Ill rather starve to death if it was the only place to get food. Flies were all over the cookie counter. Cant imagine where they’ve landed before… Customer service was extremely rude #mariagarcia. Havent been there since 2009…

I had the worst experience here! This was my to go spot ide choose this subway over any other one only cause ive been coming here for years! So my husband and i walk in and right from the beginning this girl behind the counter looked like she didnt want to be there. So i ask for the bread i wanted(jalapeño) her answer simply was«we dont have it». So i pick another and move on to toppings i ask for cucumber and again«we dont have none» so then i said in a joking voice so maybe shed laugh or something«wow u guys are out of everything today» aaand nothing she looked upset. So then i ask her if there was any broccoli soup she said«no but i can put some in the microwave and take it to you» i said um ok cool so i pay for my meals and walk to sit and eat. So about 30 min pass and no soup i was already done with my sandwich and i really wanted to eat it with my soup. I wanted to leave but i had already paid for the soup so i walk to the register and shes in the back with another girl there laughing and talking about stuff they shouldn’t be taking about at work. So after what seemed like forever she walks to were i was and looks at me like what? I say im still waiting for my soup, she said oh ok so she gets the cup of soup and puts it in the microwave and says do u wanna pay for it now? And i said wait i already paid she looks at me and says«no i charged you for chips plus you ate them already» (i didn’t!) I said no i didnt get any chips i got my 2 sandwiches and 2 sodas and was waiting for my soup. And i point to our table so shed see theres no chips anywhere and she says well i dont know i saw you take the chips. Wow at this point im upset because not only did i wait over 30 min for her to «microwave» my soup shes now accusing me of stealing. So i tell her again that i didnt take chips shes mistaken and she says whatever if you want the soup you have to pay me an extra dollar. Lol at this point i dont even want the soup but im mad because shes literally standing there hands on her hip saying i ate something i didnt. So i tell her im not paying for anything so she calls someone she doesnt say who and tells her whats going on(her version) went a little like this(she ate the chips and now wants free soup what do i do) the person on the other end tells her i had to pay. So then i say forget the soup ill take the chips you said you charged me for but i did NOT eat and go and i asked to speak to a manager she tells me theres no one there just her. And i said ok call your manager so i can speak to him/her she refused than i say give me your managers name and number where i can contact him/her she also denied to. And said i couldnt take any chips since she said i had already ate them. I wanted her to see how wrong she was so i told her to look at the cameras then. I didnt want the damb chips but dammit i was mad already so i told her i was going to complain and she says to me «i dont care do it» and she took her name badge off. Which made me laugh cause 1. I had already read her name its KAREN A. and 2. Her name is on my receipt. Ill post a picture of it so you’ll see and hopefully if the owner or manager sees this maybe they can see how the customers are being treated because i wrote subway and gave a bad review on tell subway… and i never heard back. Ive never nor will i ever go back there. Just pisses me off how rude she was i seriously couldnt believe it

This Subway rocks. I read a few less than stellar reviews regarding customer service, but I like their no-nonsense approach. When I go to Subway, it’s because I want a quick and healthy lunch, at a good value. I don’t need the attendants to make small talk with me to make me feel important. I like that they don’t dilly-dally, because this keeps the long line moving during the lunch rush. If you need people to make you fell warm and fuzzy inside, try a therapist instead of the sandwich lady at Subway. If you want a fresh quick sandwich at a good value, then this is the best place in the area. One more thing, there’s always plenty of parking, and the location is perfect right on the corner of Garvey and Rosemead.

Worst Subway location I’ve been to. The girl who has dark hair that work at 3:30PM today make ordering so awkward. She seems so unhappy with her job. Although most of the employees here always seem unhappy making sandwiches. They should be grateful they have a job. If they don’t like making sandwiches or pretend to like then quit! It’s not customers fault so start faking a smile to customers. The vegetables here is not as fresh as some of the other locations. I think they have the worst staffs of all subways I’ve gone to.(I’ve been to a lot of subways) Only reason why I came back to this location is because I was waiting for my car to be done washing behind this subway. And I was starving ;(

This place is pretty much as good as a Subway gets! I’m a regular here, coming in several times a week, and usually buying multiple sandwiches for my coworkers as well. The food is the standard Subway freshness, with a very nice staff to help put every delicious combination together for you. And they accept app orders, so that means I can order ahead of time without waiting in line… and get a free cookie in the process… :)

I’ve been here a few times. The other reviewers are correct in saying that the girls working there are not overtly friendly, but they aren’t rude or unpleasant either. I’ve seen alot grumpier workers at other fast-food joints.
The food is generally good quality, the place is generally not too busy(you can get a table). There seem to be alot of weirdo customers that come in this place, and I admire the workers for putting up with them. The place is always clean. My only annoyance are the fan/blower/air conditioner units placed above the doors. Everytime you enter or exit the place you get slammed with a cold blast of air, which isn’t pleasant on a 60 degree day in November.

This is the coldest and sadest subway I been to. The emplyees are so mean you have to beg them for stuff. I kept coming here for breakfast since it was so close to work and I understood their grumpyness to be working so early at subway, BUT! One morning I waited for a long time before they helped me and they were gossiping in the back and ignored me for that! Then, they sell me coffee that wasn’t ready told me I had to wait 30mins for it and threw my cup and sandwich on the counter. Goodness! Also the none of the veggies were fresh anymore as the more i went the more I noticed that the veggies were brown and the meat had a stentch, and the cheese was powerdery. The Subway franchise needs to get on that and make sure consumers are getting fresh food not just for their name sake but for our health’s sake! I hate how I had to even give them a star!

horrible place, avoid at all cost! you totally wont get what you pay for! it’s very obvious that owner is cutting corners in order to save money. we had 6 orders for the workplace and everyone wrote what they wanted on paper and i gave it to the lady. the sandwiches we got were nothing close to what we ordered — sandwich is flattened, barely any meat, they totally skipped the cheese when we had orders with them, skimped on the veggies when our orders specifically lists the items we want, and barely any dressing. the bread is also not fresh at all. the roast beef sandwich i got was dry and tasteless. a coworker’s soup was extremely salty. i’ve seen the owner a few times there before, standing around with an obnoxious attitude and looking over his employees shoulders. i’ve also seen him scold an employee in front of everyone. i own a business myself and that’s not a way to treat an employee! never coming back again.

Im rating this particular subway based on customer service. I go here only for my own convenience but the employees here are rude… on every visit. I could understand if they were having a bad day but you can sense that the girls who work here only deal with you because they have to. They are very short and even their greeting when you walk in sounds awkward. Im not expecting you to love the fact that you work at subway but at least dont act like your dog just died :/
