had in years! I had the traditional Eggs Benedict. To die for!!! They have at least 10 varieties to chose from.
Free refills on sodas. I guess some places here charge for them. Go figure.
Will definitely be back on our next trip to the Cape!

Absolutely Superb. Wish they had this quality style cuisine here in Brooklyn. I must go, Highly recommended. Do not be deterred by the line outside, it was actually quick. Once we were seated, a hit of wonderful southern hospitality. PANCAKES to die for, gawd, I can’t seem to get it out of my mind, lol. I will be back. Wonderful, cozy, warm feeling to this restaurant. Great ambiance and décor, and of course an immaculate restroom. Thanks Grumpy’s for a wonderful morning. Bön Pan-​etit :)

Another summer on the Cape another week of breakfasts at Grumpys.
2 Eggs 2 Chocolate Chip pancakes and bacon… large orange juice.
Not to mention all the muffins are fresh, yummy and huge! My favorites were the corn and blueberry.
Best time on the Cape is after Labor Day.

This review is for Grumpy’s MUFFINS:
Listen up, I know muffins and pride myself in being able to rate the quality of a good muffin. Grumpy’s has some of the BEST and freshest muffins I have ever had. Just like a 2am booty call, these muffins are warm, big, and great after a night of drinking. The apple apple cinnamon is amazing! The muffin top spills over the stump and you get some great pulls off that top edge which is perfect for dunking in coffee. My favorite is the apple cinnamon muffin. If you go to this place and the line is too long, skip to the front, buy a muffin or 2, and leave happy.

Went for steak and eggs at red cottage then ordered same dish at grumpy’s. There are good reasons people like grumpy’s, it is easier to locate on 6A, has a nice ambience, seems roomier than Cottage. But there is no comparison as to food. Red Cottage is superior in every respect. Grumpy’s sirloin tips were tough and hard to chew. The hash browns came in brown squares from a freezer and the roast seemed several days old. Not saying I don’t like grumpy’s — just saying the food is far and away not as good as Red Cottage. Breakfast burrito which we had recently was also awful. Red Cottage is a joint that is constantly experimenting and improving. Grumpy’s not going in positive direction and dropped the crab Benedict. They need to wake up-​and reverse course and courses.

Wonderful breakfast spot in Cape Cod. Had a delicious spinach, mushroom, cheese quiche that was excellent. Pancakes were good, but nothing special. Quiche came with large fruit cup and a hashbrown. Huge menu with so many great looking options. Waitresses are friendly and very fast. Excellent décor and atmosphere. Will have to go back and try other items.

Amazing!!! Food and coffee are ridiculously good but be prepared to wait. Fortunately when we showed up there were seats available at the counter so that worked out perfectly.
