I have been there several times, never left disappointed. The martinis are perfect, service is great, the food is delicious and well presented. The view makes for a perfect ambient, weather you are on a romantic date or casual gathering.

Consistently good service and good food except for the seafood stew which was super bad. I’m a really big fan of their lobster mac & cheese. Beautifully adorned dining room where you can either dress up or go casual. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and I’m very satisfied with the service and the food.

Very good and wicked clean. Servers are exceptional. Barmaid Betsy is super fun. Also has a great personality. The sassy shrimp is a must. And look for the ½ price appitizers!

Located of the restaurant was beautiful on the marshland. The clam chowder was really great, it’s really close to mine when I make it at work, very good Sandwich choices were great and also fresh salads. Bloody Mary made to perfection. Servers were very helpful. Would recommend this establish to anyone.

Nothing remarkable, but a solid lunch or dinner option. Service was quite slow. Setting is lovely — overlooking the marsh and lots of birdwatching opportunities.

Fantastic bread basket! The clam chowder and lobster macaroni and cheese were excellent. Our server was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was quite cozy.

Great airy, spacious and warm atmosphere, but not entirely authentic: kind of a barn vibe in a beautiful building sitting right on the marsh(as the name suggests), but I got that«wedding venue vibe,» if that makes any sense. I enjoyed my dining experience here, however. I think the entrée prices were a little steep, based on the type of restaurant this was, which suggests a more casual vibe, but their sandwiches were reasonable and I appreciated having the ability to order an app-sized salad as a starter for only $ 6 or $ 7. They brought us waters and a tremendously impressive basket of bread after we sat down, which placated us immediately. Also was mightily impressed by their waiting area: they actually had kids toys in the center ottoman surrounding the ample seating area. Brilliant for those with little ones– all the kids we saw were wholly occupied during their wait– genius! As for the real food, my chicken sandwich was good, as was my starter salad(half of a beet salad). I didn’t order anything unique enough to proof out the quality of their food, but I was very satisfied with what they served me. Portions were hearty and the food was good. Nothing extraordinary but I think you go there for the atmosphere anyway.

Good location, good food(we had the roast turkey and club sandwich). Service was awful. Teenage waitresses more interested in chatting and texting their friends than actually providing customer service. You have been warned.

I had a wonderful meal, good service, and there were great views. I did not have my kids, but they would have loved it too. Very family friendly.

Best bread basket on Cape Cod! The Marshside is a beautiful building and overlooks the marsh and Sesuit Harbor in East Dennis. All of the tables have a great view. They don’t take reservations and there is usually a wait, but they make the wait less painful in a lot of ways. They have areas inside and outside to sit until your table is ready and a cocktail waitress comes around to take drink orders. They also often put out cheese & crackers. For kids they offer toys to play with, including American Girl dolls. Their menu has a variety of local and traditional options: chicken parm, burgers, seafood. Definitely worth a visit and the wait!

We have been going to the Marshside since it was a small cozy place with good food and lovely views. Our last visit while our children were staying with us was a big disappointment. Service was fine. The wait was reasonable for a summer evening. The food though was sub par. Both orders of fried clams were over cooked. It was brought to our server’s attention but nothing was done about it until the check was delivered and there was no adjustment to our check. The other meals were good, but not anything special. We are going to give the Marshside a rest and possibly give it a try again off season.

Food is good. Workers are all 16 years old. They’re AC is controlled from Boston so be prepared to ROAST in there. It was like 85 degrees and they«couldn’t do anything about it».

Marshside is our number one place to go on the cape. Beth the bartender is awesome. I highly recommend the corn chowder, Tuscan BLT and the burger on a pretzel roll. They also make a really good Moscow Mule !!!

Even though it’s a little expensive, the food is delicious. My family and I have never been disappointed with a meal here. This time We started off with a cup of the clam chowder and the butternut squash and apple soup, perfect way to start the meal. For our main meals, I had the lobster Mac and cheese, my dad had the haddock, mom had baked stuffed shrimp and my sister had a veggie burger. We all left stuffed and completely satisfied. I would recommend the lobster Mac and cheese to anyone!!!

