Two stories, exterior entrances, no elevator. If we were able to have half stars, this would get the 2.5. The room itself was good. I had a queen bed that was very comfortable, a recliner that also was comfortable(I fell asleep in it a couple of times), desk, and microfridge. The property is showing its age though. Stairways were dirty and in my opinion questionable structurally. Walkways also dirty and appeared to not had quality maintenance in some time. Wifi signal was OK in strength and required a sign in every four hours. Front desk staff was polite and professional.

Hotel was clean, front desk receptionists were polite, continental breakfast was standard and free. Price was good $ 55 for a Saturday night with AAA. The hotel is a little dated, but gives you the essentials for the night.

We were invited on short notice to a wedding in Boydton, VA and South Hill was the closest town with any hotels in it. We needed a short notice booking for a room that could host my wife, me, and a baby. We booked the Quality Inn online and everything about our stay was incredible. The room was perfect — our son even slept through the night! The continental breakfast was great, and we were able to stay past the check-out time — all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

This appears to be a former Comfort Inn. The wireless internet doesn’t work. The room is clean, has a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
