Great Place! We fortunate to have a nice waitress that understand my rush to eat and run. Did not appreciate the person in front that guide us to our table. My husband and I got to this restaurant like 11:45am.store don’t open till noon. understood! But why make us wait when she can just seat us? On top of that… she sat us by the bathroom. which I said «NO!» But, you would think she would think that we were the first customer at this place and that is the first place to seat us? Hello?

thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! we sat at the bar and conveniently enough, they have amazing prices after 9:00pm at the bartop including lots of half priced appetizers and small bite options (they are quite big for small plates)
we started with some cocktails and I was a fan of the pineapple crush drink which was vodka, soda water, a splash of pineapple and muddled pineapple chunks. it was light and refreshing and featured on the low calorie drink menu which is always a plus. I also had an espresso martini which was very good!
for food we tried many items off the late night and small plate menu. the buffalo macaroni and cheese was delicious; creamy, cheesy with large chunks of tender white meat buffalo chicken. it was our favorite! the spinach artichoke dip is also good served with pita bread and tortilla chips; perfect for sharing! I would definitely come back in hopes of trying an entrée!

Wish I could give them 5 stars, but… we called 30 minutes ahead for «call ahead seating“and requested patio seating. We arrived and waited in line behind 1 couple to check in with the hostess. The couple had not called ahead, but was seated prior to us. They must have taken the last table, as we waited an hour to be seated outside. Once we were seated outside, the sun was already setting, and the couple ahead of us had already finished their meal. Should have been us!!! Other then that… the food and drinks were delish. Lots of options.

Good lunch spot. Extensive menu, lots of choices. I enjoyed their «seafood from hell,» which is mildly spicy. Delicious. They have some great sandwiches too, like their Reuben and Tuna Salad.
Lots of delicious drinks, too. Try the raspberry bellini.

Went there a few weeks ago for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered soup and sandwich and the sandwich was o.k. but the soup made Campbell soup look gourmet. It tasted like they mixed 2 bullion cubes with a cup of water, heated it up, added leftover grilled chicken, threw in some raw carrots and onion and threw it in the microwave for a minute. I never said anything because it wasn’t that the soup was spoiled, it was just not cooked properly. Either purposely or in error I was also not charged for the soup, but regardless, I wont be returning as I would never trust any other menu item from a business that has so little pride to serve what they served as chicken soup.

Fantastic dinner here last night. I got the scallops frangelico which comes with lobster risotto– it was better than my meal at Marliave earlier this week. And the winter cocktail menu is on point (though guessing it will soon be changed for spring!). Also, I pretty much always make reservations but after an event my friends and I had only then decided to go out to dinner… at 7 pm on a Saturday. Stopped in several places that were an hour wait. Luckily Stoneforge has call ahead! Problem solved.

Went there on a Monday night and it wasn’t busy at all. The bar was busy but there were only a handful of seated tables. We were seated right away by the hostess.
Our waitress was very attentive and polite throughout the whole service.
We ordered two Cobblestone Steak Tips dinners, which come with 2-​sides, and the Stoneforge Rib-​Eye steak which also came with 2-​sides.
We had two iced teas, and a water to drink.
Our meals were great and everything was cooked perfect.
I would definitely recommend this place as a steakhouse and give it a 4−½ star rating based on our experience.

I can’t believe the horrible service at this place. It was like that the first time my husband and I ate here, and it was like that on our second try too. We waited for the hostess for soooo long, even though there were hardly any people even there for lunch that weekday. She seemed almost angry when she finally came over and asked how many people. Then when she led us to our table, it took forever for the waitress to come by and then to deliver each drink/​course to us. The food was fine, but I won’t go back because of the long waits and rude service.

This place nailed it! Today was my birthday so I was prepared to be extra picky – if they had screwed this up I would not have been happy! Fourteen-​minute ticket time on food; salads were tastefully presented and were out in 3 minutes. Our food was cooked and presented perfectly; the prime rib was excellent. Meal started off with bread in an olive oil-​butter-​parmesan type sauce. Our server was Jackie and she was great. Definitely plan on coming back soon.

Go to this place at least once a month! Always great food and service! The princes are wonderful too and you get a lot of FOOD!!! I always take home left overs! The owner is always on site and very involved!!! Great place!!!

Great all around. Big for us is the outdoor dining and one of the only places in the area to have huge open windows in the bar area.
During many visits we have enjoyed the dining room, the chefs table is an awesome experience and we have celebrated special events in the Stonehill Room.
The bar has a great small plate menu and terrific staff. They have multiple beers on tap and always new microbrews rotating through.

The food was served hot fresh and in a timely manner. The service was good the waitress was nice and always attended to our needs. We sat on the patio. It was a nice summer night the atmosphere was fair not too quiet and not too loud outside. This is my second time here and I have no complaints about this place.

The food is great and the building looks nice.
However, the price ($ 30ish/​person) doesn’t match the paper menus and Pepsi-​sponsored cups and bendy straws (think: cheesy buffet).
The chef is the main reason to return. Everything else is just OK.

I used to be a frequent visitor to Stoneforge when I was a student nearby and I’m happy to say I’m just as pleased with it as I was back then!
The best part of the meal, what I look forward to any time, is the bread and cheesy oil dip. I could just eat this for my main meal and be satisfied.
I was also pleased with Stoneforge’s take on calamari — well fried with tomatoes, olives and a slightly spicy aioli — it was perfection.
The only dish I was disappointed with was the lobster mac and cheese, the consistency was just off, very watery.
Overall, Stoneforge is a quality restaurant where you can get good food and drinks without breaking the bank.

What can I say, This restaurant is great. Fast service, clean, friendly servers and host. I had to wait 45 minutes down the seat at farmer’s daughter just to be sat and place an order. So I decided to go to old faithful, and low and behold they came through with a good time. I highly recommend.
Great place to go on a date, or to discuss business over great food and cold drinks.

brought a bunch of clients in for lunch.
Food was solid and reasonably priced.
Ordered the lobster roll which was huge and came with a side of fries and a pickle. The lobster was fresh and not overly dressed.
Service was somewhat slow but we were not in a hurry so it was fine.

DEALS/​FOOD: I always come here for their bar food! They have an awesome deal from Sunday– Thursday (9pm-​11pm only) ½ price bar food (dine-​in bar only). The menu does change so you won’t get sick of the same food that is being offered. I recommend the florentine stuffed mushroom, they recently changed it into mini mushrooms instead of the the single big one, but still taste fantastic.
ATMOSPHERE: Beautiful entrance from the outside with trees dressed in lights. Plenty of parking spaces. INSIDE– I love restaurant that offers an open kitchen where you can see how your food is prep and made and know there weren’t any funny business going on. The ambiance is cozy with low lighting. As for noise level, it can get loud especially when there’s a game going on.