This place is terrific. It is a beautiful facility, impeccably maintained and staffed by friendly, competent people. We ordered a burger, chowduh, buffalo fingers, chicken, and everything was delicious. The view from the windows is excellent, too. Lots and lots of old folks were there, so it was lively but not rowdy.

I have eaten at the Marshside for years. I ate hear for breakfast even before the major, fantastic new building. Normally I find it ok food with good service. It can get quite busy. Tonight I ate at the bar and due to celiac disease I turned away the bread and the bar tender rolled his eyes! When I ordered the Marshside wedge with no dressing but oil and vinegar on the side he said. So you want three pieces of lettuce with tomatoes! Really if I don’t want the ranch dressing that’s what I get! Great location. Beautiful view. That’s about it.

This is a gem of a restaurant, sited, appropriately, at the side of the marsh, wonderful views from most tables. The menu has something for everyone, is priced moderately and the food well prepared. The spicy buffalo chicken sandwich was super, as was the stuffie with clam chowder. I could go on but you should go see for yourself! Preferably before dark.

Oh, the Marshside restaurant is a great looking eatery with good enough food but when the weatger turns warm the service goes south. I eat here year round and it’s good foood that is convent and typically the service is great, but this year things have been falling apart. Just today I take the family for dinner, party of 6 and are informed it’s a 45 minute wait, ok it’s the busy season. After 65 minutes I inquire about when we woild be seated, 10 minutes I am told. Ten minutes later I am told ten minutes again! So I speak with manager who states, «we seat the regulars first.» After a few secinds she realizes that I am in fact a regular who eats in her establishment about twice a month and low and behold a table opens right up. She then avoids us for the entire meal and has the waitress apologize. So, if you go be ready to wait, watch your place on the seating form, and remember that the regulars willl be taken care of first until winter rolls around.

I don’t understand these negative reviews. We almost didn’t try it and are so glad we did. It was shoulder season for lunch and the place was busy but no lines. The building is absolutely stunning. Open rafter ceiling with beautiful views of the marsh. We scored a window table on a sunny day — a good start. Service was very good, but formal, not chatty. Food came out in short order. First off, great presentation. The Cobb salad, beet salad and chicken puff pastry looked like pictures from magazines. I wish I had taken a picture of the oysters. My wife(who doesn’t like them) said they were beautiful. The Cobb was as good as it gets, moist chicken, fresh ingredients, crunchy meaty bacon bits and homemade blue cheese dressing. The beet salad was delightful and the chicken puff pastry was very tasty. The oysters on half shell not only loked good, were the best I have had all year. Perfectly shucked, lots of liquor — scrumptious. I felt like I could only give 4 stars because we went for lunch not dinner. We are planning on a return trip for dinner. I hope our next experience is as good as this visit.

I really enjoyed Marshside! By the looks of the dining room and waiting area, this place is well liked in the area and all for good reason. First of all, free valet? Sweet! The porch is a super cute spot to wait for a table. We didn’t have to wait(lucky) but as we were leaving, we saw families and couples sipping wine while waiting and it seemed like such a cute, nice spot to do that. We had a group of six, and we lucked out with a table sort of behind the bar along the windows. What a view! It is such a lovely area and a very pretty view. I very much enjoyed also that we had our own little area, so while it was louder in the main part of the restaurant, we could all hear each other, which was nice. I started off with the clam chowder. It was quite tasty with a good amount of clam and it also wasn’t overly creamy which I personally like. I then had the lobster roll. I just can’t get enough of the lobster when I’m in the Cape(yes, lobster for lunch that day, too!), and this one was delicious. Big, meaty pieces of lobster, not overly dressed and perfectly sweet and tasty. I skipped dessert as I was totally stuffed, but by the looks of their offerings, dessert must be good as well. The service was really friendly and efficient, but they didn’t rush us at all and didn’t seem concerned that we were just chatting away and not paying attention to the menu. Definitely worth a visit. I don’t know exactly how prices stack up as my sandwich was on the lower end of the price range, but it seemed to skew a bit pricey. Quality is definitely there, though, and I don’t think it was overwhelmingly expensive. Good drink list as well to round out the menu. Worth a visit but definitely go early or sip your drink on the porch as this place was hopping!
